Crew: The Hideaway
About: Currently the Hideaway's purpose is a bit "loose," taking more of a independent, free to do what you want direction. Taking the odd jobs, helping others, and just living a more "free adventure life" of the Corsairs, even acting something like "Robin Hood" with their actions. However, although the Hideaway is on the "nicer" side of the Corsair group, they still behave and act more like outlaws, willing to bend and break the rules if needed.

Pitch: Cid is also interested in looking into finding the relic responsible for the rifts, so if there's anyone who wants to potentially stay in Escordvi longterm, this is the group for you! If you just want to have fun and have six powerful Dominants behind your back, also the group for you! We're pretty loose and Cid himself tends to look at people for their talents (especially tech savvy!) and need for a place. So yeah a fun, comfy "found family" type of group. Cid is also running a "magitech" type business so, those interested in inventing and engineering are also welcome. Now that they have their own island, they'll be looking to develop more so they have the ability to have more independence if needed.

Even though they are Corsair affiliated, Paladins are welcome!

About:
G'raha is a Miqo'te with skills as a black mage, white mage, and a paladin. His red eyes are actually unnatural, since his bloodline contains what is called the "Allagan Eye." Long story short, an ancient empire collapsed and a princess gave the G tribe a red eye blinker so that they will be able to control Allagan devices. Through a series of events, G'raha locked himself up inside the Crystal Tower after pretty much believing that his entire adoptive family ( the Students of Baldesion ) were either dead or in an eternal sleep. Anything after that? Chat me up unless you're CS.

He's a historian by nature and those marks on his neck essentially mark him as an expert in his field. Not everyone is given those. As for his personality, he is energetic and excitable. A nerd that can go on about a topic for hours. A lover of heroes and adventure aaaaaand... His own worst critic. This boy legit believes that he constantly has to make himself valuable through what he is capable of doing. So yeah there's that.

About: Jill is a woman who is starting to grow into her own person after spending thirteen years in captivity and being forced to become a warmachine for a less than savory nation. For the last five years, she's spent her newfound freedom joining up with one Cid and one Clive in their plan of changing the world for the better, especially for Dominants like her and the Bearers, people who can use magick without the need of a crystal.

She's empathetic and sympathetic to those who are in need, friendly and polite to people who are likewise to her, and has a desire to travel the world and experience the things that will be new to her. However, Jill can be stubborn and will drop the polite routine and become rude if someone dehumanizes her (she's had enough of that, thank you very much!) or towards people who she considers enemies. I'd be a fool if I didn't mention how close she is to Clive... like attached at the hip close. One will most likely find her near him, if not behind him, supporting him like the good potential wife friend she is. Her loyalty to him runs deep and gods forbid you talk bad about him in front of her.

General: Jill is still a little stuck inside her circle of close confidants, so she needs to break out and meet new people. People who will get her into trouble (the good kind! Talking about getting her drunk for the first time, dragged into some rowdy behavior, talking about non-polite company topics, that sort of thing!) are especially welcome as her birthday is on June 18th and well, she deserves a night out or two!

In more mundane events, she's learning how to cook so people who are willing to be tastetesters or just in general want free food regardless if it's a resembling unsalted charcoal can come bother her all the time (her inbox is always open for random meeting and random threads, don't be shy to hit me up!) She's bad at saying no to those who seem hungry or in need.

Event: Jill has only been to a beach once and it wasn't under the best circumstances, so a tropical resort would be great for her to experience! She'll definitely be swimsuit shopping as she doesn't have one and TBH, doesn't understand the concept of such little fabric being suitable for public wear. Help guide her and possibly make a friend in the process?

She's not willing to be kidnapped a fifth time, even if it's planned, yet she is also Bad At Being A Corsair, so partycrashing someone's wedding isn't something she'd do. However if something wild goes down in front of her, Jill will help save a few brides and grooms from being snatched up!

About: Born a princess, lost at sea, raised as a pirate man, Faris became the youngest-ever captain after befriending the sea dragon Syldra. Then a princess and her two goofy friends tried to steal his ship, a shattered crystal picked him as one of its champions, and they all proceeded to do... a really, really bad job of protecting the crystals. But they got there in the end!!

As a person, Faris is really bad at emotions that are not directly related to being a pirate. He's gotten a little better at it, but his expressions of sentiment are still indirect and plausibly deniable, to say the least. It's easier to get close to him by doing some kind of mission or battle together.

Although Faris is a dyed-in-the-wool pirate, hanging around with his long-lost sister and the other Light Warriors has made him less comfortable with some of the morally worse aspects of the lifestyle, like kidnapping hostages for ransom and whatnot. He also despises poaching and otherwise screwing around with ecology for personal gain.

PLANS

General: Faris almost got killed by Garuda last month, which was something of a wake-up call because he can't think of that many people who would have his back. He's actually going to have to put in some more WORK to make FRIENDS and as terrifying unappealing as the thought of going out and... getting to know people... with feelings... is, he's going to have to do it.

Also (and relatedly, tbh) Faris wants a ship. If your character also cares about the environment and doesn't like bounties that involve killing / capturing / harvesting things purely for profit, you'll probably be a good fit for his crew. And he just likes gathering animals around him, so it's also good for animal lovers! Win-win.
MANTA Board:
Life in color: I love this kind of thing even if Faris wouldn't. LET'S GET OUT OF THE SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICIXPIALIDOCIOUS PAINTING TOGETHER.
Dead Kraken Island: Want to do a great escape with Faris? He's going to be looking for Blackheart, dammit.
Starships: Faris already knows how to do celestial navigation so he'll be doing this one quite eagerly. If you want someone to teach your character how it works, hit him up.
Event: I will probably be doing tagouts because Faris' instincts for Fancy Social Stuff are to try and hide from it.

About: He's your standard JRPG/Shounen protag hero except he's early on in his canon point that he doesn't know or think that he's capable of anything heroic. He's loud, boisterous, a master blacksmith, and while he presents as someone dumber than a box of hammers, he's actually pretty insightful. Boy's got layers. And by layers, I mean the soul of a demonic god of destruction tethered to his own which grants him powers he kind of hates and is actively afraid of. He's also prophesied to be the destroyer of his world, a fact that bothers him. A lot. You can fit so much trauma into this idiot. But he's genuinely a good person at heart and will often do what he can to help, even if it outs him in regards to his powers.

PLANS

General: So after the Garuda incident, Darin has been and will continue to lend his skills to rebuilding and reconstruction on Eltrut. He did battle with Garuda which left him pretty grievously wounded, but thanks to his powers, he's trucking along nicely. That said, anyone is free to and is ENCOURAGED to have seen him fight Garuda in the skies about Eltrut where he probably should have definitely died from the way she wounded him. So questioning why this idiot is up and about and doing heavy construction is something perfectly acceptable.
MANTA Board: of the quests, Darin would most be interested in STARSHIPS and GOLD & GEARS Darin can draw and make maps and would welcome company in doing so, and accessorizing is literally up his alley as a smith. He could easily be talked into LIFE IN COLOR and GET SHIRTY for funsies (the more ridiculous the better for the latter) and I'd like to throw him at THE GREAT ESCAPE.

Faris also got beat up pretty good by Garuda and I am totally down for him having seen someone else take her on. Honestly he'd want to ask about it on that basis alone but the fact that Darin SHOULD HAVE BLOWN UP would definitely merit a comment from him. Especially since he's also been doing construction work when he should have been recovering and it's been pretty taxing. So he will definitely bring it up during their Great Escaping (it'll go great I'M SURE)

About: Can be playful and light-hearted with others when not on the clock, or if he needs to be so in order to establish a working rapport. Meshes well with gremlin or chill types, and a great antagonist to the super serious types.

Vibe checks usually return as 'he's not as laid back as he appears.'

Trends towards being mistrusting of others, and does not easily establish bonds that run deeper than superficial. He's the type that requires bonds to be forged in fire and time, and he's okay with that.

PLANS

General: I'm working towards Reno establishing solid lines of contact with a number of people, and be a point through which gossip and news flows. I still want him to have to cross-reference with others, as Reno is only one person and will require a team and support just as he did at home, so I plan on him still being quite active on scenes and investigations, and cozying up to other gossip/news lines.

Reno doesn't want for power, and without ShinRa to direct his talents for the sake of gaining the company power, Reno's efforts will be focused on keeping those he trusts safe, and using his network of intel to help them with whatever is asked if they need it.

I plan on having Reno straddle lines between Paladin and Corsair, and heroic/villainous, though have him get up to trouble and generally look the part of a villain.

The ultimate goal is to establish Reno as the role he plays in canon: a dubious person that does bad things for good reasons. He'll do the icky jobs and be the bad guy so the heroes can do their jobs. And when the heroes are down for the count, he can be counted on to do what's right, but it won't be honest work, and it won't be for altruistic reasons. It'll be because he doesn't want the people he calls family to get hurt.

MANTA Board: Reno will be pretty active on manta requests. He knows he has to put in the grunt work if he wants to establish points of contact, and learn more about this new world around him.

He's also open to taking personal requests at his discretion to help with his goal of establishing solid lines of contact and build rapports.

Event: Reno hasn't yet visited the crab or mermaids since he's brand new here and trying to respect he can't do everything at once or reasonably expect to know everything immediately.

I want him involved with the emberbloom investigations, and he'll want to learn more about the Leviathans. He'll get involved with the wedding crashing problems, and will be helping steal a boat for Ganon.

Definitely be on the lookout for a fox, and a redhead at the wedding events.

I'm super anxious about tagging out to fandoms I don't personally know. I try to tailor my starters to suit the other character so I know the mun has engaging things to respond to, so if I don't know the fandom, I worry that it won't be fun for the other mun. If I don't know the fandom, I'll ask before tagging into it, but I'm perfectly comfortable with replying to starters from fandoms I don't know, and so I always try to post up toplevels with a lot of different options genre-wise to help muns tag starters into me. I'm also always open to wildcards!

About: Roxas is the Nobody of series protagonist Sora. Or former Nobody, it gets a bit weird. Regardless, he's recently gained a body of his own and was all set to start living his life properly as a normal kid and ended up here instead. He's a little less than thrilled at having his plans messed with but you do what you gotta, even if that means dealing with seasickness and the big scary ocean.

Roxas himself is a pretty easy going kid. He's very much a teenager and doesn't trust super easily. He's fairly cautious, unless you manage to rile his temper up. But it's also pretty easy to break through that veneer and reveal the good kid underneath.

PLANS

General: So, as evidenced in his recent network post, Roxas's confidence is kind of shot after taking a big hit during the Garuda log. In short, we got an arc as Roxas attempts to get stronger, and figure out what that means for him.

I'd love for him to get a teacher or mentor out of it, someone who can really help guide his learning because that is severely lacking in his life. He's largely muddled through on instinct and the hope is that he can actually grow.

He does also have a recovery log if you want to catch up with him there.

About: Leads a group of outlaws working to change the world's current system in treating magic users, making a name for himself as an outlaw in doing so. The Dominant of Ramuh, he's capable of using and turning into the Eikon Ramuh himself and wields lightning as his main element. Goodnatured, friendly, classic rogue, with enough wit and Dad jokes to help lighten any heavy situation. With his experience and endless worldly wisdom, he's the perfect mentor for any young lad who is going through a self-identity crisis and angst. Oh that's just Clive—but he can be a mentor or father figure for anyone who needs it, too. He is also a brilliant inventor and bit of an engineer. There will definitely be spoilers since he'll be after a certain canon point. I usually try not to reference canon events with non-castmates, but I'll be sure to mark them just in case. Between castmates, well, read those threads at your own risk— Spoilers, spoilers everywhere. For more info, he has a profile sheet here.

PLANS

General: HA HA HA HA...WELL LAST MONTH WAS FUN FOR HIM ("fun"). As a recap, he did prime into his Eikon, Ramuh during the Garuda plot, so if anyone wanted to have gotten a look at Ramuh they are free to! Those who have 1) spoken with him, 2) learned about his ability and 3) know what Ramuh looks like can also make connections. However, Cid is otherwise working to keep his and Benedikta's identities a secret, so it would be appreciated if word isn't leaked out without our knowing!

In other news, he and Benedikta have made up and are practically married even if Benna keeps refusing his proposals (but it's okay he's a stubborn old goat). For the most part he's also still recovering, but should be mostly back to normal after another week or two. Just in time for love island 👀 I am debating my load due to my upcoming hiatus, but throwing things down here anyway. If I don't make open log/toplevel then I'll be happy to pop into others!

Otherwise, Cid and his cast will be looking into dealing with their curse as well as helping Joshua with his, uh, unwanted guest problem. I'll probably look into more things he'll be developing into come July. Perhaps a continuation of what started that bounty from April...

Right, so, Karlach is a tiefling barbarian woman who got forcefully conscripted into a war in the Hells. It was a pretty bad time and she got experimented on, resulting in her heart getting replaced with an infernal machine. The machine runs INCREDIBLY HOT, meaning she's afflicted with a permanent status effect of being on fucking fire. It's also going to eventually run too hot and kill her, but let's not worry about that!

At least, she can be used to light campfires or roast things over.

Despite her experiences, Karlach is an excitable golden retriever sort of individual. Her heart is big and open and she's looking to make connections. Life's short and that's why you gotta live it!

General:

About: gojo is a teacher at jujutsu tech and widely recognized as the strongest living sorcerer and he knows it. he is notorious for both his powers and his flippant, bratty attitude, and gives off the impression that he's exuberant and carefree, though he's a lot more damaged beneath it all than he lets on. he's a troublemaker by nature and loves to push people's buttons, but he's got a soft spot for kids, and ultimately just wants to make the world a better place for them through good, old-fashioned education and a little revolution. he also has some CRAU, so he may talk about staying in an interdimensional hotel from time to time.

General: now that gojo is more or less settled in, there are a few areas of focus for him: he will be starting to get restless and itching for combat, so he'll be pretty gung-ho about any quests or events that give him the opportunity to get a little rough. while he's pretty much only used his sorcery so far, i'd like him to start attempting to develop elemental powers with his tattoo, potentially trying to collect too many tattoos and powers as time goes on. this will backfire on him but it'd be neat to explore the consequences of him trying to amass too many abilities.

he will also start exploring getting his own ship and recruiting a crew, and also teaching any of the teens, corsair or otherwise, some hand-to-hand combat. just because they're not sorcerers doesn't mean it's not important to know how to fight!

Starships: find constellations with your local space-aligned sorcerer. he'll probably whine a lot about being bored but he'd love making up constellations.

🗡️ Having primed into Garuda last month and wreaking a ton of havoc after she learned some Very Bad news about life back in canon that she was (very rightfully) upset about, Benedikta is now trying to come to terms with what she heard. Her journey from here on out will be dealing with the consequences and the guilt (which is a totally new thing for her), trying to overcome what she learned, and finding a way back on her feet. She's been away for a month to sort out her thoughts and her emotions surrounding the whole thing, and while that is still very much a work in progress, she will be returning to her crew's island and the leviathans this month.
🗡️ I have a personal arc planned for her that involves her rebuilding her confidence into something that is less of a glass house and more Real. She is arrogant and proud, but it was more a mask before, so I'd like for that to be more genuine in being sure of herself. while still being a queen of course
🗡️ She'll be looking at repairing relationships and trying to make up for what she did, especially to the crew's island, so that will be going on this month. It will be a rocky road, and she may be a little less amicable for the time being, but she'll try.
🗡️ She'll also be looking into some different hobbies to help with this new journey that she will be on. Will she take up knitting? Jewelry making? Writing? Who knows...
🗡️ That being said, she is going to be very eager to continue her search for the relic that controls the rifts now... for several reasons.

Ranma's doing his usual thing since getting here. Minding his business, getting into fights with people, and look for a way to cure his curse while he's here. Just recently, he's purchased himself a cottage with a basement he's converting into a training hall. He's given people free reign to come over and train and spar any time they'd like to. Other than that, nothing too major for him at the moment.

Ranma himself'll most likely change (to see how the others back home feel) to either a horse, dragon (albeit a tiny one) or if I really wanted to torture him, a cat. About: Sorey is the most sheltered and oblivious seventeen year old who was raised among seraphim (elemental spirits) who basically leaves his village and goes on a journey to try support relations between the seraphim and the humans and to save his world from Malevolence (like a negative energy that can corrupt sort of deal). His bff is a water seraphim named Mikleo and it is honestly a miracle Sorey has survived in this game as long as he has without his water bff. Mikleo grounds him and is basically 99% of Sorey's impulse control with how reckless he can be.

His thing is that he can armatize or basically ala fusion in Dragonball, with the seraphim in his party to help him fight and make use of and control their different elements.

I have his app and more info in his journal if anyone is curious and has yet to get through Zestiria.

Abilities:

Shepherd:

As the Shepherd, I'm going to try umbrella this since it covers a few things:

Armatization - being able to channel the seraphs in the party and use this to their advantage in combat. Combining into one (the seraphs using Sorey's body as a vessel) and thus granting Sorey access to their Seraphic Artes (using their particular element that seraphim is attuned to, out of fire, water, earth or wind) in combat along with their particular Divine Weapon. This does take time initially for him to adjust to in willing it to finish however, but he does eventually come able to revert back to himself at will.

Resonance - Ability to see and hear seraphim, potentially other supernatural beings most other normal humans cannot usually sense, due to his having been brought up among seraphim back home at Elysia. Think of it as like some sort of spiritual sense. Along with this is his ability to sense Malevolence, which is sort of like a dark energy that makes him feel ill, tight in the chest. It's basically a big part of his whole 'purity' thing, really. His resonance is what allows him to become the Shepherd, basically, because he can see and hear Lailah in order to make a pact with her. This pact is what allows him to thus be able to purify the hellions. He can manage animal or plant based hellions fine, but humanized hellions, according to expanded information in the anime, means Sorey takes on their Malevolence.

Pacts - Sorey can make a pact with another human with resonance to take them on as a Squire. A Squire can essentially also assist in purifying hellions and help the Shepherd on their journey, basically. Acting as a support to them along the way and assisting them in carrying out their duties to deal with the hellions. If the Squire has a high enough resonance, such as Rose in the game, they can also then armatize with the seraphim once they have made their pact and been given a True Name by the Shepherd. In Sorey and Rose's case, if something happens to the Shepherd, the Squire can thus make a pact to take on their role in turn too.

- History/Ruins Knowledge - Sorey is really keen on this sort of stuff and grew up wanting to explore ruins and learn about history so this is kind of his Thing. He and Mikleo are all about geeking out over ruins together. So he will easily pick up on this sort of thing in Incensed's setting and all.

- Fighting/Hunting ability - Sorey has a sword and can use a bow when hunting as well, so he can fight/defend himself or go hunting for meat for example if he has to with these basic survival skills.

General: Sorey is part of Cid's crew and is the biggest history nerd so is always up for exploring (maybe finding ruins!!!!) and helping out in general. He is the kind that can't really say no. He is also trying to learn more in general about things with this world and learning about and meeting everyone to work together. Because that helps in not being as clueless and sheltered a country bumpkin.

She will be attending Kaveh (& Alhaitham's) wedding there on the island and I haven't made a lot of other solid plans except getting a special feather and being in Daqiang's presence. About: Daqiang entered the game as a near-emotionless tsundere. His emotions, which had been cut off from him since he was a child, had only begun to return and regrow. In the nearly 8 months he's been in game, his emotions have not only regrown, but have begun to blossom! So of course, he had a panic attack over it and tried to destroy them. It didn't work. He has finally realized that all his hemming and hawing and finding justification for putting off killing his emotions is because he doesn't actually want them dead and he is very angry at the person who killed them in the first place and, unfortunately, has no way of resolving that. So his family, and especially his father, will continue to be a touchy subject.

On the plus side, he is entering his 'curious about emotions, please teach me what these are and how to react to them' phase. He's still a bit of a tsun, because that's just how he is, but he's not going to be as quick to judge others for decisions made due to emotions. Yay for being less of a jerk right out the gate!

PLANS

General: Exploring his new outlook on life with current CR who would notice the change and, for new CR, just getting himself out there as he tries to figure out what things he honestly likes or dislikes rather than basing the merit of something on whether it's useful or not. Someone will definitely have to teach him how to smile on purpose because he's never been taught that kind of thing, only killing and conquering and warfare.

Also! The Raiders of the Lost Arts are getting an ISLAND!

Life In Color I wanted to try and get this in last month, but it didn't happen. I'd like to try again. It seems really interesting and Daqiang is familiar with metaphysical spaces so like, paintings being a portal to a mirror realm where everything looks like a painting is not weird to him.
Spirited Away There's interest here because the way the transformation works is suspiciously similar to a curse he's been told about...
Starships This will be happening on the way to the The Fractured Isle and probably with crew CR, but definitely want to get a little stargazing in and a constellation named after a couple friends~
Gold & Gears He doesn't need the temperature regulation, but he's curious if it will work on some specific people...
Ethereal Emberblooms Orchid is probably going to make him take the plant he stole back, so when he can't get in through the barrier Emet set, he's probably just going to leave it next to it for someone to find... He's also going to continue looking to see if anyone in Fang recognizes the markings on the bodies and when they were last seen alive.
Get Shirty Daqiang is a terrible actor. But he can make himself look like someone else entirely, so he should definitely be roped into ruining someone's reputation while someone else ruins his!
Sea Slug Kaiju Daqiang might be learning how to be a person and wanting to grow and change, but killing is still something he's very good at and sometimes he needs to be allowed to let loose!
Special Investigation Checking out the archives for information on the leviathans and pearls is how he got the lead on the island his crew it taking, so archive research is going to be done!

About:  Rem is a young, friendly woman who grew up in a world in which all as “blessed” to forget the dead. She’s a child soldier, sees nothing wrong with this, and actively reaps souls (in her canon, called “phantoma”) when finished with enemies along the battlefield. She’s a ride-or-die kinda friend, literally, and she can and will kill others (or sacrifice herself) because she’ll give up anything to protect those she loves. SO YEAH ANYWAYS. General:

✤✤✤ Rem has been mostly concerned and preoccupied by her friends post-Garuda event, so she's focusing on them, and helping them, and doing what she can! In the little ways and the big ways too.
✤✤✤ Rem is still looking for relics and especially any relic that can hold souls. She's going to eventually find one (1) via Emet, but that's a plot for next month. In the meantime, she's still looking! Rem promised not to harvest any souls, and so far she's sticking with that promise; however, she now needs to find something to contain the souls she has. Why? Because she visited a dead soul sew witch's garden last month and realized if something happens to her, she needs to be able to put them somewhere safe so a monster doesn't take them from her.
✤✤✤ Rem is practicing psuedo-necromancy... sob... okay not really. But anyway, she can bring the dead back to life via buff, but it takes a lot out of her, and the spell isn't currently at its peak. So she's ~practicing~. If anyone wants to catch her practicing, lemme know

✤✤✤ Archive Research/underwater ruins: Definietly will be interested in this part! Especially the song that the clams sing! In her canon, there's a prophecy written in a similar format, in which she deciphered a part of it wrong. It would be great if she could at least try to put her thinking cap on and puzzle this one out, with or without actual results! Character-growth wise, I'd also like to use this to trigger her own deeper, personal rumination about her world's apocalyptic prophecy, and why it all went wrong. So am totally looking for more research buddies and potentially those who are good at working through apocalyptic prophecies.

About: Princess of the fantasy kingdom of Hyrule which is constantly being threatened or destroyed by the same green-skinned asshole (or sometimes the abstract concept of said-asshole's ceaseless hatred). Zelda grew up under tremendous pressure to awaken her divine powers and save everyone from destruction, but she failed and everyone died. One self-sacrifice and 100 years later, Hyrule is saved (for the moment) and Zelda gets to recover from her trauma and be happy... until she gets sent back in time and to do it again.

Generally, Zelda is a bright and friendly young woman who really, really likes science and has a bad habit of trying to sacrifice herself to save her kingdom. She will get all up in your business and make herself your problem whether you want her to or not.

PLANS

General: Zelda is still pretty new, so I'm mostly focused on settling her in and building some CR. She's discovered that this place is a fucking treasure trove (pun intended) of cool technology and ancient ruins and she's basically tripping over herself to get in on that.

This month, Zelda is scheduled to have a run in with her archnemesis Ganondorf and it's gonna be a bad time. In the long term, I've got dick and all planned. Waiting to see how things go with her before committing to anything like a crew.

Miriam's a young woman who's seen and been through some shit, but hasn't lost her kindness or sense of justice. Sure, she might be full of demonic rocks, but she's using that power to do good things. She wants to be helpful and prove that she's still human, let her be helpful!!

Those roses and petals on her aren't tattoos; they're part of a cursed crystal that lets Miriam use said phenomenal demonic power, but will eventually turn her into a crystal statue and kill her, or corrupt her mind and delete her sense of self and free will. Either or. The curse's spread is currently halted, but using her power too much or absorbing too many Shards (fragments of a demon's power) at once could cause it to start advancing again. So Miriam's in a constant balancing act of needing to use her powers to best help others but not so much that she crystalizes. No pressure.

Abilities: For canon ones, she's got all the ridiculously OP abilities of an endgame Castlevania protagonist—which she's usually fairly mindful about using, with such severe consequences for their overuse. She can do so much shit, though.

PLANS

General: Miriam's helpful nature tends to lead her to volunteering herself everywhere, which would be an easy way for her to meet people. Someone to help remind her to take a break occasionally would also be welcome.

While she didn't have a great time under the care of the Alchemist's Guild (they kind of grafted her with the crystal bullshit to use her as a reagent for a massive demon summoning ritual), she doesn't hold grudges against alchemists in general; one of her friends and her father figure were alchemists too. She's familiar with how her world's version of it works, and she'd be interested in talking to others with different systems too.

MANTA Board: As always, Miriam's available to protect squishier or noncombatant characters if they need to go someone dangerous.

Specific ideas:
Spirited Away—Miriam's bird tattoo is suddenly a lot more meaningful now! She's gonna be turning into a falcon for an hour. She'll be a fairly chill bird, at least until a seagull realizes Miriam's now in the same weight class as them. She'll probably be fairly mortified if there were witnesses to her fighting with ornery sea birds (so clearly this should happen). But, hey, free case of magic beer for the bar?
Sea Wolf's Den—Of course she'll show up here she's a fighting things character. Anyone want to team up?

Event: I'm waffling on top leveling this time! Miriam could be recruited for a wedding rescue mission, though. Fun fact: she is strong enough to princess carry someone about the same size as her.

CR Dreams: Yes.

Actual answer: I'd love for her to make deep enough connections with people she can actually address the all the issues she's left unaddressed, from the deaths of her friends to her curse and the existential humanity questions it reflects.

Miriam has also joined the Avalanche crew recently! She's fairly outgoing, and eager to show that she can be helpful.
