SAIL WITH ME: JUNE 2024

An abbreviated version of our CR Workship! Same concept, just a lot smaller. If you have multiple characters, make an individual toplevel for yourself with your player info and comment to it with each character separately.

We also include a designated toplevel for Crew Recruitment where players can make OOC ad posts for others to either join or request to join or make a crew. This is all for OOC coordination, so you'll have to figure out how it works ICly.

About: Prince Joshua Rosfield of Rosaria. First of his name. The Unburnt. The Prince That Was Promised. Breaker of Chains. Slayer of Lies. Prince of Fire. The Phoenix. Etc etc.

Joshua is a long-lost prince who's seeking to find the truth in his world, achieve freedom, and seek a better future for all. He is studious, determined, gentle, well-spoken, chivalrous and book-smart. He is also the Phoenix Dominant, the summon, which means he commands the ability to call upon his Eikon at any time and cannot be burned by fire. He's pretty much a walking spoiler for the game so please check out my application or his wikipedia for more on his story and abilities. Also if you would like for me to avoid spoilers please let me know here!

General:

📌 Joshua is recovering from the recent Garuda Incident in which in inadvertently caused. He suffered massive darkness-based burns on his body and has been in the care of his crew until he can fully recover from his injuries and restore his aether.

📌 He recently revealed to his crew that his harbouring the dark entity Ultima in his heart. Now they are looking into a way for them to delete Ultima from him for good. While Joshua thinks he may die in his endeavour, the crew is hoping to find a way for him to survive it.

📌 As a side, Joshua has recently lost his partner Dion Lesage. While he will be terribly sad and hurt that he is gone he will be focusing on his task of defeating Ultima. Despite that, I wouldn’t mind if anyone might be interested in a very slow burn romance with him in the future…

📌 Joshua is still handling the massive group for Book Club. He’ll more than likely have a post about that soon.

MANTA Board:

📌 Starships, chart some stars with him. He’ll be happy with the fresh air and beautiful stars.

📌 Gold & Hears, he would be very interested in how the accessories work. And he’ll try them on as well. Just easy quests for Joshua this month.

About: Zack is a former soldier turn runaway who has been through a lot of shit and really needs to find a break in his life. But he is a workaholic and extremely optimistic and tries to see the world past the bitterness that he's often faced with. He's heroic, easy-going, friendly, protective, and one hell of a fighter. He quickly gets along with others and often encourages them to do their best and can often be seen as having a very puppy-like personality. He might not be the smartest guy around but boy does he have spirit.

PLANS

General:

🐺 Zack will be spending most of the month on quests and catching up with cr. No more drinking for him this month even if he can still be found on the Seventh Heaven helping Tifa and Cloud with the bar.

🐺 He is recovering from a broken shoulder from fighting Garuda. It should be mostly healed by the end of the month.

MANTA Board:

🐺 The Sea Wolf’s Den, Zack will be participating near the end of the month and will be using this as a way to blow off some steam and frustrations. Also to test how well his shoulder has healed. Come fight him fist-to-fist.

🐺 Starships, do some stargazing with him. This will most likely be locked to close cr and crewmates only.

🐺 Spirited Away, Cannonly, Zack’s spirit animal is a wolf. So if he falls into the pool be prepared to find him as a very friendly oversized wolf. He could probably give Torgal a run for his money.

Event:

🐺 Zack will have a top level + manta board quests but let me know if you want a closed thread with him!

Character: Izuku Midoriya
Canon: My Hero Academia, post manga chapter 327
Armada: Paladin

About: Izuku is the main protagonist of the anime, a boy born without a quirk or meta-ability in a society where most people are born with them. He is later granted a quirk by his idol and mentor All Might and manages to make it into a prestigious Hero School to become the best hero that ever was. He's friendly, smart, determined, focused and incredibly strong! But he can also be nervous, shy, overly reckless and prone to mumbling. He's just a big soft nerd, please be his friend and let him talk about nerdy things.

PLANS

General:

🥦 Izuku is dealing with a crew that keeps getting hurt! Roxas was badly injured in the Garuda Incident, Toge lost an arm and Katsuki came back from a violent canon update that had his face damaged. So he will be spending most of his month trying to help them all recover.

🥦 He will be working harder on his alchemy skills and dabble in some alchemy healing properties since there’s no healer on their crew.

🥦 Working hard at quests and patrolling as usual. He’ll be pretty concerned that people are saying the paladins are corrupt once again.

🥦 He will be getting a canon update near the end of the month.

MANTA Board:

🥦 Ethereal Emberblooms, Izuku will be helping patrol and guard the flower field. He’ll also be adamant that this is not the cause of a corrupt paladin.

🥦 Book Bites, He’ll help clean out the archives! And try and capture the little creature eatings the books too!

CHARACTER INFO

Character: Emet-Selch
Canon: Post-Shadowbringers (5.0) and early on into Endwalker (6.0)

About: Short of the actual gods, Emet-Selch is one of the most powerful adversaries the Warrior of Light faces in FF14. To the average mortal/human, he WOULD be considered one - however, he considers himself a regular man and he lives and dies the same way (even if said life is practically indefinite). Amongst his own people, he was known as a powerful and competent mage with particularly sharp Soulsight: the ability to perceive things at the aetherial level.

As an individual, he's rather solitary and standoffish and doesn't make friends easily. But he cares more than he lets on.

Abilities: As Emet-Selch doesn't have access to Creation magicks here in Escordvi, he's simply just a powerful mage. This ranges from the typical elemental spells to healing spells to more esoteric things like aether-imbued weapon arts. He can also transform into a ~~boss form~~ second form, but here it's restricted by intense emotion.

- Sea Wolf's Den - genuinely considering this to continue the hilarity of Emet gathering 'sexy' items that he has either find a use for or give away
- Gold & Gears - well, Emet already has a pierced ear so naturally he's going to be wearing an earring (yes, just one because he's Like That)
- Buccaneer Birdnapping (Paladin) - he's going to yell THAL'S BALLS at the top of his voice

I'm interested in the special investigation or in Emet getting roped into Corsair quest chaos as well. His crew have found an island base for themselves which he might think has some relevance to the strange rhyme.

Event: Since Emet has no stake or investment in romance, I have no plans for the event unless someone wants to drag him into their shenanigans as a third party.

CR Dreams: Grumpy old man needs more friends or enemies etc. He's trying to live up to the spirit of his old friend.

About: Toge is a Jujutsu Sorcerer and has been destined for his fate since birth. He has the power of cursed speech, where vocalizing influences those around him. He speaks in a series of safe words, or through text. He's functionally mute and has an amputated left arm. That's new.

General:

Toge is just about recovered as he's gonna get from his trip home. He's going to be looking to continue connecting to people, he's a friendly person at heart.

Spirited Away: His spirit animal is a racoon, and he's definitely going to make a fluffy, three pawed, adorable creature.

Starships: Sounds like fun, not sure if he'll find anything but he can help chart the stars maybe.

The Sea Wolf's Den: Don't count Toge out yet - he's going to come and fight and he intends to win.

Gold & Gears: Should be fun showing off jewelry.

Dead Kraken Island: Thanks to a discussion with Sidestep, he definitely wants to go and destroy everything here. It's probably the most Corsair thing he can do.
