About: Benedikta is a woman who is all about her survival and self-preservation first and foremost. Having climbed out of the depths of a cruel and terrible youth, she ascended to a place of power within the kingdom of Waloed after being rescued, both because of her talents in subterfuge and swordplay, as well as awakening as the Warden of the Wind, the Dominant of Garuda. She is the Commander of Waloed's Elite Intelligencers, and she is fiercely loyal to her king.

However, not everything is as it seems to her. She is loyal, yes, but to a fault, and part of it is because she is stung by the bitter bite of betrayal. She is ruthless, unkind, only cares about her own skin, has done a lot of bad things, and resents the world for what it has done to her. Deep down, however, she is merely a woman who has looked for love and validation all her life, a need to be useful not to be discarded again, but she finds it in all the wrong places.

General: Well... Last month sure was A Month for her.

🗡️ I have a log planned for post-Garuda follow ups, but I haven't decided if I am going to leave it to CR/crewmates or if it will be open yet, though. Hoping to get it up this weekend.
🗡️ Having primed into Garuda last month and wreaking a ton of havoc after she learned some Very Bad news about life back in canon that she was (very rightfully) upset about, Benedikta is now trying to come to terms with what she heard. Her journey from here on out will be dealing with the consequences and the guilt (which is a totally new thing for her), trying to overcome what she learned, and finding a way back on her feet. She's been away for a month to sort out her thoughts and her emotions surrounding the whole thing, and while that is still very much a work in progress, she will be returning to her crew's island and the leviathans this month.
🗡️ I have a personal arc planned for her that involves her rebuilding her confidence into something that is less of a glass house and more Real. She is arrogant and proud, but it was more a mask before, so I'd like for that to be more genuine in being sure of herself. while still being a queen of course
🗡️ She'll be looking at repairing relationships and trying to make up for what she did, especially to the crew's island, so that will be going on this month. It will be a rocky road, and she may be a little less amicable for the time being, but she'll try.
🗡️ She'll also be looking into some different hobbies to help with this new journey that she will be on. Will she take up knitting? Jewelry making? Writing? Who knows...
🗡️ That being said, she is going to be very eager to continue her search for the relic that controls the rifts now... for several reasons.
🗡️ Speaking of searching, now that she has been afflicted with the petrification curse that all Dominants eventually suffer from on her back, she will be trying to find a cure for that, too.
🗡️ Just want to give a heads up that, outside of her crew, she will not take kindly to accusations or discussions about what happened, including people pointing out that she is Garuda, and prodding her with questions about it. Characters are free to do so, but I just wanted to put a disclaimer here that unless close CR has been established and/or she has a reason to discuss, she will very likely bite back.

MANTA Board:

🗡️ Sea Wolf's Den: seems like the perfect place for her to let out some of that anger she's been feeling!
🗡️ The Great Escape: also another perfect place for her to blow off some steam.
🗡️ Special Investigation: this is right up her alley and she is very interested in finding that relic for the rifts. She'd be interested any of the three options.

Event: Just planning on tagging around, if at all depending on my plate. I do have bridal plans for her already, though. 👀
