Our CR Meme CR Workship is where players can drop all the cool info for their characters and try to plot with others to continue existing or create new CR. Be sure to look over the MANTA Board as well as current events if you'd like to include them in your post.
To help coordinate specific plots for players, we have a few designated toplevels that can be used to highlight particular plots, scenarios, etc. These can be useful for players who may not want to write a full comment but have ideas. Players who do write full CR comments can still use these toplevels and link their comment if you have your ideas in there instead.
Side Plotting. This is for any personal plots or MANTA Board quests that require more coordination, perhaps to bring about a resolution or make an important discovery of some kind. Like with the Event toplevel, this is NOT for generic plotting that would fit a general meme comment.

- This month there will be a mini log featuring the Festival of the Whales that will go up on Saturday, May 9th. It is in commemoration of the tragedy that occurred last year where whales were hunted, mutilated, and crystalized along with other people who were abducted. It is also in hopes to appease the leviathan, Enysos.
- Strange dark water is spreading throughout the ocean that is not harming anything, per se, however it is making the marine life more hostile. There is also a giant catfish that will emerge near the end of the festival and must be stopped.
- Meanwhile, the MANTA Board is filled with strange quests made by the "Namazu."

Canon: Patch-6.2 Update (IE, he's been to Nod Krai and is aware of some surface shenanigans)

About: Administrator (or Warden) of the Fortress of Meropide. Even though he's technically a prison warden, he's normally easy-going and gets along with people, inviting them to take a moment and share some tea with him. He has some history, some scars that go with that history mentally and physically, but he doesn't find it all that necessary to talk about. As long as everyone's getting along, there's no problem.

Abilities: In Genshin terms, Wriothesley is a Cryo Unit - that is, he's a Vision holder that wields Ice. His preferred method of wielding his abilities is through a catalyst weapon and channeling the elemental energy into his fists, or powering up his gloves to further enhance his own strength at the minor cost of health (though, he can heal himself). Outside of in-game combat, Wriothesley does know how to wield ice in other ways, but he tends not to use them unless necessary, like blocking bullets.
He is interested in exploring more in regards to wielding his ice and manipulating it in other ways, using it in more defensive purposes (thicker ice walls, frost shields, etc.) as well as offensive. He hasn't gotten a second tattoo yet, but it's in consideration.

Event: Dark Water - While all for festivities, Wriothesley's focus on raising his new pengi right means he'll come in contact with dark water. That is... not good cause of events in his own Story Quest, it'll feel similar. Fortunately, his pengi will be unharmed, but he'll need to be purified at some point before he can't control himself anymore.
CR Dreams: Open to any and all! Wriothesley has a weird ability to get along with most folks... unless you're a feisty cat magician wearing red and black. It's complicated.

Canon: Armageddon - Post-Chapter 2 Fight
Armada: Corsair
About: The 'Shadow Knight' once loyal to the Vanir turned basically mercenary, Oswald's known as being a ruthless killer that has brought many Aesir (and others) to their deaths. Though quiet, he's often thinking to himself or acting on his own, most often in defiance of Death attempting to claim his soul since he was blood contracted to the Netherworld. And when he is not killing things, he's keeps to himself unless prompted... or unless it's someone he knows/needs to engage in conversation. He's getting better about socializing. Holding back in combat... it's a work in progress.

Abilities: Oswald uses dark magic here and in canon. Lots of dark fire, moving around in the shadows, taking on a berserk form, and sometimes trapping souls. He's getting better at using his magic to debilitate and hinder opponents since a lot of people don't just like the idea of him killing... even if he's been assassinating things in the background. What people don't know is happen is fine, right?

Canon: Post-Epilogue Trauma Team

About: Rosalia is a very sweet girl that grew up isolated from the world, and it wasn't for her safety. Most of her childhood was being bullied in an orphanage until a Professor at a nearby college noticed she had some unique properties in her blood and adopted her. She goes through life inside with a smile, enduring tests that can really hurt, but she doesn't mind. Because one day, she'll be able to go outside and make friends.
Of course... she meets with a tragic fate instead.

Abilities: Rosalia is a normal human... that has a deadly virus in her body. It's not magical in any sense, but it is really dangerous to anyone not Rosalia if they happen to get infected. I've been meaning to write a permissions post regarding, but since she doesn't intend to get people sick... just ask if you intend on weaponizing her virus instead haha.
In Escordvi, Rosalia has green magic. She uses it mainly to grow flowers, but she realizes she can heal with it too by using said flowers though she still needs to practice with it. Also, she can cure her virus if someone gets infected, but it takes a lot of energy.

About: Roxas is the Nobody of Sora, protagonist of Kingdom Hearts. He is essentially the shell left behind when someone looses their Heart and becomes a Heartless. Though, thanks to the shenanigans of the series that require a powerpoint or a youtube essay to explain, he is able to exist as his own person, and is at a point where he's doing that. He probably has a Heart now, but his own relationship to it dubious at best. He doesn't think too much about it. He probably should.
Personality-wise, Roxas is basically Sora on Mute. He's a little quieter, a little more thoughtful but no less loyal to his friends and determined to help or stand up against people who would try to cast the Worlds into Darkness. He probably comes off as too serious to start but it's easy to break through that veneer
Abilities: Roxas has two keyblades and a wide array of magic (Fire, Ice, Thunder, Aero, Cure)
PLANS
-So Roxas is slowly coming out of being a Sad Boy. Figuring things out and learning how to move forward. Probably still a bit sad though. Maybe he needs to pick up a new weapon or hobby.
-Roxas got mixed up in Emet-Selch's Evil Time, so that's probably going to have Consequences. Still need to figure out what's happening there.
-He'll be a bit more interested in Nilatast now that it's not at the bottom of the ocean and might be more inclined to explore.
MANTA Board:
-Big Bear! Roxas is part of the Plus Ultra Crew and definitely holds a grudge against that Bear (It tried to eat one of the island moogles!). He'll be eager to help out
Event: I will likely be tagging out. Roxas was very involved with the Whale Thing so he'll definitely be at the festival. He still has the scars from where the crystals grew on his arms. So if there's some way he can help, he will.
CR Dreams: Roxas always needs friends and mentor figure types! He's good for being a rival or just trying to help.

About: Flynn is the childhood best friend/narrative foil of the game's protagonist, Yuri Lowell. He's a capital K Knight, embodying everything about chivalry and goodness and is just a really good guy. Who is also a workaholic and stringent rule follower and really should probably learn how to take a vacation. Please help this guy learn to lighten up?
Abilities: Flynn is pretty good with a sword and shield and has a decent collection of (most physical) artes.
I am not the best at describing them because my video game strategy is button mashing and hitting things until I win, which does not lend itself to elegant prose or what Flynn is actually capable of.
tl;dr he's good at fighting stuff but not so good at the magic bits.

-So Flynn is still a bit new but settling in nicely. He wants to continue learning about the Paladins as an organization and then he's probably going to have Suggestions.
-Definitely overworking himself. He can probably be found wandering late at night and just, cramming his head full of knowledge. He needs to learn how to stop.
-Possibly looking at having an open log for Flynn, get him going on some MANTA board tasks. Overdo it, somehow.
-He did fight Emet-Selch as well, and that probably ended poorly.

About: Grog is a big, dumb himbo who gets really, really angry and channels that rage into fighting his enemies. Back home, he and his friends fight to save their world from the forces of evil, whether that's greedy dragons bent on world domination, or an undead lich trying to turn himself into a god. He likes drinking, fighting, and visiting the nearest "house of lady favors." He's also functionally illiterate, and can only read words of up to 4-5 letters.
Abilities: All of Grog's canon abilities boil down to being Very Good At Fighting because of how angry he is. He also has magic weapons and gear, including gauntlets that let him double in size (which, considering he's already 8'7", is pretty impressive).

About: Lio comes from the weird little studio trigger movie about a firefighter and a firestarter trying to save the world. Lio being the second one. He can be a little prickly on the outside. Understandable because literal genocide was happening to him and people like him. But overall, it's not too hard to get on his good side anymore. He just cares a lot about things like justice, freedom and helping others to live their best lives where they can be themselves.
Abilities: Lio lost his fire-bending powers but used a tattoo to regain a similar form of them. He'll probably be feeling some kind of way about that for spoiler reasons but has adapted pretty well in the tdm. One thing I'd love for him to develop is figuring out if he can make fire healing (aka Burnish CPR) work for anyone other than himself. Because saving and protecting people is just a big part of who he is.

Event: I was following the Nilatast plot pretty closely when I played Riju so I'd love to jump back into that. He'll be found at both the festival and restoration.
CR Dreams: Friends in all shapes and sizes to start. He's coming off a stint where he was kind of a terrible loner and is only just figuring out what it means to have real relationships again so getting thrown into a jamjar is sure to disrupt some of that progress.

Whether or not she's a real girl is a constant struggle to remember. Namine used her powers for memory wiping bad times in a card game. She's actually a really good girl but Organization 13 sucks and used her to use other people. At her heart she just wants to help, make up for the pain she's caused, learn how to use her powers maybe, and learn more about drawing and being a real girl.
Abilities: Natural abilities include being a dues ex machina and whatever Nomura wants, vaguely manipulation of memories. Has learned water magic and creating water clones now! I would really like her to be able to show someone that =(

Now she exists in a state of massive depression over accidentally fucking up the world when all she wanted to do was be free.
Abilities: Arkady can do ...a lot. She can see the future, read minds, see the past, telekinesis, do weather things, and teleport herself. Maybe someday I'll unlock her ability to teleport with others. Who knows.

That's about all that can be said without massive Spoilers upon SpoilersShe's very focused on learning, research, exploration, but despite how serious she may seem she does have a certain sense of wonder and whimsy inside of her. She previously cut off all her friends because Emotions Are Hard and semi-regrets that. Granted she also got betrayed like 14 different times by Someone so she's not entirely keen on trust.
Abilities:
Lune has insane elemental magic and healing magic. She can heal, cleanse, control water, ice, lightning, fire, and allegedly earth but who uses that really?

Exploring the secrets of this place, particularly anything related to the ancients and portals. Lune wants to stay here because of spoiler reasons. She also wants to be able to bring her friends here and keep them here. So she will be interested in anything to do with that.

Lune has a lot and I mean like a LOT of trauma that she's currently keeping all to herself and pretending doesn't exist. I'd like to have her talk about that to someone. I love action threads and the just general investigation stuff, but I would like to do some deeper CR work with the character. Exploring her attempts at denial by pretending like she can still fix things and acceptance of this may be all she has would be interesting!
Also someone ask about her sad songs and what they're about. She is a nerd cold girl out here writing some sad ass songs that she preforms sometimes at taverns.

About: Cutest blue nosed reindeer doctor. He's about toddler sized in his usual smaller form but does have other transformations. Has a dream to be the Best Doctor Ever to be able to treat any disease because Trauma regarding his backstory and being unable to cure his first mentor figure who took him in. He is the biggest tsun regarding compliments, fails at hiding and adores sweets. Also getting better about his insecurities about his appearance, but it's hard when he's been shunned and bullied for it since he ate the Devil Fruit and changed from being a regular reindeer.
Also. Cannot swim because Devil Fruit user. So that's. Fun, when he's. You know. On a ship most of the time.....!!
Abilities:
Intelligence - Since he ate the Human Human Fruit, he's very smart (for a reindeer and in general).
Transformations - He can transform into a few different options depending on the situation/need, basically.
- communication with animals, since he is one.
- Medical knowledge/expertise - He's the Straw Hat's doctor back home, and the resident doctor on Zelda's ship as well. He can treat various illnesses and diseases/injuries and has performed surgery when necessary.

About: He's kinda based around the Sultan from Aladdin in his personality/appearance being rather oblivious and excitable. Really, he just wants to have fun!! Feasts, music, parades and dancing are his favourite things! And not focus on the impact of his family's wealth (poisoning, kidnapping and assassination attempts) has had on him. He's the heir to the Asim family of the Scalding Sands, and has around thirty??? siblings. And has a magic carpet, come let him fly you around on it, guys! It's so much fun!!
He goes to Night Raven College (based on seven of the Disney Villains where the characters are in seven different houses. There's also Royal Sword Academy based on the opposite with the Heroes.) to learn magic after his servant/bff Jamil goes there and he follows along. He loves flying on his broom, is a member of the pop music club where he plays the drums, and is always inviting friends over for a party/feast, any excuse to have fun! His signature spell is Oasis Maker, which basically means he can create/summon water for very little magic in exchange. Not as useful when most places have running tap water on demand, but for those that don't, very lucrative and valuable.
It's kinda impossible to talk about Kalim without Jamil because they are so intertwined, but. Basically, Jamil is his servant he grew up with and Jamil's family have served the Asim's forever, so of course, he was put to work to support Kalim. Kalim was oblivious to the pressure and resentment this put on Jamil and genuinely considered them to be best friends, and still does, even if there's work to do in resolving things in the aftermath of Jamil kinda snapping about it all in book four. He's used to Jamil doing more or less everything for him, especially taking care of his meals, because Kalim has dealt with being poisoned in the past. Kalim literally only eats food Jamil makes for him back home. So that's generally going to be an adjustment as he learns to be more independent here! Help him learn some very basic tasks everyone will question how he doesn't already know to do, please??? I apologize for how absolutely hopeless this boy will be initially......!!

- Oasis Maker, his specific signature spell lets him create water.
- Forgiveness/bleeding heart/generosity?? Does that count as one??? He's such the odd one out in this school, I swear.

About: Sherlock is a2325 year oldpretty, pathetic, babygirlVictorian still very much learning how to be a consulting detective. He's more emotional than the average Holmes and. is. trying. his. best. He hasn't gone on any of the cases he's known for yet. His first adventure with John Watson is chasing a Cthulhu cult across the world. Now, he's stuck here despite Cthulhu trauma, getting seasick, and being majorly aquaphobic and thalassophobicAbilities:

4th Walling Sherlock is okay.
His canon does it to him already by referencing other adaptations along with ACD canon, Frogwares' other Holmes continuity, and The Sinking City. While in Escordvi, he's learned about the ACD books, met a blond Mycroft from yet another adaptation, and met a girl who could call upon the powers of another Mycroft. He believes his bestie, Shikanoin Heizou, is some alternate like him as well. So if your character knows of Sherlock Holmes, no need to hide the fact, just remember he's baby compared to default ACD Holmesno subject
... but hey, he can swim around with Éclair in the baby pool.
