Our CR Meme CR Workship is where players can drop all the cool info for their characters and try to plot with others to continue existing or create new CR. Be sure to look over the MANTA Board as well as current events if you'd like to include them in your post.
We also include a designated toplevel for Crew Recruitment where players can make OOC ad posts for others to either join or request to join or make a crew. This is all for OOC coordination, so you'll have to figure out how it works ICly.
If you have multiple characters, make an individual toplevel for yourself with your player info and comment to it with each character separately.

About: Axel is essentially a Nobody in rehabilitation. Nobodies, or 'beings without hearts', are approximations of people unable to experience emotion. While no one would ever guess with his friendly and outgoing facade, Org XIII members believe that without a heart or purpose they are destined to vanish from existence.
Yet Axel has found himself in just that exact situation. Without the Organization he is free of responsibility, but can living just for the sake of living really be enough to keep him on this world? Axel is grateful to have this 'extended vacation' but without a goal, he can't help but get aimless, reckless and jump into any opportunity without missions to fill his day. He is aware there is a future where he 'joins the good guys,' with Roxas already alive and complete here however, he just doesn't see how he fits in. Lea had a heart to guide him for that... Axel does not.
He is far from 'unhappy' of course! Surrounded by those who can awaken some feeling in him. Given enough time to build his bonds with others and live his life, it is possible for Axel to begin 'regaining' a heart or at least strengthen what little emotional capability he already has, but so far, no one has yet to bring up the concept enough for him to act on it in earnest...
Abilities: Axel has fire, he can get very creative using it along with his two throwing weapons though his most useful technique is his ability to open dark corridors (portals of darkness) to teleport and get around. They're good in a fight but also perfect for leaving a conversation after a cryptic one liner.
PLANS
Currently Axel is still discovering his new independence and keeping a watchful eye on every keyblade wielder that shows up. Sora potentially captaining the ship he is already freeloading on will only make that easier.

But I was also curious about doing some spywork for the House that Watches if I am not overwhelmed by threads. Axel needs to get the Corsairs off his back for not returning their investment in him yet, this could be a good chance.
Event: As a Corsair who pals around with Paladins, this event will be the first time Axel sees negative repercussions for that. The plan is to force him to the desert for the majority of the event and potentially with a little help from a certain someone, attempt to later swap places and meet up with/rescue any friends in Tundra towards the end of the event.
I'll be top leveling; Specifically I'm interested in:
Face your Fears: You think I'm not going to take the prompt with a Kingdom Hearts title? Axel was fairly immune to the emotional effects of the Farplane but I think the Colliseum is the perfect chance to let him notice aspects of this world are beginning to stir something in him. For better or for worse. Unfortunately, with almost all his CR being in Tundra, Axel might have to suffer through it alone...
Exploration! Axel is not immune to curiosity, especially after helping investigate the constellations to begin with. I'd love to help dig up lore with someone. He could also do with an extra feather in his cap for the Corsairs if he doesn't end up doing any Manta board spywork.
CR opportunities:
Parental help? Axel will have his hands full being #TeamBabysitter to a boat of keyblade teens, but he's not that much of an adult himself and could probably use some guidance on actual life skills beyond keeping them from falling into despair and assassinating threats. Teach him to cook or sew or something useful; he never had much chance to care for himself let alone others before.
Espionage Axel may be 'one of the good guys' now, but his talents do still lie in espionage. Thanks to Reno making waves as a 'red head in black with a reputation' Axel might return to a bit of spy work. He'll try to keep actual assassination off the table with Sora around, but gathering intel by sneaking around and getting others to spill their secrets is what he does best and he could use a paycheck...
CR HE is good for:
If you're shy or stoic: Axel will poke and prod to get a reaction. He won't be cruel about it, but when you're emotionally dead inside, getting people to respond or be entertaining in some way is the next best thing!
Banter: the man's a chatterbox, skilled at holding a conversation on just about anything-- except himself. He can absolutely play the part of a gossip if you fuel him.
Empaths/those who sense darkness/hearts ect; Xehanort has already noticed Axel feels wrong when he tries to get a read on him; I'm always happy to drop mysterious hints that something is off about this dude.
