PLAYER INTRO: SEPTEMBER 2023

YO HO AND AHOY EVERYONE! This post is our catchall gathering place for all new and old players to meet and greet. Introduce yourself and the character you're bringing in, giving us whatever info you feel comfortable with! Don't forget to join the Discord server if you haven't already! The invite code will be in the app notice.

The CR Workship is also available for you to post into or check out and try to plot with others on there. Be sure to read our recent Captain's Log for any important announcements, and hop into our Maiden Voyage opening log! The Quest Board can also be found there.

Hello lovelies! I am Phennoix or Campa, and I am brining in Fenris from Dragon Age.

Fenris will be joining the Corsairs! Best known as a mage hater and a slaver killer, Fenris is a complicated elf covered in lyrium markings who wields a great sword about the same size as himself. Prickly, broody, grumpy, and world weary, but often holds a veneer of calm for the most part. Fenris can come across as prideful, unfriendly, blunt, and harsh, but he can also apologize for his unkindness when undeserved and even make very sarcastic and dry jokes. He comes with some CWs in general due to his backstory, these include Slavery, Murder, Amnesia, Body Modification, and Trauma related to being a slave. I am able to skirt around them but if you want to get to know him these are likely to eventually come up.

Hello! Hi!!!

Helloooooo I'm Raini and I have this bratty child, Shallan Davar, from my fave high fantasy bookseries, The Stormlight Archive! I'm currently in waiting for book 5 hell, but until then, she'll be sassing her way into a corsair ship... somehow.

Shallan here can draw things near perfect— she has a photographic memory and things that are drawn can be lifelike. Which, is a great thing for her specifically, as her Radiant order is a Lightweaver, someone who can create illusions from what she draws! She'd be great for a spymaster, as that's what she does back home as well. Those illusions can be on herself, other people, or even attached to things to be used.

She does suffer from something similar to DID, and at the moment has at least two(?) personas. One is at least in hiding, but who knows what may draw her out. The other does change Shallan's appearance with lighter blonde hair, a little taller perhaps, and she has a very regal air. Please Look Forward To It. These do come about because of some, uh, traumatic backstory that has some content warnings in it, but Shallan is nice! When she's not being insufferable and having Foot-In-Mouth Disease. c:

During the hot food test, Shallan has a nice memory of Kotori enjoying her first bite... that's gonna be a drawin' for her. :)

/slides in here ridiculously late. YO! Uh, my name is Aisu and I'm bringing in this arrogant redheaded Turk from Final Fantasy VII known as Reno. He's the corporate gangster of Shinra Electric Power Company who is loyal to a fault and ready for some thrills. He will be annoying and antagonistic shaped if not quite a full out villain. He's taken from OG timeline because that's just what I went with and is from after Advent Children. I do include the novels and random mobile/handheld games for Turk continuity as well.

Because he's a problematic child that also thinks he's doing the right thing when in fact he's just doing awful black listed government things for horrible people in power--Reno is actually coming in as a Paladin. Fully expect him to be an ass about it. He will be the kind of law enforcing prick that gets on everyone's nerves and does a lot of shady shit on the side. Because that's what a Turk be, yo.

Look, I'm bad at intros and whatnot but here's some random facts: FFVII is one of my all-time favorite games, I like anime and reading books when I find the time, and I recently got into the Malevolent audio drama so prepare for me rambling about that constantly if you end up adding/friending me anywhere. And also canon smashing Malevolent and the Last Case of Benedict Fox together because that was my other recent obsession that got me into finally looking up Malevolent. Shhh I love eldritch horrors, okay. Okay.

Ummmm... I am literally aisuyoukai at everywhere ever if you wanna check me out. I mostly hang out on plurk, but if you wanna poke me at discord that's cool, too, just as a general note I don't spend much time there unless asked to get on for someone or if I randomly remember that it exists and go catch up on servers. Hah. Oh, yeah. I'm CST but do weird hours sometimes and please backtag with me forever because adulting is hard and tiring and omg how did we all get so old idefk please make it stop.
