SAIL WITH ME: FEBRUARY 2024

An abbreviated version of our CR Workship! Same concept, just a lot smaller. If you have multiple characters, make an individual toplevel for yourself with your player info and comment to it with each character separately.

We also include a designated toplevel for Crew Recruitment where players can make OOC ad posts for others to either join or request to join or make a crew. This is all for OOC coordination, so you'll have to figure out how it works ICly.

About: Benedikta Harman is a woman who is all about her survival and self-preservation first and foremost. Having climbed out of the depths of a cruel and terrible youth, she ascended to a place of power within the Kingdom of Waloed after being rescued, both by way of her talents in subterfuge and swordplay, and awakening as the Warden of the Wind, the Dominant of the Eikon, Garuda, which allows her to wield powerful wind magic. She is the Commander of Waloed's Elite Intelligencers, and is fiercely loyal to King Barnabas.

However, not everything is as it seems with her. She is loyal, yes, but to a fault, and is stung by the bitter bite of betrayal. She is ruthless, unkind, only cares about her own skin, and resents the world for what it has done to her. But deep down, who she really is is a woman who has looked and continues to find love and validation in all the wrong places...

In short: she's a mess. :)

PLANS

General: I am suffering a bit of burnout and plan on hiatusing during March, so I'll be keeping it to a few closed threads/tagouts this month. But I'm still open to plotting!

• Still working on that "freedom" thing. After living in servitude her whole life, she doesn't understand what it's like to live on her own terms, for herself, so she's going to be trying to reconcile with that in a number of ways. Basically, Benedikta is on a journey of "finding herself", so to speak.
  
• She has also learned that anyone can be sent back at any time, so while Cid is working to find the relic that could possibly keep them here, Benedikta is trying to find a way to permanently close the rifts. Forever. So that no one can leave. Ever. (Obviously this will not work, but that doesn't mean she's not going to try!)
  
• Garuda plot coming in May, so please keep an eye out for that! Especially if you have CR with her...
  
• Still want her to steal a ship with someone and then leave them on an island. Also putting a bounty on someone's head for pissing her off would be fun!

MANTA Board:

• There's No Place Like Gnome: I just need her to get incredibly angry about these gnomes.
  
• Magitek Barrier Stress Test: Something to let off a little bit of steam? Count her in.
  
• Spelling Me Softly: LMAO the idea of someone turning her into a sheep... but she would also turn you into a sheep if anyone needs that.
  
• Apple for an Eye: Self-explanatory. She's probably got pretty good aim but not great, and she'd just have fun messing with people...
  
• Who Let the Dogs Out: Did someone say stealing?
  
• Mystery of the Fire Horse: she has a personal vendetta against this one!

Event: Not much here for her so far. She's getting dragonnapped and will be raiding the castle, so running into people there is an option! Mostly going to be castle raiding, but I'm going to wait until event goes up to decide.

About: Tifa is the "Mom Friend" if there ever was one. She is a kind, empathetic, patient, protective soul who is always looking out for others. Sociable and friendly as she can be, she's much more reserved than she appears—she never wears her heart on her sleeve and keeps her emotions close, and prefers to talk about anything but herself. But don't let her shy, timid exterior fool you. She is a savvy business woman who ran a bar and can kick a lot of ass, too.

Internally, Tifa carries a lot of grief and has had plenty losses in life, is incredibly self-critical, and it's because of this that she is always pushing herself to do better. She'll always try to think things through first and put on a smile for others, but deep down beneath all of that is a woman still struggling from her past. In spite of her anger and her past, she is still always trying to do the right thing and to help anyone in need, and treat everyone with kindness, regardless of who they are or where they come from.

PLANS

General: Also sticking to tagging out/closed stuff for her this month!

• Tifa is now part of the Avalanche crew aboard the Seventh Heaven! So she'll be out at sea more often, as well as docked regularly in Eltrut or on Elah. Feel free to come visit her, she's probably cleaning or in the kitchens, or training out on deck.
  
• Speaking of training, my big goal for Tifa here is to open up her own dojo! A place for her to teach the things that she learned, and pass on Zangan's legacy to others, as well as her own style and technique. That's still in the works, but something that I'd like to see come to fruition this year. Maybe in the spring. Until then, she's just mulling over that idea.
  
• She has a warrior cat, so anyone who also has a cat should come be friends with her.
  
• She's getting a canon update in March into a FFVII Rebirth canon point! Might do an open post for her in April after hiatus. We'll see!
  
• Those are my big plans for her. Otherwise, she's just going to be helping people, staying out of the way, laying low, etc.

MANTA Board:

• The Edge of Sleep: while she is not cursed, she would be willing to help out anyone who needed to find a cure!
  
• Spelling Me Softly: Cute fluffy Tifa sheep? Or Tifa surrounded by sheep? Count me in.
  
• Harvesting Moonlight: she just wants the moondrakes to cook!
  
• There's No Place Like Gnome: considering it's HER CAST that started this mess (staring at you, Aerith and Cloud) in the first place, it seems only fitting that she gets harassed by gnomes.
  
• Magitek Barrier Stress Test: self-explanatory.
  
• Beauty Banditry: let her paint your makeup for you! Or, you know, forcefully take the items back.
  
• High Above Me, She Sews Lovely: she'll want to check up on the seamstress after helping get her back to Eltrut!
  
• Part of Their World: also self-explanatory. She wants to go mermaid watching.

Event: For Tifa, I'm thinking mostly festival things with the dragons! Like Benedikta's, I'm going to wait and see what the event brings to decide what I want to do, but that's my thought so far.
