ENOUGH ABOUT THAT GUY THOUGH! douglas here is mycroft's bestie/watson equivalent. you can read more on my info post or app, but tl;dr - he's a good man with a big heart who just wants to leave the world a better place than he found it. even though he tries to come off low-key and unassuming, he's done a lot of stuff in his 40+ years: he was a sailor in his youth (he will be EXCITED to be on the seas again), he owns a tobacco shop (and is a big nerd about it), he runs a boys' shelter in london, annnnd he hangs out with SOMEBODY who keeps trying to break up international conspiraciey. luckily, even if douglas is a big softie he is also VERY good at fighting. he can and Will capoeira-kick you in the head if you try him. :|b

additionally, douglas is from a historical canon that does go into some heavy subject matter. i wont bring anything up unprompted/without warning but please see his permissions and feel free to opt out if you need.

There's a whole lot of world info here and some of it here, but her tl;dr is that she's an assassin, thief and drug trafficker that works for this criminal organization known as 'Crimson'. You wouldn't think she's an assassin given her really cheerful demeanor but here she is... in all her glory... she's a very morally grey character but overall very friendly if you aren't in her way/her target.

Anyway hello the name is taso and I bring with me Alhaitham AKA Kaveh's infamous roommate from that one goddamn gacha known as Genshin Impact into this game! Yo, I'm Wahoo, and I am completely new to Dreamwidth RPing and this is my first real experience joining a game and I am super nervous but mostly super excited to be here and meet you all! I bring to you this sassy lost teen with too much pride and snark named Ranma Saotome from an old Rumiko Takahashi manga/anime series called Ranma 1/2. The TL;DR is he's an arrogant martial artist who tries to be nice and helpful to people but has all the social cues of a brick wall, doesn't know how to be tactful and a bad case of 'foot-in-mouthitis' who can't stop attracting chaos, bad luck, and enemies wherever he goes. The 1/2 of his series' name is from a minor little detail of a little gender-bender curse triggered by water all because Ranma's father was a stupid idiot (which could sum up a lot of ranma's troubles really). Here, maybe he'll be able to find and make friends with people who won't want his head on a pike every five seconds, but with his luck, he's going to cause problems and enemies with people, intentionally or unintentionally.

I barely check it, but you can contact me on wahoothis (or discord when I join the server), PM this journal or the journal for girl-type Ranma (treebornekettlegirl) if you ever want to plan or plot anything or chat or whatever. I am really excited to be here and unleash this little pigtailed gremlin to run amuck on, and apologize in advance for anyone who has to/has already interacted with this sarcastic menace to society who will make someone's day more eventful for the better or worst, with no in between.

Which is to say, this is Garrus Vakarian, the sniper, space batman and right hand man of the Mass Effect trilogy. He's an alien, he's like six foot something, and his voice is very cool. He also can't swim. At all. None of his species can - they sink. He's from the end of ME3, just before the Priority Earth mission.

hi everyone, so glad to be here! i'm mira and i've brought in mycroft holmes from the eponymous series by NBA legend kareem abdul-jabbar all about "hey what WAS sherlock holmes's brother doing before doyle's stories". instead of being a looming figure in the background, mycroft is currently 27 and has struck down at least two international conspiracies and nearly died at least five times so far despite his best friend's attempts to stop him from doing just that. he's a holmes, they need their enrichment.

beyond that, he's a deeply loyal person who's intent on doing better for others, he recently quit his government job, his idea of a vacation is to check out another country's banking systems, and he needs friends to stop him from walking into yet more cringe moments, which he will undoubtedly do here. after his brain fries on accepting magic is real, of course - that's going to take some getting used to.

hello hello! i'm arisa bringing in sanji from that long, never-ending pirate manga one piece. he's a corsair and he's ready to meet all the women everyone.



sanji is a pirate chef who has a good heart but might steer on the seemingly perverted side. he'll call any man an idiot and worship the ground any woman walks on. he's a romantic, not just about love but about dreams and hopes, striving to one day find a sea that so many claim doesn't really exist. he tends to be all emotion, but he's got a steady head on his shoulders (when his eyes aren't sticking out of his head in heart shapes) and cares about keeping people fed, whether he likes them or not, having known the terrors that come with going hungry. he's also freakishly good at kicking people around to the point that his legs light on fire.

be warned, sanji can get extremely pathetic when interacting with women, but if anyone playing female characters wants to opt out of this, just let me know. he can be pervy (because what else do you expect from men writing shounen manga), but for everyone's sakes, including my own, i do try to keep this toned down in rp.

also, his canon is from post wano, so at this point, a lot of extra background regarding sanji's past has been revealed. since people are still picking up one piece fresh even to this day, i'll try to avoid any of those details without warning, or just let me know what you're good with.

Hello! I am chesca and this here is Ardbert. He's a giant puppy of a generic hero man who mostly just wants to hang out with animals and make the world a little better.

Mostly, anyway. As far as he's willing to share. There are things he's more on board with letting people know than others - he's not super private about the fact that until recently he's been a ghost, for a start.

(If only because then he'd have to come up with an excuse for how he keeps forgetting he has to use doors now, and he's by no means the kind of clever man who can do things like 'lying' and 'coming up with fake names that are more than one letter away from his actual name'.)

He likes birds and he thinks that the best thing about the devices is being able to use pictures of chickens in the place of words.

Hey! My name is Jude and I'm bringing in Chopper from One Piece! He's a small humanoid reindeer with the power to shapeshift and manipulate his different strengths that way. He's also the doctor of the Strawhat Pirates and can canonly communicate with other animals.

He's kind hearted and one of the more innocent members of the Strawhat Pirates and can sometimes be on the more shy/timid side thanks to his past. Although he can panic easily in a fight, he also would do absolutely anything to protect the people who matters the most to him and lives to follow the doctors code -- to help anyone who needs it.

Hello! Total newbie to the game here Myco, and the character I'm starting off with is Theseus from indie superhit video game Hades. The Hades take on Theseus is... unique. He talks like a Shakespeare wannabe. He rubs olive oil on his titties. He names all of his attacks, in a game where no one else does this. This is not normal. In short he's a chuuni, despite literally being the ancient Greek hero. As a self-proclaimed hero he has a quite a big head which leads to having a hard time admitting when he's wrong, which can be a contentious point! Conflict seekers and negative CR lovers have at thee.

Theseus is a Paladin like he was truly meant to be. Feel free to friend my plurk (mycophobia). I'm excited to play with all of you!
