SAIL WITH ME: DECEMBER 2023

An abbreviated version of our CR Workship! Same concept, just a lot smaller. If you have multiple characters, make an individual toplevel for yourself with your player info and comment to it with each character separately.

We also include a designated toplevel for Crew Recruitment where players can make OOC ad posts for others to either join or request to join or make a crew. This is all for OOC coordination, so you'll have to figure out how it works ICly.

Canon: Post-Shadowbringers (5.0) and early on into Endwalker (6.0)
Armada: Paladin

About: Short of the actual gods, Emet-Selch is one of the most powerful adversaries the Warrior of Light faces in FF14. To the average mortal/human, he WOULD be considered one - however, he considers himself a regular man and he lives and dies the same way (even if said life is practically indefinite). Amongst his own people, he was known as a powerful and competent mage with particularly sharp Soulsight: the ability to perceive things at the aetherial level.

As an individual, he's rather solitary and standoffish and doesn't make friends easily. But he cares more than he lets on.

Abilities: As Emet-Selch doesn't have access to Creation magicks here in Escordvi, he's simply just a powerful mage. This ranges from the typical elemental spells to healing spells to more esoteric things like aether-imbued weapon arts. He can also transform into a boss form second form, but here it's restricted by intense emotion.

PLANS

General:
MANTA Board:
- The Picture of Dorina Grey - for anyone who would like to catch a glimpse of his 'true self'. I'm undecided how his final image should look, whether it'll be ugly to reflect what he's done, or extremely beautiful because of how single-minded his determination has been.

- Magitech Madness - Emet-Selch helped introduce electromagnetism so he'll be roped into developing the technology a bit more (reluctantly). I'll have him tinkering with trying to make a crude gunblade probably. One of a more Garlean design.

- (PALADIN) Fountain of Blades - An opportunity to see bits of Emet-Selch's past! This can be spoilery or not spoilery depending on preference.

- (BOUNTY) Untitled Goose Bounty 2 - Well, this is a great chance to get some money quick so Emet might try his luck against this beast. Anyone want a multi-talented sorcerer in their party?

i know we have a magitech madness thread going but hmm if you're open to double threads, the dorina grey portrait quest is definitely another quest that could be good for them to deepen CR! especially if he's gotta talk about himself.
