SAIL WITH ME: DECEMBER 2023

An abbreviated version of our CR Workship! Same concept, just a lot smaller. If you have multiple characters, make an individual toplevel for yourself with your player info and comment to it with each character separately.

We also include a designated toplevel for Crew Recruitment where players can make OOC ad posts for others to either join or request to join or make a crew. This is all for OOC coordination, so you'll have to figure out how it works ICly.

Looking For:
I'm looking for a crew willing to adopt one (1) vampire hunting witch. Maria hails from France around the time of the Revolutionary War and is wholly invested in that cause. She's also extremely used to fighting and comes with several familiars she can summon up in a fight. She's also fairly good with most blades.

I'm not picky about who is in the crew, in fact tension leading to friendship would be nice! Maria is going through a lot emotionally and could use the support of others. She'll support you in turn, don't worry -- Maria is a spitfire but she's quite kind!

Crew: Raider of the Lost Arts
About: Magic, Science, and all-the-ways-they-interact Research! There are so many ancient artifacts, dusty tomes with cursed knowledge, and new advancements in the mixture of magic and science that are waiting to be explored and exploited! With the largest and most prestigious research center among the leviathans under the Paladin's thumbs and access granted at their whim, certain avenues of research are difficult to pursue. Unless you happen to have your own ship with a dedicated research lab. Which the Raiders of the Lost Arts will have ICly around the middle of the month.
Pitch: Since the purpose of the crew on an IC level is to gain the flexibility and means to pursue research that could be difficult if forced to remain within certain distances of the main leviathans, the crew is going to be looking to invite those who have shown an active interest in various magical and science research. Anyone with an interest in doing the dry lab research or who enjoys delving into dangerous ruins to uncover potentially life-threatening cursed treasures is welcome to approach one of the current members during the first half of the month as rumors spread about a crew getting items together to give to the leviathan for a ship of their own with the intent to pursue magical research.
Character should acquire at least a level 1 ring of returning to facilitate travel between the ship and other ports if they don't have a teleportation power.

Crew: The Hideaway
About: Currently the Hideaway's purpose is a bit "loose," taking more of a independent, free to do what you want direction. Taking the odd jobs, helping others, and just living a more "free adventure life" of the Corsairs, even acting something like "Robin Hood" with their actions. However, although the Hideaway is on the "nicer" side of the Corsair group, they still behave and act more like outlaws, willing to bend and break the rules if needed.

Pitch: Cid is also interested in looking into finding the relic responsible for the rifts, so if there's anyone who wants to potentially stay in Escordvi longterm, this is the group for you! If you just want to have fun and have five powerful Dominants behind your back, also the group for you! We're pretty loose with me behind the wheel and Cid himself tends to look at people for their talents (especially tech savvy!) and need for a place. So yeah a fun, comfy "found family" type of group.

Even though they are Corsair affiliated, Paladins are welcome!

Pros:

He'd fit well with a beginner crew or a more experienced crew willing to take on a newbie. He's willing to put in the work to get better and is a team player.

Looking For: A crew for Toge. Those on the Corsair ship might know that Toge makes an excellent ship cook! It being one of the primary skills he brings to the table, he's been one for cooking for the group. He's not quick enough for a restaurant, but he is able to make a meal for a good amount of people.

It would be nice if they weren't afraid of him, but it's not a dealbreaker.

He comes with his own warrior cat, Thornprick.

He's also incredibly overpowered in a fight, and will defend his crew with all of his might. He's a newbie to ocean travel, but he's not afraid of doing dirty jobs. He's also a good money maker, because those hunts are well within his skillset.

Crew: Future Restaurant Ship (name pending)
About: Kotori's floating the idea of a restaurant ship so riftfarers can have a taste of home and extra food supplies for in emergencies. Possibly discovering magical recipes and/or potion making as well!
Pitch: Open to characters from both armadas; while the ship will likely be under the Paladin flag to provide legal protections, it'll be a neutral zone for everyone to enjoy! Anyone who can help with cooking, service, cleaning/maintenance, bookkeeping/inventory, or anything else to help the restaurant run smoothly, and wants a little bit of slice-of-life to go with their adventure!
