PLAYER INTRO: JANUARY 2026

YO HO AND AHOY EVERYONE! This post is our catchall gathering place for all new and old players to meet and greet. Introduce yourself and the character you're bringing in, giving us whatever info you feel comfortable with! Don't forget to join the Discord server if you haven't already! The invite code will be in the app notice.

The CR Workship is also available for you to post into or check out and try to plot with others on there. Be sure to read our recent Captain's Log for any important announcements.

Intro, intro... right, intro!

Hello, I am VG again, and I've returned to the intro post because... I have added another character! This is Wriothesley and yes, that's his actual name, don't ask questions. He's another from that Gacha game you can play for free, but then there's a character that comes up that you really, really want and you find yourself out a few bucks later... aka Genshin Impact. He's from Fontaine like some of the others, but he's not from Fontaine. Nope, he's the Administrator for the world below used as a prison called the Fortress of Meropide, annnd... I'll leave it at that besides saying he enjoys tea and he's not a bad guy... really.

Haha, contacts are the same over on discord. Looking forward to him making some acquaintances!

another current player with a new char! Stella here bringing in Keyleth of Critical Role, specifically the first campaign, as I have not yet had a chance to watch TLOVM. She is a shapeshifting druid who is extremely sweet except for that underlying thread of unresolved anger issues... don't worry about it...

A lot of her magic isn't going to work the same as it would in canon, so she's going to have a fun time figuring out what will work and what... will shoot her across the map, dump her in the ocean, teleport her to a random island, or just give her a massive headache. It's gonna be great.... At the end of the day, Keyleth is a very loyal friend and people may just find an influx of random animals prowling around soon...

contact is still by pm or sixflights or by pinging me in the game discord (sixflights). I'll have a cr workship up for her as soon as my brain cooperates and I'll be continuing any and all desired TDM threads this month.

Hello, new player here, adding to the Dragon Age cast! I'm Froda, and I'm bringing in Lucanis Dellamorte, a master assassin and (no joke) amateur cook. He has a demon inside him, and that is not a metaphor! Please do not worry about this very chill dude with zero trauma!

Continuing the trend of existing players with new characters! Hello, this is tonake, I play Hythlodaeus and I'm bringing you another guy with a name that ends in -us from a grecoroman-inspired, art deco aesthetic, debate-based egalitarian utopia society... but this time from Arknights, which is full of bad things happening.

Ulpianus used to be a nerd scientist, but then his undersea homeland got attacked by Seaborn(TM), which are like if amoebas were zombies and then became an ever-evolving, ever-growing, all-devouring species of weird fish monsters. Now Ulpianus is a genetically engineered supersoldier with Seaborn DNA, greatly fixated on figuring out how to eliminate the evil fish.

He looks spooky and his head is full of Fish Elimination, but underneath it all Ulpianus remains a dweeb. He's not good at talking to people, his home's technology and social conventions are different from those of ~landwalkers~ (his compatriots repeatedly complain about the toilets not being advanced enough), and he thinks wearing a face mask and many layers of clothing is a good way to avoid attracting attention. He's also a singer and composer!

I'm hoping to let Ulpianus be a weird nerd, have a bit of a break from the whole evil fish situation, and maybe even make some friends! My contacts are inepticons and Discord, so hit me up for anything c:

Joining the already here train, it's me RJ! I'm here with ANOTHER redhead who favors fire (oops) but this one is a pint-sized bookish teen obsessed with following rules and doing things 'right.' The most Paladin of all Paladin's, he possesses a magical "STOP" button that can temporarily cancel out anyone's powers. Get ready for Alice and Wonderland motifs, jokes about decapitation and absolute devotion to utter nonsense. It's Riddle Rosehearts!

Riddle, while used to being the best at school, is not naturally good at anything. Being on his own, after essentially doing nothing but spending his life indoors studying and attending classes, for 15 years before his time at NRC means he is going to struggle. A LOT. And could probably use some patient people willing to try and drag him out of his shell, even if he'll deny it. Becoming his friend is an uphill battle and one you'll probably never be sure if you're actually winning. But he's a good kid, who likes sweets, and animals and enjoys a bit of competition, if you can drag him away from his desk.

If you can bear with his eccentricities and not take his anger personally, he's a good guy. He'll be there for you when it counts, even if it's to scold you for getting into trouble in the first place.
