YO HO HO EVERYONE! This is an ATP/EMP post where players can make cast requests for people to app into, or make ads for characters they are considering bringing into the game. It works like any other ATP/EMP, but we do have a few things to note down:
» Invitations are required to reserve and apply! But you can go ahead and post to the ATP/EMP post with a note you need an invite. If you know a current player, they can comment here to submit their invite for approval. Direct requests to the mods are currently closed.
» We have a 65 player cap.
» Players can only app 2 characters at once with a max limit of 3 in game. But since this is an ATP/EMP, feel free to put more if you're having trouble deciding!
» Our Game Info should cover everything you need, from basic premise summary to the nitty gritty details of the game mechanics. If you have any questions, post them there.
» Just want to make it clear that this is not a claims page. While we give priority to whoever is on the Reserve list, we do allow app challenges, and there is no rule against multiple players TDMing the same character. Of course we don't want there to be too much conflict, so everyone please be polite no matter who it is.
» TDM is Saturday, June 14. This TDM will double as our "Sticky Situation" event, but we will include a traditional "starter prompt" for TDM specific characters. Everything will be carried over as canon!
» Reservations open Tuesday, June 24th.
» Applications open Tuesday, July 1st.
» Use the following codes to write up your character or cast ad!

Preferred Armada: ... Yes. Corsair fits her, I think? But she more or less has been surrounded by Paladin types so we are flexible in ideas.
Le Blurb: Because Grief: The Game
From a world where each year the Gommage wipes the eldest living humans from existence, and each year the max age one can live to be decreases. The max age a person can be at the start of the game is 32. Maelle, 16 years old, if the Gommage persists, will live to be 25.
To stop the Gommage, Expeditions are sent to kill the culprit, the Paintress. Despite her young age, Maelle joins although less to save the world and more to escape it. She's not selfish, honest...
Maelle herself is reckless, arrogant and sassy. She assumes, despite all warnings by loved ones to the contrary, that consequences can't touch her and that she can outrun her problems even if it means jumping a cliff to do so. *~She'll be different~*
Ha.
If app'd I'd be wanting to take her from Act 3 or Post-Game Bad ending. Because apps aren't until July I am hoping that is enough time for those mid-playthrough that spoilers shouldn't be too bad..? But if this upsets anyone, lemme know and I can work around it, especially with the tdm.

Sister to Lyney and Freminet. Daughter of the House of the Hearth (and thus Arlecchino). Catgirl. Tea aficionado.
I talked about her last EMP, and everything I said there is still true.

Khalid'sClaude's #2 who is, despite her best efforts, incredibly capable, insightful, and loyal. Please don't let word of that get out. She'd much rather be known as a helpless maiden who needs everyone else to do things for her. She is going to try her damnedest to treat this like a vacation. It probably will not work.no subject

Sylvain is, on the surface, your typical shallow playboy, allergic to commitments, would never be accused of taking anyone or anything too seriously, a serial slacker and the picture of a perfectly wasted space of a noble. Which is entirely the point, because then people rarely give him a second glance beyond the surface, and he can't disappoint expectations if no one has any in the first place. In reality, he's a far more complex character, someone who feels entirely trapped by their birthright and duty and has resented the lack of choice in his life since he was old enough to realize he had no say in his own future. So he makes up for it by taking the ideal of "sowing his wild oats" waaaay too far and basing his entire persona around it. But this mask hides a person who is far too clever and observant for his own good, fiercely loyal and protective of those who do actually get close to him. he is inventive and bright, has a knack of understanding complex concepts even when he hasn't dedicated much (or any) of his time and attention to scholarly or tactical pursuits.
He'll be coming out of a canonpoint in the middle of years-long war that divided three neighboring kingdoms and separated friends and allies alike on different sides. Everything's been terrible and he'd actually welcome a break from that and the battle he was facing that would put him on a battlefield opposite of a bunch of people he didn't actually want to fight in the first place. And being removed to somewhere no one would know or care that he was the heir of the Gautier Crest would just be the cherry on top. Apologies for the mischief he will no doubt cause and his scandalous lack of shame when it comes to being the most outrageous person at the party.

Varric is a character that's been around A WHILE in Dragon Age now, having been a central character throughout three of the games. He's a dwarven rogue who wields one of the only mechanized crossbows to exist in his world (affectionately named Bianca and no you can't touch her). A renowned (and published) storyteller, a rogue, a spy, an information broker, Varric's done a little bit of everything in his lifetime, adapting to fit the current need and crisis currently wrecking havoc across Thedas. He's one of those people who views every stranger as a friend he hasn't met yet, and is one of the most charismatic and jovial companions to accompany whichever hero he currently happens to be assisting.
Loyal and good-natured, he comes at life with a sense of irreverent humor and an unconventional problem-solving - one that he's not afraid to end at arrow-point, should all other options fail him. He's an easy person to relate to and can strike up a conversation with just about anyone, easily able to find common ground to meet in a compromise. He's often the one to diffuse tense situations and tends to collect stragglers and strays and take them under his wing, his closest friends often made up of makeshift bands of misfits and outcasts.
I'd likely bring him in from the beginning of Veilguard if he showed up here, especially because that wouldn't make things extra complicated for his canonmates at all >.> But also look how hot a silver fox he is, who could resist that face? And that chest hair!
Also if he ends up writing "friend-fiction" about people he meets here and starts shipping wars that have nothing to do with the actual ships, I'm totally not sorry >.>

Lucanis was trained to be the most dangerous mage-slayer in a group of legendary assassins, the Crows, and made a name for himself as the Demon of Vyrantium. Until a cult made up of some of his most dangerous enemies had him betrayed and captured. Imprisoned, tortured and experimented on, he became more than just his namesake indicated when he was forcibly possessed by a demon, but the experiment went terribly wrong for his captors when, instead of becoming a more easily-controlled abomination, he and his demon united to become something else. Something new. Now inhabited by a spirit of Spite (who embodies exactly what the name implies) the assassin is an even deadlier foe, with a vendetta against those who ruined his life. And a debt owed to the one who got him out of that prison against all odds.
As part of the Veilguard, he's dedicated to bringing down a pair of corrupt, blighted gods, despite the fact that he's still a mere mortal. But considering the enemy cult is now closely aligned with these corrupt deities running amok, it gets him two birds with one stone. But also, he has no idea how the Veilguard survived before he got there because none of them can cook and they're all terrible at taking care of themselves, so despite the fact that his life has been all about killing, he also becomes something of a caretaker for the gang in their downtime between deadly fights. And his time as a prisoner has given him a greater appreciation for living and the joys that can be experienced with his new freedom - something he tends to appreciate to its fullest. Whether that's cooking exquisite meals or being a huge coffee snob or figuring out how to stab a cloud.

I WOULD BE SO HAPPY TO SEE EITHER
Partner or beverage bestie... Lace would be thrilled to see either of them and you know the kind of emotional resonance Varric would have especially, but man, she would welcome either with open arms, especially if they're joining her among the Corsairs (although she's kind of Over the sort-of-divide at the moment for reasons).
Think of how much material Varric could get for his next book! Alternatively, I think Lucanis would really benefit from a vacation on the high seas, lol, also the Corsair base is on the back of a dragon which is awesome.

Yeah, yeah. Another Final Fantasy lady, I have a problem, don't look at me. This is VERY VERY TENTATIVE and I'm only like 50% sure I want to do this, but just putting out feelers for now because I would need to do a little canon/voice review, and I want new icons. But the urge to take her out of retirement and at least toss her onto the TDM this month is strong. Whether I app her, we shall see. 👀
Anyway. I'd likely be taking her from the end of XIII, which means that she will be a little less of the Cold, Hard ex-Sergeant that people know her to be
i will bite anyone who says she is female cloud. She still has her moments and will always tell it like it is, but she also has her moments of being the encouraging, tough love sorta-big-sis. She has a heart of gold under that cool exterior, and really grows into her role of being a leader once she learns how to deal with her grief a little better. :)no subject

Year after year, the Paintress paints a number and everyone of that age dies. Wanting to end the cycle of death, the city of Lumière sends out an Expedition of volunteers willing to risk their life to stop the Paintress, or, at the very least, make headway for those who come after.
To avoid spoilers for this game, Verso is a later addition to Expedition 33 who seems knowledgeable about the Continent past the barrier of Lumière. Though dark and mysterious, he is quite the charmer, able to spin conversations in a way that allows him to learn more about others or get the information he needs. While he has his own motivations for confronting the Paintress, he is steadfast in accompanying the Expedition towards the Monolith, in hopes that he too will acheive his goals, whatever they may be.
Also, did I forget to mention that this man is voiced by the Ben Starr?
This is tentative as hell, but I do want to at least voicetest this guy on the TDM. But I know just posting this means all bets are off. So have at it.

Player: Wahoo |
Invited by: bounces off walls
Preferred Armada: Corsair
Tmw Wahoo reads a spinoff manga and impulsively makes two journals for two chars, one of them being a one-off. Ted here is the former SHSL Pryomaniac, with a passion for making beautiful fireworks. Unfortunately, his ideas of 'beautiful fireworks' involves people. And since the Biggest, Most Awful, Most Tragic Event in Human History, or the Tragedy for short, he's gone on a killing spree, gleefully using his custom-made pyrotechnics and arm cannon to blow people and buildings to smithereens.
Preferred Armada: Paladin(?), I'm undecided for her
Meanwhile, Rei is a nurse who much like another SHSL Nurse, is pretty clumsy. Presenting herself as kind and neutering, she also has an affinity for any and all things related to parasites. Viewing them as her precious babies, she has special ways of incubating them until they've fully grown. She's... honestly not much saner than Ted.

Did someone ask for a possibly undead not-vampire unwilling vessel of the herald to the End of the World whose also a shape shifter in a tattered opera cloak he has no business swishing nearly as much as he does? I submit one Vincent Valentine of OG continuity flavor for your approval.
He doesn't get why people think he's cool. He doesn't talk because 1) he's awkward and 2) he had trouble hearing you around his ~angst~. To be honest, he just woke up on the wrong side of the coffin after a 30 year sleep.
No he doesn't want your phone but he'll take it anyway. You're welcome to leave a voicemail. He'll listen when he figures out how to check them. If you text him and he loses the notification, RIP that text.
I really do think he'd work as either a paladin or a corsair and I have reasons for both! He will be coming in mid Dirge of Cerberus but I'm still working on exactly where. Look for him soon on a TDM near you!

I'd love any castmates but specifically I'm looking for a Sister Carpenter! She needs to see how surprisingly well her awful little brother is doing here. He has a (giant monster) dog and a volunteer job. Not sure if she'll be more proud of him or upset he has nice things, but I want her here either way.
I need a siblings reunion desperately. Maybe this is a setting where they can work through their... many, many issues.
I'd also love a Val; she never met Faulkner, I just love Val. Paige or Hayward would be amazing too. Faulk misses Paige a lot!

FIRE EMBLEM: THREE HOUSES
Three different houses and four different divergent paths means that there can be a lot of variety when talking about canon points. There are a lot of really neat characters and in depth backgrounds. Some of it is silly while other points are quite serious. You think you are playing an academy sim to start with and then all of the sudden? War! Everyone gets a serious glow up after 5 years.
Honestly, it's a tactical game, but Three Houses actually does have a lot of world building and complicated ethical and moral dilemmas. Nothing is quite as simple as it seems and each timeline has its own motivations and things that it deals with along the way. It's a game that I've found myself coming back to numerous times. There's a character type for whatever appeals to you.
Don't leave this place to suffer with only Claude's presence?

Kingdom Hearts
Yo ho, Yo ho, a pirate's life for me?
Looking for Kingdom Hearts pals to join a small but mighty cast in the Not!Caribbean! All the benefits of being a pirate, none of the clunky sailing mechanics or annoying races against Luxord (unless you like that sort of thing).
The cast has expanded to include Roxas, Axel, Ventus, Young Xehanort, Sora, Riku, and Terra and we are happy to accept more members to the crew! The wilder the better, if I'm being honest! Bring out your rares! But also, anyone else would be more than welcome!
I'd love to see Xion or the Twilight Town Crew, personally.
Our Young Xehanort would very much love a Young Eraqus.
Kairi and Vanitas would be very welcome as well!
I am happy to answer any questions! May your Heart be your guiding key, and may it guide you here!

Basch's home country was invaded when he was a teen. He joined the army alongside his father and brother, more or less telling himself he'd have a life when the conflict was put to rest. It's been 20 years. He's lost two homes, failed two families, spent two years in prison sure he deserved it, and found out his brother was still alive but vehemently angry with him. Basch genuinely believed he deserved punishment, and floundered without a direct purpose to serve or charge to protect.
I'm taking him from a CRAU where he was forced to work through the fact that he had a poor grasp on his own wants and sense of self, and shame when he did manage to find them. He's still prone to giving himself someone or something to serve. His last game was a sex game, so while he's worked on a lot of emotional stuff, he hasn't actually confronted what his identity is in the real world now that he's free of king and country (or any hope of them). I think that makes this an interesting setting for him, and will challenge the parts of him his last game made safe and non-issues. Also his
soulmatepartner will be here, and he doesn't really give a fuck where he is if that's the case. Paladin and Corsair both have interesting possibilities to push him on his developing identity.TLDR: Overly loyal neurodivergent knight is figuring out how to be a whole ass person.

SONIC THE HEDGEHOG
Calling all speedsters! This cast has grown fast, and is rapidly approaching its cap. So if you're interested in joining, don't hesitate — you might miss out if you're too slow!
We've got a big group of 8 right now: the heroic trio of Sonic, Amy Rose, and Tails (that's me!); the lone antihero Shadow; the not-so-lone rival duo of Surge and Kit; the biggest and baddest of them all, Dr. Eggman; ... and the only one here who can say they've successfully murdered Sonic, Espio! So, who else would we like? Well...
- Any game canon characters would be welcome, of course — like Knuckles, or Rouge, or Silver, or Blaze! Or... hey, Marine would be right at home here! In particular: Espio is missing his Chaotix crew, Shadow misses Maria, and I know our Eggman player would love a Sage.
- More IDW characters are also welcome! Like Belle, Tangle, or Whisper!
- We'd also welcome some of the classic SatAM/Archie characters. Especially the Freedom Fighters!
- How about movie characters? How about Agent Stone??
To sum it all up: Whoever you'd like to bring in, we'd love to have! And please, if you're not sure, just reach out and let us enable you. Hope to see you apping soon!no subject

Its been a few years since Tali was young and significantly less worldly. On her pilgrimage, determined to make her people proud by bringing back something that would truly impress her fleet. Ships are everything to Quarians, and have been since they were forced from their homeworld and onto the Migrant Fleet, a flotilla that contained the remnants of her people. Even after centuries they're maladapted physically, wearing special suits to safely navigate the world and carefully monitoring for infections at all times.
Despite this, she'd been a part of Shepards crew when the Reapers had been discovered. She'd fought alongside her to ultimately take down Cerberus and force the world to unite against their seemingly inevitable destruction. They'd made it in no small part due to her engineering prowess and skill with a pistol.
She loves tech, she loves ships, and she's pretty good at making friends. I'd be taking her from the end of ME3, right before Shepard goes off to make A Major Choice. She's learned life is short and to treasure what you have while fighting to keep every scrap of it you earn.
Also you should get her drunk, she's a really fun drunk.

From the same world as Zelda and Ganondorf, Riju is smolest chief of desert amazon women, the Gerudo. She came to rule after the untimely passing of her mother at the age of 12, facing hardship after hardship that mirror the struggles of Hyrule. First with the return of the calamity and then in the upheaval to follow. At times she might feel like she lives in the shadow of greater women such as the Champion Urbosa or the sage of the distant past, Nabooru, but by the end of the game she proves herself an accomplished leader in spite of her age, worthy of the title Sage of Lightning.
Also she comes with her stylish sand seal Patricia!

Hello. I have a gremlin here. Link is many things: a bonafide hero, the wielder of the master sword, a foodie, unhinged, weirdly averse to clothes, and also a short king. He's also zelda's guard dog (sorry zelda-).
He'll have CRAU from songerein, but only up to his BOTW canon point (sorry for the slight gaslighting, beat-) and he'll be from maybe midway through the dragon tears quest in TOTK. I'm still working out some logistics but i'm looking forward to tdm time!!

Preferred Armada: Corsair hands down. He literally had an airship built in canon.
Wriothesley is the warden/administrator of Fontaine's infamous underwater prison. He was once an inmate himself, having plead guilty to the murder of his foster parents in a desperate move of seeking justice. Wriothesley is a man with very strong morals and thinks humans should have a chance at redemption and rebirth if they so strongly wish to seek it.
He's a fairly laidback individual, preferring to stay pretty hands off in the inmates lives (and is fairly popular with them), but also is one who rules with an iron fist. He strongly hates injustice and people taking away a person's ability to make their own choices. He is willing to dirty his hands and doesn't fear enforcing his rules when necessary.
Boxing is a lifestyle. Tea is an addiction. Maybe he'll bark and give you his paw if you ask (kidding). Undecided if I'll take him fresh or consider bringing him as a CRAU. The emphasis to his CRAU is that he's a little more open to being vulnerable around people and less guarded than his aloof OU counterpart.
