An abbreviated version of our CR Workship! Same concept, just a lot smaller. If you have multiple characters, make an individual toplevel for yourself with your player info and comment to it with each character separately.
We also include a designated toplevel for Crew Recruitment where players can make OOC ad posts for others to either join or request to join or make a crew. This is all for OOC coordination, so you'll have to figure out how it works ICly.

About: What happens when you take a friendly and outgoing teen with a mischievous streak, remove his capacity to feel and train him as an assassin for a near decade? You get anomalies like Axel. Axel is known in KH terms as a Nobody: a 'person' without a heart who can no longer experience emotion, but one who is extremely good at faking it.
Thanks to his strong connection to people like Roxas and Sora, Axel has been able to reawaken some 'feeling' in himself over time, but it is often in short bursts and extremely fleeting for anyone outside of their presence. The Armada brands hurt Axel bad in this regard. With nearly all of his CR being Paladins he has been lonely and fighting hard not to regress back into the apathetic shell he used to be.
Thankfully after a month of recovery he is slowly regaining his sense of self.
He can be meddlesome and liable to push people out of their comfort zones-- if only to experience something vicariously through their reactions-- but he has a good 'heart'--even if it, er, isn't exactly inside of him-- underneath the sass and swagger. The lone adult on the Plus Ultra crew.
PLANS
I'm always looking for positive things Axel can learn to use his fire for. His magic is the one part of his identity that he feels actually belongs to him, that isn't just steeped in darkness, and it's become increasingly important to find some way to see it as something more than just a tool that the Organization would use.
That said, almost dying in prison has definitely given him a wakeup call to never be caught that helpless again...
I'm also open to backdating any rift shenanigans because I missed my chance for that last month and who doesn't love fun with portals?
MANTA Board: The Tavern Brawl could be a great chance for some silly chaos or something like Eggscort duty could have potential (maybe Axel can warm some eggs that a parent unfortunately isn't returning for until others can help relocate the the nest to a new surrogate)
Going on looser quests like ingredient gathering could also be nice, just a good setup to banter while on the job.
I'm excited to see the Balmoro on there too! I might wait on that one to roll over into next month to really make good use out of the prompts for it but there's no reason I can't fight them multiple times either!
Event: I don't know about top levelling but I'll definitely be bouncing around the TDM. I keep getting suprised by new castmates, so I want to make sure I'm available and possibly use the event as a backdrop to get to know some of my newer CR better too. Nothing out of the ordinary here!
As 'hotheaded' as Axel might come off, revenge against the crystal raiders isn't really something he'll go out of his way for this time. Let someone else do the icky jobs. He has given a pretty callous impression of himself though, in regards to Elah, perhaps he'll make up for that a bit by defending the island against some shark/shark folk attacks.

I've been trying to find the right scenario to tag you again to make up for it. So HECK YES brawl with me!
I've been thinking about how to post a top level for it mingle style, so I'll ping you if I get that together.
Though we COULD kick the whole thing off by play-fighting until Ranma or Axel deliberately miss each other and chuck a drink or fist at someone else? haha
