CR WORKSHIP: MAY 2025

Our CR Meme CR Workship is where players can drop all the cool info for their characters and try to plot with others to continue existing or create new CR. Be sure to look over the MANTA Board as well as current events if you'd like to include them in your post.

We also include a designated toplevel for Crew Recruitment where players can make OOC ad posts for others to either join or request to join or make a crew. This is all for OOC coordination, so you'll have to figure out how it works ICly.

If you have multiple characters, make an individual toplevel for yourself with your player info and comment to it with each character separately.

About: Sherlock is a 23 24 year old pretty, pathetic, babygirl Victorian still very much learning how to be a consulting detective. He's more emotional than the average Holmes and is. trying. his. best. He hasn't gone on any of the cases he's known for yet. His first adventure with John Watson is chasing a Cthulhu cult across the world. Now, he's stuck here despite Cthulhu trauma, getting seasick, and being majorly aquaphobic and thalassophobic

Abilities:
- Normal Victorian era human, pistol marksmanship
- Consulting Detective: but with shaken confidence
- Violin, acting, disguise, sketching
- Weakened mental fortitude (for potential RP shenanigans more than an actual ability Sherlock can consciously use)
- tattoo light magic which manifests itself in him as bringing the Concentration Mode game mechanic to life where others can see it

PLANS

General:
- still recovering from the crystallization plot and a relapse in his health
- Right now, Sherry's a bit uneasy around people, though he's trying to get past that
- Could use some lower key, positive times

MANTA Board:
- Eltrut Snap
- Love and Paladinspace (purely to gather intel, not to improve Paladin relations because /motions at crystal plot)
- No Rift Like Home
- Treasure Hunt (as one of the map piece holders)

Event:
- Yeah, no. He has nightmares from what Elah did now. Others can go underwater and take care of that

CR Dreams:
- Gimme all the detectives, let's solve mysteries!
- People with who he can learn how to live instead of survive
- He can be a target to tease or help because as smart as he is, he is naive in other areas
- Anyone with mental/emotional powers can have some fun with Sherlock, and I'm happy to provide information for shenanigans

Etc.:
- 4th Walling Sherlock: His canon does it to him already by referencing other adaptations along with ACD canon, Frogwares' other Holmes continuity, and The Sinking City. He's learned about the ACD books while in Esco, also a blond Mycroft and his adaptation. He mostly believes Heizou is some alternate
- So if your character knows of Sherlock Holmes, no need to hide the fact, just remember he's baby compared to default ACD Holmes and also might get a bit moody about it

About: Former detective turned space batman turned right hand man of the savior of the galaxy. He has a really deadpan sense of humor. Kind of an asshole, but unfailingly loyal. The best gun calibrator in the Milky Way. Also a seven foot alien with a gun the size of a child. He took a rocket to the face and lived. Generally, he's pretty grounded and practical, doesn't really care much for magic and all that, and always down to shoot problems as they come. Even if those problems are fish.

He can't swim.

PLANS

General:
Garrus is part of Zelda's crew, and, as a result, will go to bat for any of those aboard the floating circus. Long term plans mostly include helping out with the ship, the crew, and trying to help wrangle it into something like working order. Possibly looking for a really, really big gun to attach to the ship. Tangentially involved in a couple projects here and there - personal plans, pitching in for bounties, that kind of thing.

He's not looking to go back home any time soon for uh. Personal Reasons. So he's just rolling with things as they come.

Event:
Well someone is going to learn to swim for the first time. By turning into some kind of big armored mer-turian. And I will laugh. That's about as far a plan as I have so far, but I am down for launching him into just about any shenanigans. I'll have more of an idea when the event actually... drops haha. I am still super willing to backtag the previous event here if that's of interest!

Davrin | Dragonage Veilguard | Paladin

Armada: Paladin

About: Elf, monster hunter, expert wood carver, griffon guardian and Grey Warden. The latter meaning he has evil monster blood in him and can fight them more effectively than normal people. It also means one day he's going to go crazy and turn into one, but that's beside the point. Wears shirts with very deep V's. Doesn't like magic despite living in a magical realm in canon. Also he has a griffon he eventually calls his son. But you never heard him say that.

PLANS

General:
In general, Davrin's been mostly enjoying time here. There are bounties to take, new monsters to study, and plenty of opportunities to train his griffon, Assan. He's taking it in stride, even the magical parts he doesn't particularly like. That's eventually going to kick him in the face with the realization: you're going to be here a long time and things are probably going to hell back in Thedas. Oops.

Event:
I... have no solid plans for Davrin for the upcoming event until it really drops. Definitely want to get him involved in the underwater city, or hunting the missing Leviathan, that's something he'd definitely throw his lot in for, hunting is his JAM. Like with Garrus, I'm always up for shenanigans and new CR, and still tagging his past event TL if it's of interest!

Faulkner | The Silt Verses | Corsair

Canon: The Silt Verses, his last scene

About: Faulkner is from a world of gods and monsters, ruled by powerful corporations that harness divine energy for their own ends.

He’s spent most of his life chasing the idea of being a Great Man… while failing to even be a good one.

He’s desperate for attention, for purpose and meaning. Unfortunately, up until recently that meaning was leading a dangerous crab themed cult dedicated to an outlawed, eldritch river deity. It didn’t go particularly well for him.

He’s taking his arrival here as the opportunity to reinvent himself, and to try to be a better person. Whether he’ll succeed is anyone’s guess.

Abilities: I’m keeping him cut off from his canon (literally) god-given abilities, but planning to have him get a tattoo that lets him harness plant magic. He’ll be wanting to experiment with that a lot, once it happens.

PLANS

General: I’m trying to leave it loose! I’d love for him to form connections and eventually become a more stable healthy person, but him attempting an over-ambitious power grab somewhere along the way at least once is likely.

MANTA Board: He’s doing Eltrut Snap, Perfect Pastures, and having a bad time with rifts. He’s also working with Sidestep to try to help the mad alchemist’s dog-creature.

Event: On an OOC level I really want to make him a merman. Well, a shrimp-man. That said he has Complicated Feelings About Water and also about how creature transformations are usually permanent in his world, so I’m trying to figure out exactly how to make it work in character. If anyone wants to try to encourage him to do it that would be great!

CR Dreams: He needs connections! He was a desperately lonely child who became a desperately lonely young adult and it’s at least part of the reason he’s deeply unhinged. I’d love for him to make friends, and generally come out of his shell. Crustacean pun slightly intended.

In return you get… a very awkward little country boy with a secret villainous past who doesn’t know how to maintain relationships or be a normal person. At least he’s kind of charming sometimes? And he’ll probably get very attached to anyone who is even a little bit nice to him.

That said, negative CR is also really interesting to me. I’m basically up for anything!

Etc.: He’s adopting a big weird dog this month. So that’ll be good for him. Come visit the conservatory and pet his weird dog.
