ENABLE ME TIMBERS: OCTOBER 2023

YO HO HO EVERYONE! This is an ATP/EMP post where players can make cast requests for people to app into, or make ads for characters they are considering bringing into the game. It works like any other ATP/EMP, but we do have a few things to note down:

» Invitations are required to reserve and apply! But you can go ahead and post to the ATP/EMP post with a note you need an invite. You can either rely on a current player for help, or you can directly request an invite from the mods.

» We have a 50 player cap, but since this is only our second round and allow the public to request for an invite, we have temporarily upped it to 65 to give more breathing room.

» Players can only app 2 characters at once with a max limit of 3 in game. But since this is an ATP/EMP, feel free to put more if you're having trouble deciding!

» Our Game Info should cover everything you need, from basic premise summary to the nitty gritty details of the game mechanics. If you have any questions, post them there.

» Just want to make it clear that this is not a claims page. While we give priority to whoever is on the Reserve list, we do allow app challenges, and there is no rule against multiple players TDMing the same character. Of course we don't want there to be too much conflict, so everyone please be polite no matter who it is.

» TDM is Friday, October 13th. This TDM will double as our Halloween event, but we will include a traditional "starter prompt" for TDM specific characters. Everything will be carried over as canon!

» Reservations open Wednesday, October 25th.

» Applications open Wednesday, November1st.

MORE SERIOUSLY THO- Alphen is sweet, well-meaning, and dumb as a sack of bricks except for swordfighting strategy and things like that. Why did we put him in charge, again??? He's also 300 years old, a walking Arise spoiler, and I'm pulling him from post-game for once to see how that plays out.

Aside from being pretty friendly and weirdly open about his insanely strange past, he's very justice-minded and has a lot of weird powers that canon never explains fully, but one of them involves somewhat setting himself on fire. I'm not totally convinced I'll have time for another game, but he's definitely coming to the tdm!

Alpheeeeen! Yes, please bring us Alphen. Even if just to the TDM, but maybe possibly all the time. The game is pretty laid back and AC is nice.

Velvet!! omg, are all the Taleses corsairs too? they're all just too chaotic to follow directions. seriously though, I'd really love to see these two interact, I bet it'd be fascinating

Velvet and Eizen are, Sorey is a Paladin. So he'd fit in with the two of them nicely. And same, the last time I played Velvet was before Arise came out, and I'd love a thread with them.

Yeah, I think so too! They're both kind of on the jrpg side of morally gray, which should be fun. And Alphen will be persistent in trying to make friends with a brick wall, which might be unfortunate for her but will also probably be hilarious

They are, and I love that so many games are exploring that. She does need more friends who are persistent and won't be scared away by her thorny personality. /fingerguns

Kri gimme Alphen and Sorey cr. It's fine he already met Eizen and Velvet even if they are on Corsairs and Sorey is Paladin (good boy too good for me to shove him at Corsairs). I'd love to see Alphen even just on the test drive even if you don't app, really!
