ENABLE ME TIMBERS: OCTOBER 2023

YO HO HO EVERYONE! This is an ATP/EMP post where players can make cast requests for people to app into, or make ads for characters they are considering bringing into the game. It works like any other ATP/EMP, but we do have a few things to note down:

» Invitations are required to reserve and apply! But you can go ahead and post to the ATP/EMP post with a note you need an invite. You can either rely on a current player for help, or you can directly request an invite from the mods.

» We have a 50 player cap, but since this is only our second round and allow the public to request for an invite, we have temporarily upped it to 65 to give more breathing room.

» Players can only app 2 characters at once with a max limit of 3 in game. But since this is an ATP/EMP, feel free to put more if you're having trouble deciding!

» Our Game Info should cover everything you need, from basic premise summary to the nitty gritty details of the game mechanics. If you have any questions, post them there.

» Just want to make it clear that this is not a claims page. While we give priority to whoever is on the Reserve list, we do allow app challenges, and there is no rule against multiple players TDMing the same character. Of course we don't want there to be too much conflict, so everyone please be polite no matter who it is.

» TDM is Friday, October 13th. This TDM will double as our Halloween event, but we will include a traditional "starter prompt" for TDM specific characters. Everything will be carried over as canon!

» Reservations open Wednesday, October 25th.

» Applications open Wednesday, November1st.

NIMONA

Bring me Nimona boys! It doesn't matter if they're movie-based or comic-based, I live for chaotic shenanigans. Ballister and Ambrosia are dating in the movie! But Nimona has unfinished business with Ballister that I'd love to explore, and get her to know Ambrosia outside of being on the other end of his sword. They'd fit in very well with the Paladins, working to protect people! Or toss Ballister on the Corsairs for fun problems, be the voice of reason for those people! Or to be their "evil scientist". :3

That said, I would accept anyone from Nimona - Thoddeus Sureblade, Meredith Blitzmeyer... or anyone else from the comic. I swear I'm going to read it all someday soon.

Just think, you are an hour and 40 minutes away from knowing all you need to know about the movie versions of the other two main characters! You could join Nimona "And tonight's the night we knight the knights!"

Just... softly peeking in on this. I've not posted anything here and I am not part of the game yet, but a friend has pointed me this way and I was considering picking up Bal recently (thus the far too fresh journal to which I am decking out here tomorrow). BUT, I figured I should at least see if you would be interested in me at least Test Driving? I'm also double checking to make sure you haven't found someone already interested in apping Ballister! As I don't want to step on toes, of course. But... hello!

Hihi! I would love to have you come aboard, especially as Ballister! I haven't found anyone to app him in yet, so please, Test Drive him and I will slam so hard into that. And I apologize for Nimona's canon point, she is fresh off his "betrayal", but she will probably handle it a lot better now.

I saw the canon point and love it! I was like "That is a heartbreaking canon point and it is perfect" haha. I'm still trying to decide where to take Bal from, though I have been pondering somewhere slightly after the betrayal but pre apology.

It's good for a little bit of drama and gives some wiggle room for people to watch the movie to not be spoiled! omg that would be a good one. They'd get to work through it without... a lot of violence. He'd be all beat-up and Nimona trying to act like she doesn't care.

Yeah! That was my thought too. I don't want to pull him from the end and too deep into spoiler territory, but also I think it'd be fun to go from his understanding more but not having got to talk to her yet. The delicious soft angst they can still work through but nothing that will take ages to mend LOL. Okay, so I might settle on that! Now, to get his journal spruced up, and get ready for tomorrow. Haha.

It always gives us a chance to make our own ending, and also canon update in the future. But ooh, yes, that is a good one too. Watching Nimona rampage across the city. I'm excited for all the potential!

Yesss! I agree. Also, sorry for the long delay. Between D&D games, cleaning and losing the weekend I finally got to reread the game intel andddd... make a TDM post. Hopefully it's not too bad. I've forgotten what it feels like to RP, I swear haha.
