PLAYER INTRO: MARCH 2025

YO HO AND AHOY EVERYONE! This post is our catchall gathering place for all new and old players to meet and greet. Introduce yourself and the character you're bringing in, giving us whatever info you feel comfortable with! Don't forget to join the Discord server if you haven't already! The invite code will be in the app notice.

The CR Workship is also available for you to post into or check out and try to plot with others on there. Be sure to read our recent Captain's Log for any important announcements.

Ahoy, mateys! Christine here, player of Gale, bringing in Lace Harding from Dragon Age: the Veilguard (+ Inquisition)!

Seasoned scout, expert markswoman and plant enthusiast, Harding is a surface-dwelling dwarf who has spent the better part of her life estranged from "traditional" dwarven culture, only to have very recently found herself intimately connected to what are essentially their gods and manifesting some pretty rad earthbending powers.

Harding is cheerful, friendly and eager to get to know the people and cultures of wherever she finds herself, having traveled widely in service of the Inquisition before she went on to tour all of Thedas with her good friend Varric to hunt down the Dread Wolf. She's left some pretty heavy unfinished business behind in coming here, but she'll be trying to distract herself from dwelling on that for the time being— as much as she can, anyway. Her canon point is from late in the game, prior to heading to Tearstone Isle, so if you're still avoiding spoilers for DA:V, please let me know and I will take extra care to avoid them.

Most Lace spoilers will be about her new abilities at least, which tbh, are awesome, but she's processing some big dwarf feelings about big dwarf lore so maybe I will SLIP YOU SOME LITTLE TIDBITS. :> Harding has to be friends with every giant lady she meets though, so happy for Karlach.

Harding I hardly know her—

but anyway yes I LOVE HARDING SHE WAS ONE OF MY FAVES IN INQUSITION and I was so stoked to see her in Veilguard!! I have not played it myself but. Yes. I'm very happy to see her that's it.

I'M SO GLAD TO SEE ANOTHER FAN I love our scout queen! I hope you get to experience Veilguard at some point, it is great fun and Harding and the dwarves get a lot of good content!

Also he can't do the fancy plant powers Harding, you'll need to ask his husband for that.
