Raiders of the Lost Arts rollcall
Hello, as you may know, our captain's player (Dongfang) had to drop out of the game, which means we need to organise how his possessions are being distributed and who is going to take over as captain of the crew. Since everyone seems to be scattered across different social media, I decided to make this post so people can discuss things.
For my part, Emet isn't interested in Dongfang's possessions (but if that toe ring somehow finds its way back to him that would be 100% hilarious). If there's no-one else interested in ICly or OOCly organising things, I am happy to take on that role.

In regards to it, Turo would take over care for pets simply because he's the local animal guy of the crew, more so if no one else stepped in/took them into their own care.
I would also like him to have the Ring of Returning if no one else claims it.
Otherwise? He'd simply let others have first picks whenever it came up to dividing other things amongst the possessions.
Still Turo-mun, just- tired lmfao
Essentially stuff has not gone unlooked after.

Damn though Dongfang had a lot of weapons. I think the idea Reno had about keeping everything in storage for the crew to use as needed is a good idea, and if someone wants it permanently later that can be crossed off so to speak.

This something Turo would agree with, since all of them would know where things were that way; and honestly feel it's the best of both worlds myself. It's also something they can keep adding to as a crew, be it a reward or something found during some exploration, if wanted. Safe storage amirite.

Ye, my guess is it'll mostly be Reno and Dojima making use of them, but it'll be a good way to keep loose track of what the Turk is up to and slowly work on trusting the espionage agent. Plus if Donny ever comes back, they'll all be there for him in one place.

What are we going to do about captaining the crew, as well, and who is going to stay on the ship? Idk how that transfer of leadership is gonna go.
Reno's good with Turo having the ring of returning, but he'll ask if he can borrow it from time to time. He'll want the thieving gloves, but if everyone else smacks his little raccoon fingies away, that would be hilarious.
For the rest of it: it's all extremely useful, and I can say Reno here would advocate for keeping them in storage for use by the crew as circumstance or need dictates.

Keeping the possessions in storage is a pretty good idea once everyone has had their time to claim things! And fitting for a crew who likes to research and collect strange things.

But yeah, Dojima would agree about keeping it in storage/available for people to take out as needed. He might eye a few weapons but he'd be afraid of wrecking their integrity with his metal powers and wouldn't want to face Dongfang's wrath for messing with them.
He'd be pretty comfortable with Emet for captain. The guy... seems like the type who takes stuff seriously when he's not napping.

Most people on the ship are pretty independent and just gets things done anyway, so at least it won't be a bunch of cat-herding.

Still Turo-mun, still tired _(:з)∠)_
... the funny part is he wouldn't even ask why, just ask Reno to drop it off when done.
mood binch
Yeah, he'll give Turo a heads up, and he'd always find it back in his lab, probably a designated drawer so it doesn't slide off or get knocked off and disappear, and they can keep track of it.
it be like that sometimes
Probably keeps it on a chain that can be worn around the neck/easy to slip off said chain/adds some extra bit of weight with that so it's easier not to misplace, too.
