An abbreviated version of our CR Workship! Same concept, just a lot smaller. If you have multiple characters, make an individual toplevel for yourself with your player info and comment to it with each character separately.

Character: Tifa Lockhart

About: Tifa is the "Mom Friend" if there ever was one. She is a kind, empathetic, patient, protective soul who is always looking out for others. Sociable and friendly as she can be, she's much more reserved than she appears—she never wears her heart on her sleeve and keeps her emotions close, and prefers to talk about anything but herself. But don't let her shy, timid exterior fool you. She is a savvy business woman who ran a bar and can kick a lot of ass, too.

Internally, Tifa carries a lot of grief and has had plenty losses in life, is incredibly self-critical, and it's because of this that she is always pushing herself to do better. She'll always try to think things through first and put on a smile for others, but deep down beneath all of that is a woman still struggling from her past. In spite of her anger and her past, she is still always trying to do the right thing and to help anyone in need, and treat everyone with kindness, regardless of who they are or where they come from.

PLANS

General:

🌠 Still just getting settled in for the most part, getting the lay of the land, wanting to explore Elah especially now that they've landed there.
🌠 Otherwise, I just have plans to have her helping people where she can. She doesn't really care what side people are on, as long as people are able to get by. But that doesn't mean she's a pushover—
🌠 She'll probably be frequenting taverns and places where a lot of information can be exchanged... and who knows, she might even take up a job at one of them in the near future. She's a damn good bartender!
🌠 Really, my general plans for her are just helping people, staying out of the way, laying low, and making sure that everyone is equally fed and taken care of.
🌠 Might be interested in a crew with some fellow Paladins if it ever comes up (hey, FF7 cast, whatcha doin')

MANTA Board: I'd be interested in doing pretty much any of them! But more specifically:

🌠 Spirited by Spirits, either being possessed by a spirit or encountering someone else! Funnily enough, she's scared of ghosts so trying to get her to play with them might not go over so well, but one can certainly try!

🌠 Unconventional Couture, Paladin edition! She's a terrible liar and likely won't blend in at all, but she can certainly TRY.
🌠 A latte love story

Event: I am hoping to top level with Tifa at the event this month since she never got one on the TDM or the maiden voyage log, but we shall see! I always find I thrive better with her when I tag out, so I will gauge it when the time comes! But things I am interested in so far:

🌠 She wants to help with the treats! And participate in all the cool festivities since I don't think Gaia has anything like it.
🌠 DANCE WITH HER, oh my gosh please. She is very shy so she will need someone to coax her onto the dance floor, but as soon as she manages to get out there, she will have such a lovely time. Gimme all the cute dance threads, thank you!!
🌠 So Tifa is terrified of ghosts so the ghost ship thing will be so much (not) fun for her... which means I am going to have to throw her headfirst into it. She will try her best to fend them off, but poor girl doesn't like anything haunted. :(
🌠 Honestly, I am just down for all the things.

Character: Benedikta Harman
Canon: Final Fantasy XVI, post "Wings of Change"

About: Benedikta Harman is a woman who is all about her survival and self-preservation first and foremost. Having climbed out of the depths of a cruel and terrible youth, she ascended to a place of power within the Kingdom of Waloed after being rescued, both by way of her talents in subterfuge and swordplay, and awakening as the Warden of the Wind, the Dominant of the Eikon, Garuda, which allows her to wield powerful wind magic. She is the Commander of Waloed's Elite Intelligencers, and is fiercely loyal to King Barnabas.

However, not everything is as it seems with her. She is loyal, yes, but to a fault, and is stung by the bitter bite of betrayal. She is ruthless, only cares about her own skin, and resents the world for what it has done to her. But deep down, who she really is is a woman who has looked and continues to find love and validation in all the wrong places...

In short: she's a mess. :)

PLANS

General:

🍃 Currently dealing with recent developments between her and Cid... and while things ended on a more positive note than last time they tried to talk, she is still Going Through It, as they say. So she'll be seen around Naughtilust still in the coming weeks leading up to the masquerade...
🍃 Lots of cast drama incoming, as well as a priming into Garuda's full form in the near future so keep an eye out for those wind storms.
🍃 I really want her to lure someone into stealing a ship with her and then try to ditch them on some remote island someday.
🍃 On that note, I would like for her to steal some ships, place bounties on people's heads just because she doesn't like them (with player permission of course!), and just sow some seeds for general chaos, which her and Barnabas are very good at.
🍃 She will also be trying to recruit others to Barnabas's cause and her crew by using whatever tactics that she can because they are definitely looking at making their own! Well, Barnabas is. She's here to help.
🍃 While I'm not looking to fully redeem her (because let's be real, she is far from fully redeemable), my main goal for her is to eventually come to terms with everything she's done wrong. She's gotten a taste of that after what happened in canon before arriving, but still has a long way to go before she accepts it. I have some plans in the works for how that's going to come about, but it's going to be a long journey to get there.

MANTA Board: You know me, I'm easy, but for more specifics:

🍃 Spirited by Spirits, I already have plans for having her possessed, but she might be fun to toss against other "Larger Than Life" people. Perfect way to annoy her!
🍃 Smashing Pumpkins, you better believe that she is going to shoot them at people.
🍃 Fowl language, yes the bird will teach the birds how to swear
🍃 Pickpocketing practice
🍃 The Headless Pumpkin

Event: She will only be tagging around this time at the event, but lots of potential here!

🍃 Not sure if she will participate in the festivities, unless someone is able to convince her, but it will take MUCH CONVINCING.
🍃 But she will definitely be at the party on Naughtilust, drinking and dancing and dancing and drinking, so if anyone wants either of those things with her, then feel free to! Just let me know and I will happily make it happen.
🍃 For Reasons I shall not disclose here, Benedikta is going to be very angry about the ghost ship crashing the party when they do, so she is going to be absolutely feral when fighting them. Yes, probably also semi-priming, so if you would like to fight alongside half-form Garuda, now is your chance! She won't need pumpkins and light magic, she will just use her claws—

For Tifa, I defs want them to hang out and get drinks and be Paladin buds!! If she needs a friend who will listen to her grief, Xenk would be more than happy to be there for her.

For Benna🍃DEFINITELY need them to meet again at the masquerade and not recognize each other and have just a lovely time together, only for the truth to come out and Xenk get justifiably slapped for his Lawful Good nonsense, I just think that would be amazing and I'm always down for Xenk getting dunked on

Oh my god she might just slap him when she finds out that it's him, as if he knew that it was her and how dare he dance with her and let her flirt with him regardless! I'm so ready for things to get awkward between them. Xenk deserves so much better but he will not find it with Benedikta HAHA.

But aww Xenk, such a good friend. 🥺 Maybe one day she will learn to open up about it!!! But I am debating on whether I want to throw her at your log or at the party 👀

I love that for them, hope they're awkward and Benedikta yells at him and throws her champagne at him honestly, what could be better than that!!! 8)

Definitely feel free to do either one (or both!!!) Xenk is an open book so they can hang out whenever (though he's gonna be Going Through It at the party so maybe a Manta log might be better for Tifa LOL)

ALSO can I just say how excited I am about Xenk and Tifa getting glammed up together because I am so ready for this.
