About: Roxas is the Nobody of series protagonist Sora. He's been jerked around by the narrative a bit, since his existence was a bit of an anomaly and then other darker forces sought to use him before he was shoved back to Sora. It's been a long road, but he has fought his way back to existing and now he's ready to live his life.

He's a little sarcastic and cautious at first, but it's easy enough to break through the veneer of that. Please let him do stupid teen things.

-Still kind of getting used to everything. Roxas is mostly looking to overcome his seasickness and maybe start learning how to swim

-Might have a top level since Roxas has some residual memories of undead pirates courtesy of Sora. So, we'll probably be fighting them
-He'll probably be more into the treats than the tricks and generally anything spooky and Roxas don't super go together
-He's a bit of a wallflower but please coax him into having fun. He's still learning.

About:
G'raha is a Miqo'te with skills as a black mage, white mage, and a paladin. His red eyes are actually unnatural, since his bloodline contains what is called the "Allagan Eye." Long story short, an ancient empire collapsed and a princess gave the G tribe a red eye blinker so that they will be able to control Allagan devices. Through a series of events, G'raha locked himself up inside the Crystal Tower after pretty much believing that his entire adoptive family ( the Students of Baldesion ) were either dead or in an eternal sleep. Anything after that? Chat me up unless you're CS.

He's a historian by nature and those marks on his neck essentially mark him as an expert in his field. Not everyone is given those. As for his personality, he is energetic and excitable. A nerd that can go on about a topic for hours. A lover of heroes and adventure aaaaaand... His own worst critic. This boy legit believes that he constantly has to make himself valuable through what he is capable of doing. So yeah there's that.

About: Kotori is one of the protagonists in a cooking slice-of-life where she gives cooking lessons to her widowed high school teacher and his preschool daughter, despite not cooking herself due to her fear of knives. On the surface, Kotori is a shy, easily anxious and flustered, completely ordinary teenage girl who looks and feels VERY out of place in a pirate isekai. But underneath is a somewhat lonely heart looking for people to care for, and a VERY enthusiastic passion for food, with an appetite and sometimes encyclopedic knowledge to match. She can even have a surprising (even to her) impulsive streak at times, especially when it comes to helping out others. The only thing really holding her back from being a great and confident chef is a fear of kitchen knives, stemmed from cutting herself when she was younger. Read more on her profile page!

General: Short term: Get Kotori a crew and meet people, start looking into cooking and potion making, have people nudge her out of her comfort zone, especially with her knife phobia. Long term... I'll see where the wind takes me. Part of the draw for her is seeing how the canon helps her grow in ways she wouldn't consider back in her world.
MANTA Board: If there's a food quest, Kotori will be on it! And she can be talked into other quests as well, of course.
Event: KOTORI JUST WANTED TO EAT EVERYONE, WHY ARE THERE ZOMBIES EVERYWHERE??? More seriously, she'll definitely help with any food-related set-up beforehand, eat and maybe dance during the festivities proper, and then reluctantly help fend off all the spooks, most likely through potion chucking or very awkward staff combat.

About:
Cloud is one serious awkward creature. He kind of has a prickly exterior just to hide the fact he's a little shy and awkward and doesn't really know how to socialize well. That's what being locked up in a jar and experimented on for like 4 years does to a guy. Thankfully with his canon point, Cloud is far more emotionally and mental stable than he has been in the past. Now that doesn't mean he won't come off as gruff or maybe even a little jerk-like, but he really can't help himself. Cloud really is a kind person and loyal at heart and just wants to be able to protect people.

General:
I'm not really someone that goes into a game with more long-term plans. Really I'm just having fun trying something that's a little different ( but not too different ) from normal. I think playing in a setting like this for Cloud will be a good thing because of the whole building relationships and CR experiences. So that's the sort of thing I want to focus on the most with him.

About: She is a 1,000-year-old shape-shifter who never talks about how she really acquired these abilities. Never fit in with other animals, had one human friend who eventually turned on her. Spent a thousand years doing ???. Turns up in a "futuristic" Kingdom, befriends a guy who was set up to murder the queen. Gets betrayed by him too. Nimona is a wild "child", she enjoys metal music, cooking, and generally being a little gremlin. Her goal is to get friends and be accepted for who she is - and what she is.

General: Just making more friends and maybe finding one or two people to tell her story too. I want her to open up more with at least a couple of people, instead of hiding behind anon.

Event: Nimona is all in for this event, she wants to trick-and-treat! She wants to dress up (probably in a suit) and wear the best disguise of being someone else for some trickery. This may be someone in game, or someone from her world - if anyone wants her to be them, lmk! When the undead come out, I also want her to go dragon for the very first time - not scary dragon, but pink dragon that shoots big cereal balls at opponents.

I will likely top-level and tag out a bit!

About: Velvet is a human-turned-daemon, she is a specific breed known as therion - which means she literally vores others. She is out for revenge and has got herself a crew to help her with that... oh, and save the world, she guesses. Angry, violent, will do anything to accomplish her goals, but does have soft spots for some people!

General: She and Eizen are going to be ship-"shopping" aka looking for a ship to steal. Faris is going to be their third for the crew, so Velvet should introduce the two if they haven't met already. But I would like at least a couple of people who she really gets along with, she's already made headway into the FFXVI cast with a few of them.
MANTA Board: Uh, nothing solid atm. If anyone wants her to fight your possessed character, come at me! Smashing Pumpkins and the clean up.
Event: Blood moons in ToB are generally not a good thing, so Velvet will be on guard for the event. I am taking advantage of dressing Velvet up for the masquerade, so please enjoy one of her rare moments of her being a girl. Uh, if anyone wants to watch her vore some of the undead... please feel free. No idea if I'm top-leveling yet or just tagging out. Will decide later.

About: Vampire, thief, liar. Guy who just went on the network to anonymously cry about losing a friend for the first time in his 200+ year life. Astarion's backstory is full of a lot of really concerning things but he's doing his best to simply live his life how that he's here. He's really good at stabbing things, even ghosts.

General: Astarion is just vibing and trying to learn the ropes (ha ha) of being on a pirate ship. I would personally love any CR with other corsairs with just some of the mundane day to day pirating things. As much as I love doing event stuff, I also just want to engage with the setting in different aspects too so if you want any gen cr at the beginning of the month, hit me up.
MANTA Board: Astarion is going to participate in the following:
-Planting trees to get jumpscared by the reward
-Ghost possession, ofc 'tis the season
-Fowl language, he'd teach these birds vicious mockery if he could. His Tav is a bard, so he's gotta do it for them.
-Smashing pumpkins also on the list if nothing else it'll be good fun
-I wouldn't mind joining up for the candy corn! Astarion doesn't care too much about candy or carrots, but he's not a big fan of cults.

I might do a new log for that since it's October! Honestly I just want to keep playing with everyone so I'll take whatever excuse I can
Event: Well this month is obviously going to be a good time to be undead! Astarion will definitely be attending the masquerade and is more than happy to do some adult things in some nice clothing. He'll also partake in the festivities, depending on how pressed he is about the entire ass sea being be color of blood.

He'll be an asset when it comes to fighting the undead because (a) he won't be afraid in the slightest and (b) he's actually got a radiant weapon, which creates a small field of light and does light damage. Personally I'd love to do a multi-person team up, but I know threads with multiple ppl can be a bit to coordinate. Still, a person from a 4-person-turn-based game can dream (':

Anyway because I'll probably do an october manta + gen prompt log, I'll be topleveling the event with these things. And if anyone has any specific ideas about their own things or just wants someone as a partner for shenanigans, please feel free to hit me up.

About: Zack is a former soldier turn runaway who has been through a lot of shit and really needs to find a break in his life. He quickly gets along with others and often encourages them to do their best and can often be seen as having a very puppy-like personality. He might not be the smartest guy around but boy does he have spirit.

🐺 First of all a general note that I am technically coming off of hiatus after spending most of September selling my house and moving places. I’ve been tagging sporadically and slower than I usually do so I just want to say thanks for hanging in there with me and I hope to jump back into things better starting this month now that I am settling back into a normal routine soon!

🐺 In general Zack is spending this month working on CR building and getting into some quests. I would really love for him to develop his current CR and to make some new friends and drinking buddies. My main goal for him right now is that and perhaps someone asking him about his life back home.

MANTA Board:

🐺 Spirited by Spirits I want Zack to get into some trouble from playing with the cute spirits and getting possessed a few times.

🐺 Unconventional Couture Zack wouldn’t want to wear a dress but maybe someone can convince him to give it a try? He would say he looks a lot better in men’s clothing but he would still want to sneak into Nogard to intercept the stolen goods!

🐺 Latte Love Story Anyone want a big man puppy that’s overly affectionate and showering you with compliments? Paladin or Corsair may apply!

Event:

🐺 Zack will be attending the festivities this month! More than likely he will have a top level in the event. He won’t be wearing a dress or gown to the masked masquerade but he will get himself a nice suit that fits the theme!

🐺 When the ghost ship hits Zack will be cracking skulls and taking names. He won’t hesitate to try and help anyone out who might be getting attacked. No one's allowed to ruin everyone's festive fun like this!!

And he's from a country that is literally run by an evil necromancer/lich, so he's got the holy paladin from an evil place background, which is a spectacular look for the spooky season.

General: I love the spooky seasons so I'm gonna try and put my hands all over every prompt if I can. Specific plans below, but know that I'm open to anything! Especially bonding! If your character wants to get drinks with Xenk or hang out, let me know! Xenk loves writing letters as well, so if you want to do some bottle prompts or get any letters from him, I am always down.
MANTA Board: Once again, Xenk is your man for quests as he is very much a Man of Action and will do anything, regardless of reward! Expect to see the following throughout the month:

💅 Unconventional Couture: My man Xenk is going to Nogard to help catch criminals and thieves in high heels and fishnets because gender norms are for losers and he will look so good. Might need some help getting dressed, but he's committed!
👻 Spirited By Spirits: A perfect chance for Xenk to interact with the undead? Sign him up. If you thought Xenk was annoying and/or reckless before, wait till you see him get possessed. We may not be ready.
⚔️ Bounties: As with every month, Xenk will happily join on any bounty missions because people need rescuing from monsters, of course! Don't even have to share an Armada, he will happily ally with anyone for the sake of that sweet, sweet satisfaction of killing dangerous things.

Event: I am gonna top-level and tag out for sure! Might also do another catch-all for Manta board quests at the start of the month because Xenk is a busy boy. As for the event:

👻 Ghoul's Moon: Xenk's entire DnD class is based around using holy magic to cleanse the undead and bring his god's holy might upon the unjust, so he will enjoy the festivities and be around, thinking this is all such good fun. It's so nice that people here think undead are just ghost stories. Haha, it's not like he is one....
🎭 Nautilust Masquerade: You know our man Xenk cleans up nice and likes to look good. Gotta set a good example as a representative of Tyr, you know? Xenk being Xenk, he'll also not recognize most people in their masks, so if you'd like some fun confusion there, he's game. But Xenk is an excellent dancer and a perfect gentleman so if your (20+) character wants to ogle him please do so. He's hot. He might have a little champagne and loosen up a bit, Tyr willing.
🏴‍☠️ Ghost Ship of the Caribbean: Oh boy did I mention how Xenk is great at killing undead? This will be his time to shine! Even if the blood moon makes him look a little, uh, upsetting, don't worry about it! Maybe? Depends! He's definitely on the side of good, and he's definitely ready to brake some skulls and spread the holy light of Tyr! Oh and throw candy at them too, I guess... but maybe someone will have to slow him down from killing undead, cause he's just so good at it.

About: Prince Joshua Rosfield of Rosaria. First of his name. The Unburnt. The Prince That Was Promised. Breaker of Chains. Slayer of Lies. Bride of Fire. Etc etc.

Joshua is a long-lost prince who's seeking to find the truth in his world, achieve freedom, and seek a better future for all. He is studious, determined, gentle, well-spoken, chivalrous and book-smart. He is also the Phoenix Dominant, a firebird summon, which means he commands the ability to call upon his Eikon at any time and cannot be burned. He's pretty much a walking spoiler for the game so please check out my application or his wikipedia for more. Also if you would like for me to avoid spoilers please let me know here!

🐦 First of all a general note that I am technically coming off of hiatus after spending most of September selling my house and moving places. I’ve been tagging sporadically and slower than I usually do so I just want to say thanks for hanging in there with me and I hope to jump back into things better starting this month now that I am settling back into a normal routine soon!

🐦 My biggest goal for Joshua right now is for him to settle into the setting a bit more and to make some real genuine friends. He’s led a life that’s made it hard for him to have many social connections outside of his family and a few choice friends. He’s basically been robbed of his childhood and didn’t have much time to experience a lot growing up so I would love for him to connect with others and learn about life in a natural way.

🐦 Joshua is also a big fan of the theatre. He might be tinkering with the idea of starting a little “theatre show” and roping his brother into performing some skits with him. It would have to be on a ship’s deck so perhaps once he’s settled in with a crew?

MANTA Board:

🐦 Joshua would enjoy crafting a fishlight lantern if you want to do something cute with him.

🐦 Fowl Language would be hilarious for Joshua as he would probably feel terrible for teaching such innocent birds such terrible words and phrases. But he would love the opportunity to see the conservatory close up and take notes about it just for himself. He’s a curious corsair. If anyone wants to team up with him and break in together!

Event:

🐦 Joshua will be tagging out for this event. He will also join in on a few of the festivities but will more than likely be shy about the actual masquerade part of it. Perhaps if he has someone he can go with!

🐦 When the ghost ship arrives I’m toying with the idea of Joshua getting into some trouble here and perhaps getting injured. But I also want him to prime into his Phoenix form here. And find out he’s a small fire sparrow…

About: Jarlaxle is a drow brigand captain and the leader of the mercenary house Bregan D'aerthe. One of the most powerful people in Menzoberranzan, he's charming, affable, flirtatious and a bit of a huge risk taking adrenaline addict. He doesn't take much of anything very seriously, including himself, and he's really just here to have a good time.

That being said, he's an exceptionally intelligent man, and not always the most trustworthy, usually having his own wants and needs on the forefront of his mind. He has something of an arrogant streak, as well as being a greedy little bastard. He does his best not to be the worst, and that's all that counts.

PLANS

General: I wanna try to have him spend time talking to more people, so if anyone wants a brightly dressed little drow elf popping in, he'll be more than happy to oblige. I'd also like to get him more involved in the magic system. A lot of his items from home were nerfed so he's pretty keen on evening that out a little with a bit of learned magic.
MANTA Board: Fowl Language, Spirted by Spirits, Headless Pumpkin and Horned Dolphin all look good to me, but I'm more than happy to do anything else as well!
Event: He's gonna party. He's gonna PARTY. He's gonna party so hard. He's gonna dress up, get so much stupid fun garbage like plastic swords and candy rings, he's going to mess around at the Naughtilust and he's definitely going to fight some zombies.

Probably while drunk and loaded with candy and plastic swords. He's also still got ten fun items in his bag of holding so if anyone wants to see what happens when a drunk drow fires up a wand of lightning, feel free to help out. Or stop him. Whatever comes first.

About: Tifa is the "Mom Friend" if there ever was one. She is a kind, empathetic, patient, protective soul who is always looking out for others. Sociable and friendly as she can be, she's much more reserved than she appears—she never wears her heart on her sleeve and keeps her emotions close, and prefers to talk about anything but herself. But don't let her shy, timid exterior fool you. She is a savvy business woman who ran a bar and can kick a lot of ass, too.

Internally, Tifa carries a lot of grief and has had plenty losses in life, is incredibly self-critical, and it's because of this that she is always pushing herself to do better. She'll always try to think things through first and put on a smile for others, but deep down beneath all of that is a woman still struggling from her past. In spite of her anger and her past, she is still always trying to do the right thing and to help anyone in need, and treat everyone with kindness, regardless of who they are or where they come from.

Event: I am hoping to top level with Tifa at the event this month since she never got one on the TDM or the maiden voyage log, but we shall see! I always find I thrive better with her when I tag out, so I will gauge it when the time comes! But things I am interested in so far:

🌠 She wants to help with the treats! And participate in all the cool festivities since I don't think Gaia has anything like it.
🌠 DANCE WITH HER, oh my gosh please. She is very shy so she will need someone to coax her onto the dance floor, but as soon as she manages to get out there, she will have such a lovely time. Gimme all the cute dance threads, thank you!!
