ENABLE ME TIMBERS: OCTOBER 2024

YO HO HO EVERYONE! This is an ATP/EMP post where players can make cast requests for people to app into, or make ads for characters they are considering bringing into the game. It works like any other ATP/EMP, but we do have a few things to note down:

» Invitations are required to reserve and apply! But you can go ahead and post to the ATP/EMP post with a note you need an invite. You can either rely on a current player for help, or you can directly request an invite from the mods.

» We have a 65 player cap.

» Players can only app 2 characters at once with a max limit of 3 in game. But since this is an ATP/EMP, feel free to put more if you're having trouble deciding!

» Our Game Info should cover everything you need, from basic premise summary to the nitty gritty details of the game mechanics. If you have any questions, post them there.

» Just want to make it clear that this is not a claims page. While we give priority to whoever is on the Reserve list, we do allow app challenges, and there is no rule against multiple players TDMing the same character. Of course we don't want there to be too much conflict, so everyone please be polite no matter who it is.

» TDM is Friday, October 18. This TDM will double as our Ghoul's Moon event, but we will include a traditional "starter prompt" for TDM specific characters. Everything will be carried over as canon!

» Reservations open Friday, October 25th.

» Applications open Friday, November 1st.

SILCO!!!!

Put him on with the Paladins just to irritate him. Reno would be an excellent little right hand man as well, though I will say beware since Reno will put a wrench in whatever he's doing if the Avalanche crew is put in harm's way. BUT OTHERWISE god he would be so fun to play off of.

Also if I bring Sett, he'll have someone at least from his world! Even if Ionia is a continent away..

I do like irritating him, yes. It's okay, Silco isn't in a habit of trusting people with his back without testing them out first, so I figure he'll discover the sticking point sooner than later.

OMG yay someone from Runeterra! He's read books on other places but I figure he never left Zaun to go visit for... obvious reasons.

Definitely. It would be fun watching Reno work with another crafty bastard like Rufus, as well, though this time he won't be able to really sink his little fingies into the grand scheme of things. Honestly it would tempt him more, he's such a nosy brat. But that will be his sticking point.

He'll have to dance around Reno and Arlecchino both, or maybe work an unsteady alliance--all options for things to plot for! But on god, I'd pay you to help set up a bad-ass scene similar to what he did to the other chem barons at that meeting. That'd be so cool.

Yes! Sett will be familiar with the name Piltover, but not know much else. While he won't be a hindrance to Silco, he wouldn't be very interested in helping, either. He'd probably get on Silco's nerves as readily as the other shitty chem barons for his brutishness.

I do plan on having Sett gain some traction among corsairs by doing what he does best back home though, so even if it is just dominion over a bunch of brutes and gladiators, there might still be reasons for them to interact. If nothing else, Sett will enjoy giving him a hard time every so often.

I mean, if he warms up to Silco, he can potentially get his fingers into the grand schemes when Silco makes them. He needs someone able to get him information after all. I think alliances will the paramount in a game like this with so many competing factors and thankfully, you all can choke on toxic air if he needs to bring them in line.

I'm sure he's come up with other creative ways to bring people in line. Never doubt the imagination of a man whose suffered his entire life and sees people most people as a means to an end.

So what you're saying is that Sett will annoy him but also gather a host of brutes that will be useful to Silco? Well, well, I can see him wanting to foster something there too.

Honestly Silco has good intentions for the people, even if he is more...abrasive about it. So frankly these two would actually vibe really well if they could get through each other's layers and realize both of them are willing to be the bad guys if that what it takes to get the right things done. Reno is a little more leaning towards good than Silco by nature, so that will still probably be a point to come up, since Silco doesn't have him by the throat like Rufus did. Does? Did.

Same w Arlecchino tho, so honestly they'd make a pretty effective triad.

If Silco wants to set up his own ship, I'd be down to toss Reno on it, and even Sett if the two can come to a solid business arrangement.

His revolution is good, but his methods are bad. So very, very bad. However, he's a product of his own generational trauma, so extreme methods will get him what he wants and if people hate him, whatever. He's willing to bad things for well-intentioned reasons! I figure that will make many people vibe with him, and while they may not agree with his methods, in general, he's smooth enough to adapt to settings and not be outright horrible all the time until he had power established :D

Silco intentionally gathering all the morally questionable people together to do morally questionable things together.

What are all relationships but a business transaction anyway? Except his daughter. That's... just weird.
