ENABLE ME TIMBERS: OCTOBER 2024

YO HO HO EVERYONE! This is an ATP/EMP post where players can make cast requests for people to app into, or make ads for characters they are considering bringing into the game. It works like any other ATP/EMP, but we do have a few things to note down:

» Invitations are required to reserve and apply! But you can go ahead and post to the ATP/EMP post with a note you need an invite. You can either rely on a current player for help, or you can directly request an invite from the mods.

» We have a 65 player cap.

» Players can only app 2 characters at once with a max limit of 3 in game. But since this is an ATP/EMP, feel free to put more if you're having trouble deciding!

» Our Game Info should cover everything you need, from basic premise summary to the nitty gritty details of the game mechanics. If you have any questions, post them there.

» Just want to make it clear that this is not a claims page. While we give priority to whoever is on the Reserve list, we do allow app challenges, and there is no rule against multiple players TDMing the same character. Of course we don't want there to be too much conflict, so everyone please be polite no matter who it is.

» TDM is Friday, October 18. This TDM will double as our Ghoul's Moon event, but we will include a traditional "starter prompt" for TDM specific characters. Everything will be carried over as canon!

» Reservations open Friday, October 25th.

» Applications open Friday, November 1st.

A very good way to smuggle, and there's one side that definitely encourages those with the know how to get up to what they can for as long as they can. Take some pride in it etc. ( •̀ ω •́ )✧

yeah i'll see about playing around on the tdm when it comes up and see what happens.

I mean, I fully expect him to join a crew that allows him to basically be a pirate and seize wealth and property for everyone's benefit but especially his own. Crime daddy at his best.

Better to know if it scratches an RP itch or not, definitely.

May very well find some Corsair crew willing- I can offer "Villian" crew that's essentially Ganondorf ToTK, Reaper Overwatch, and Sidestep Fallen Heroes.

He would probably fit in with the other villains well, though he would probably be the weakest link to a degree.

S'what I did after all, and got lucky it hit.

So long as he's got a sharp mind he'd likely do rather well- and might catch on to some degree there's some sneakery amongst the ranks.

Thankfully sharp mind and master manipulator is something he has in spades. He isn't above setting the others against each other either :|

Honestly? Reaper would probably want that to a degree, and he gets to play along.

This man essentially there to keep an eye on Ganon since the demon king reminds him too much of Akande lmao

Reaper no!! I mean... Reaper could also easily punch Silco's head off, but he has no doubt they could form some kind of alliance. Silco needs muscle, and he can get them the means for money, power and change.

Both of them are revolutionaries in their own ways.

An alliance where they both know the other is using them in some way- and lord they'd likely end up getting along to some degree of just chatting over stuff.

Honestly this is some CR well worth exploring in multiple degrees.

I mean, everyone needs a means to an end, and a mutual alliance like that knowing they can use each other to get to those means is useful.

It is true. I hadn't thought about it before, but it could work very well and be interesting. Bring out the worst in each other.

Knowing there is, not exactly trust but more something than can be relied upon to an extinct with each other. That sort of mutual interest that both know could go bad at any point- and yet them both sitting in some dark corner of the ship with a drink and talking some plan or other.

Me neither! But hell if this chatter alone hasn't made a spark to light up the potential of it.

Well Gabe, you aren't as pretty as Sevika, but damn would he be as useful if not more. Once they discover a mutual interest, they will probably set where they stand and keep it similar to a business association in a way.

At least he's handsome when his face remembers it's a face~ and Silco wouldn't even have him bat an eye. They'll get on like a house on fire, and time will tell if that's a good or bad thing for them; let alone anyone else. Business is business, after all.

It's one of those things that I do best- even if by accident!

Silco does not consider himself handsome but still takes pride in his appearance. I'm afraid that they will get on like a house on fire, god. I think they will recognize the value of one another and be fine with exploiting it for their own mutual ends.

GDI Leo.... we should meme something to see if it will work too.

There is also the fact that Reaper will be able to get Silco quickly out of the line of fire if the need ever arises. Just that yoink before Reaper goes off into it. Reaper's a sharp mind as well, so definitely able to maneuver with and around each other for whatever means.

G o d, we really should. Usually when we strike these sparks definitely set a blaze somehow.

Silco would appreciate this very much even if it will creep him out the first few times. How does a man go to smoke and back again? Oh well, that's body modification at its finest or something! I figure they will challenge each other mentally as well but keep similar enough goals to function well together.

Ugh right? I wasn't sure Silco would fit well with anyone in the game after all.

It has gone a little more eldritch with the added bonus of dark/shadow magic from his tattoo, too. Really leaning into being as dramatically creepy as possible because why not? That sort of thing that they can keep each other on their toes, or do something like playing chess every now and again with down time.

And then we started rambling about stuff together.

Of course he has! He's such a dramatic man and seeking new ways to become even more dramatic as he ages. Silco will appreciate leaning into those kind of theatrics honestly. He's just a regular guy with no powers to speak of :(

A man has to know how to put on a show when and where it counts- and Reaper is definitely one of those men that's had time to perfect and add on to adapt, that's for sure. If he feels like going for a tattoo that's more painted than tatted, Silco can get himself something to hide up his sleeve magic-wise at least~

This is also why we end up having a ball no matter what we do, too.

Reyes is more dramatic than a Jinx tea party at times; like calm down old guy, you don't have to be dramatic all the time! I do have to look more into the tattoo situation. I mean... I do like him being a powerless manipulator, but on the other hand, think of the terrible things he could do with a power?

It is very true!

Just most of the time, while in the Reaper persona mode! They are fully optional- there are some characters that wait months upon months due to not being sure about messing with magic etc. etc. and all that. The magic also comes in a wide range of elemental flavor- so you got dark and light along with the more traditional ones, amongst more. Something to think about (｡･∀･)ﾉﾞ
