ENABLE ME TIMBERS: JUNE 2024

YO HO HO EVERYONE! This is an ATP/EMP post where players can make cast requests for people to app into, or make ads for characters they are considering bringing into the game. It works like any other ATP/EMP, but we do have a few things to note down:

» Invitations are required to reserve and apply! But you can go ahead and post to the ATP/EMP post with a note you need an invite. If you know a current player, they can comment here to submit their invite for approval. Direct requests to the mods are currently closed.

» We have a 65 player cap.

» Players can only app 2 characters at once with a max limit of 3 in game. But since this is an ATP/EMP, feel free to put more if you're having trouble deciding!

» Our Game Info should cover everything you need, from basic premise summary to the nitty gritty details of the game mechanics. If you have any questions, post them there.

» Just want to make it clear that this is not a claims page. While we give priority to whoever is on the Reserve list, we do allow app challenges, and there is no rule against multiple players TDMing the same character. Of course we don't want there to be too much conflict, so everyone please be polite no matter who it is.

» TDM is Sunday, June 16th. This TDM will double as our Latrommi Event, but we will include a traditional "starter prompt" for TDM specific characters. Everything will be carried over as canon!

» Reservations open Monday, June 24th.

» Applications open Monday, July 1st.

Vanitas no Carte/ The Case Study of Vanitas

Noé is a particular sort of vampire, the Archiviste, which means he can see someone's memories and feelings when feeding from someone directly. He is told by his teacher to go and find out about this particular book that 'Vanitas' has and the ability/powers of this book. So he heads off and goes to find this Vanitas, and sees that he is helping the vampires with the abilities/power of this book, so decides to stick with the other, essentially in starting off the events of the series.

Personality wise, he is rather flighty in that he can be very easily enamored/distracted with things. It's easy for him to wander off and get lost - hence why Domi, his childhood friend, has a chain/leash on him at one point for example. He has a particular sweet tooth besides the obvious of drinking blood (tarte tatin is his favourite). He has a pet cat named Murr (big floofy grump who is always scratching his poor owner), and is especially protective of others, selfless in often standing in the way in protecting Vanitas or someone else in trouble. Partly because of that protective selflessness and partly because, you know, as a vampire, he can take a hit better. He is loyal, obedient in obeying his Teacher/Master's orders in sticking with Vanitas even if they don't immediately get on, and do sometimes disagree on things in clashing at times given Noé being more idealistic and naïve in comparison to the other. And because this is Mochijun yeah, he has hella trauma backstory because of course he does.

I would absolutely throw Nimona and Orchid at him as well.

But I can see him as Paladin, just because he always tries to see the good in people and do the right thing.

Nimona would have way too much fun with him and how sheltered and gullible he is oh boy.

But also. Hm. Yeah I thiiink maybe leaning more to Paladin?? I just haven't really thought too much on it yet but I'm starting on an app in case I do go ahead with this.

She would. Then she'd feel sorry for him and do something nice for him. Then tease him again. An endless cycle.

Noé is a good boy who can make friends with people that want to kill him. Don't let Vanitas be a bad influence.

The circle of life. Yes. Basically.

You putting it like that has me like oh oh that is why I adore him. It reminds me of Colette from Symphonia lol. But also lbr Vani will always be a gremlin influence. I love them both though.
