ENABLE ME TIMBERS: APRIL 2024

YO HO HO EVERYONE! This is an ATP/EMP post where players can make cast requests for people to app into, or make ads for characters they are considering bringing into the game. It works like any other ATP/EMP, but we do have a few things to note down:

» Invitations are required to reserve and apply! But you can go ahead and post to the ATP/EMP post with a note you need an invite. If you know a current player, they can comment here to submit their invite for approval. Direct requests to the mods are currently closed.

» We have a 65 player cap.

» Players can only app 2 characters at once with a max limit of 3 in game. But since this is an ATP/EMP, feel free to put more if you're having trouble deciding!

» Our Game Info should cover everything you need, from basic premise summary to the nitty gritty details of the game mechanics. If you have any questions, post them there.

» Just want to make it clear that this is not a claims page. While we give priority to whoever is on the Reserve list, we do allow app challenges, and there is no rule against multiple players TDMing the same character. Of course we don't want there to be too much conflict, so everyone please be polite no matter who it is.

» TDM is Monday, April 15th. This TDM will double as our First Tides event, but we will include a traditional "starter prompt" for TDM specific characters. Everything will be carried over as canon!

» Reservations open Wednesday, April 24rd.

» Applications open Wednesday, May 1st.

i know just enough about skies of arcadia to tell i can't imagine a more perfect character to app into this specific game with!!! wtf!!!

IT SURE IS A PIRATE GAME MUCH PIRATING HAPPENS, corsairs have been pretty classic pirates where as we got the shitty lil brigadiers over in paladins. we have a lot of really fun jrpg inspired side quests, too! there's usually a big monster to kill for lots of ic currency, and also sometimes the mods just put a meme in there. a couple months ago aerith unleashed garden gnomes upon the game,,,

also, escargot was actually the game that broke my own rp break! i can't recommend it enough for that, it's really fun with a lot of wiggle room for whatever you want to do. the playerbase is so open to working with each other, too!

i'm assuming escargot is autocorrect Doing Its Thing with escordvi--
but yeah, i'm still going back and forth on who would be the best fit, but it's been super nice to see people actually recognize skies???

LMAOOO last year i put the emp/atp meme and tdm into my calendar and autocorrect went with escargot and i've called it as such since.... one of the heads mods previous games was called empanadas so. just quietly carrying on the tradition 👀

oh man i started the game ages ago but never got back around to it tbh. but it was SO peak ps2 era jrpg, and i loved the cast. i remember vyse from valkyria chronicles mostly (oddly the only thing i remember??? from that game?) but i LOVE him and i think he'd be an awesome addition to the game. also do love megamanz and would love to see one of the dudes around so 👀👀

EMPANADAS OH MY GOD--

i played skies of arcadia on the dreamcast like, back at launch. it's one of those games that existed in a pocket and was never heard from again, but man, it just hit me right at that time. and i love vyse and i've wanted to play vyse for ages. i legit wasn't expecting either character to get a lot of demand, but COLOR ME SURPRISED
