PLAYER INTRO: SEPTEMBER 2023

YO HO AND AHOY EVERYONE! This post is our catchall gathering place for all new and old players to meet and greet. Introduce yourself and the character you're bringing in, giving us whatever info you feel comfortable with! Don't forget to join the Discord server if you haven't already! The invite code will be in the app notice.

Hello everyone!

My name is Xae, and today I'll be bringing you two young women. Nimona from Nimona will be joining everyone among the Paladins, and Velvet Crowe from Tales of Berseria is here to be the terrible influence among the Corsairs. Feel free to add me over on Tsukeru, and I'll be in the game discord!

Nimona pinksidekicking is a shapeshifter and the only one of her kind in the world, so that means people tend to view her as a monster. She lives in a kingdom with knights, but there's plenty of tech to go around. Enough about that, Nimona is a thousand-year-old being, who is sick of being thought of as a monster - it's become something of a trigger for her. So she decides that she's going to be a villain's sidekick, to bring down the "system". On the exterior, she has a rough, gremlin attitude that loves mayhem and chaos, but deep down, she is a severely depressed individual that may have suicidal tendencies that I will always mark for! So I'm looking forward to people accepting who she is. Oh, Nimona generally takes the shape of a girl, but is honestly perfectly fine in a male form.

Note: Nimona can take the shape of any person she has seen before. I will usually leave this open for you all to decide if she looks like your character.

Velvet Crowe lordofcalamity is a creature known as a daemon (specifically a therion), which is basically someone/thing corrupted by Malevolence (dark emotions). She is violent, angry, and out for revenge on someone that isn't here, so she'll likely be a little pissed off about that for a while most of the time. She prefers like-minded individuals aka those who do what they want, without getting in her way too much, but does have a soft spot that you might need to squint in order to see at first. Uh, chances are good that Velvet (and probably Eizen) will be attempting to steal a ship for themselves in the future. So they will be looking for a third Corsair to join them eventually.

Hi! Zack is already Nimona's favorite person in game so far, so I'm looking forward to building on that. And now that I've gotten through all major FFXVI spoilers, I definitely need to toss Velvet at Joshua.

Hi again! Thanks. When I first saw that Lae was considering a pirate game, Velvet was the first thought. She's definitely a rough one for approaching! Nimona is much more friendly! If a little chaos/violence prone.

Thankfully Kotori is used to being adopted by extroverts. And maaaaybe Kotori can be a calming influence? Or at least a "placate/distract with food before Nimona goes on too bad a bender."

Yeah, Nimona is here to handle all awkward conversations, Kotori. And it's very possible! The food will definitely work, for sure. Especially to start.

She also knows how to cook, so please allow her to show off her skills!
