YO HO AND AHOY EVERYONE! This post is our catchall gathering place for all new and old players to meet and greet. Introduce yourself and the character you're bringing in, giving us whatever info you feel comfortable with! Don't forget to join the Discord server if you haven't already! Yo ho ho! Hey everyone! I know. Actually prob quite a few of you from my prior Song days lol. But this is Caprica, and I decided to give this a try with one Sorey from Tales of Zestiria. He is the most sheltered and clueless and reckless/selfless people ever basically. That is part of why he takes on the role of the Shepherd back home (basically, he takes the responsibility/duty to help cleanse the world from Malevolence - like bad/dark vibes/emotions that can mess with people over time.) because he tends to take on too much in wanting to help and will likely push himself while here too (esp without his water buddy bff Mikleo).

He has been raised in a teeny village called Elysia as the only mortal/human there raised by seraphim (or malakhim going by Berseria timelines, basically elemental spirits sort of deal). This is why he has such a high resonance or spiritual sense, and why he is able to take on the role of the Shepherd to work with the seraphim and act as sort of an in between in relations between them and the humans in helping deal with the Malevolence. He is going to find all this very interesting and be All Over the idea of exploring/finding treasure/ruins and learning about this place and the history. He is a History Nerd. And loves goblin carts. I'm sure he will also love boats too.

Here in Escordvi, he is in the Paladin armada. He will also apparently keep the ability to Armatize (basically think ala Dragonball fusion) with the seraphim/malakhim here (with player permission of course!) and also keep his resonance so that might help him pick up on some thing others might miss??

Uh. what else. I'm a Kiwi so odd timezones ahoy. I'm also gonna initially be slow because lol my timing in being sick is the Worst (I lasted three years as a teacher without getting Covid! Somehow. Only to get it this week.) My plurk is over @ caprican if anyone wants. I also have Discord if anyone wants that, just ask.

Hi Caprica! Welcome to the game! It's Mich and I'll be playing Zack from FF7 & Joshua from FF16.

ONCE AGAIN WE SHARE A GAME it's like destiny. I'm so thrilled that you've brought Sorey here because I am HANKERING for cr with him. I think it'll be so fun to have Zack and Sorey be great paladin bros.

Mich!!! I am totally here for Mich cr again!! Zack and Sorey can be clueless country bumpkins together. Unsure how much mingling will be with the Corsair and Paladins but I look forward to seeing Joshua around too!

and Joshua is a corsair but he's the good type so mingling will probably be okay!

They can fumble their way around this together. Probably. Somehow. And I mean. In Mikleo's absence Sorey needs others to help keep him being too reckless. And trusting for that matter.

Joshua was my fave for XVI so I'm excited to see him around and get cr! He might remind Sorey a little of Lailah with the Phoenix abilities? But I feel like they could have cute cr too.

I remember! I look forward to being here and maybe getting some cr. ngl I was. Debating for Laphicet again but went with Sorey in the end.

Sorey is a good boy, as is Laphi; I'm a smidge more canonblind to Zest than Bers, but Kotori could always one more peers to hang out with, especially since she has zero prior experience with adventuring before getting isekai'd.

Well, Sorey has grown up running around hunting and exploring and setting off traps in ruins with Mikleo since they were bitty so he can prob at least give her some advice. But in terms of like. Social stuff he is prob more clueless because of growing up so sheltered in Elysia with only a few seraphim around.

Ha, well... Kotori isn't that much more adept herself, despite having a normal-ish childhood. (She's a bit of a space cadet unless it involves food.)

Anyways hi!!!! I’m Azure and I’m bringing in Ky Kiske from Guilty Gear! if you’re canonblind it’s okay, i completely understand. but I will be asking for cr because Sorey is my favorite tales protag bless this baby boy really

I know of the Guilty Gear games but I haven't actually played them myself. Still. Hi? I just felt Sorey might fit with this game and that Laphicet wouldn't meet the age requirements so. Let him go explore and find more ruins!

but yeah!! I think he fits as well, and tbh if Sorey’s gonna be off and finding ruins, why not drag a secret nerd with him? according to canon Ky doesn’t know much of the world and has been traveling to find more so like. it would be good for him to have someone like Sorey to push him out of his comfort zone

I'm more a Tekken player and even then it's been Forever since I played that with like. Tekken 3/Tag or something at this point.

Sorey is taken from pretty early on so isn't as well traveled, but he is curious and excited to see this new place.
