CR WORKSHIP: JULY 2025

Our CR Meme CR Workship is where players can drop all the cool info for their characters and try to plot with others to continue existing or create new CR. Be sure to look over the MANTA Board as well as current events if you'd like to include them in your post.

We also include a designated toplevel for Crew Recruitment where players can make OOC ad posts for others to either join or request to join or make a crew. This is all for OOC coordination, so you'll have to figure out how it works ICly.

If you have multiple characters, make an individual toplevel for yourself with your player info and comment to it with each character separately.

About: Former member of the evil black-coated Organization XIII, Saix was pretty bad and did a lot of mean stuff. It's easy to do when you don't have a heart, right? Then he was temporarily a whole person, remembered doing that stuff, and felt really bad about it. So he voluntarily lost his heart again, went back to the Organization, and started working against it from inside. Saix is intelligent, practical, and great at playing the villain. He is trying to be good, but given his current lack of a heart, that may be harder than he'd like.

Abilities: Physically, fighting with a bigass claymore and lunar magic. Mentally, Saix is great at organizing and managing things. If Microsoft Excel existed in Kingdom Hearts Saix would be the lord of spreadsheets. He's also somewhat good at managing difficult personalities, mostly because he doesn't really care what (most) people think of him.

PLANS

General: At this point, just getting settled in. Right now, Saix's first and highest priority is making sure no actual members of Organization XIII are here. Until he knows that, he'll be very cagey with everything he does - because back in his world, he was in deep cover, slowly betraying them. He doesn't want to be honest about anything until he knows it won't screw him over.

Once he's relaxed a little, he'll want to keep busy, and he'll want to find quiet, not too heroic ways to do good. He's got a lot to make up for. As a player I'm still getting my footing in RP and in the game, so I'm not too sure what that'll look like yet!

Saix does not expect welcome or friendship from his castmates, since he's done bad things to pretty much all of them at one point or another. He'll be... not exactly avoiding them, but giving them space.

CR Dreams: I'm open to pretty much anything, and love trying out interesting combinations of characters to see what kind of CR we can make. For Saix in particular, he's trying hard to do good and be better than he was, but without a heart or real emotions he knows very well that it's easy for him to step off that path. Though he would absolutely jump off a cliff before admitting it aloud, he'll be on the lookout for people who he can use as examples - people he thinks are doing the right thing, who he can look to for guidance.

Also, if anyone hangs out with too many wacky personalities and needs someone chill around to do things like make sure chores get done on time and set up a schedule for who walks the dog when (or whatever, you get me), Saix can do that for you.

I'm still figuring out my own CR plans. But before anything, Axel is meeting up with the rest of the KH cast to panic about his 'old flame' being here get better FILLED IN on the FUTURE so that should help some things.

I promise it won't be the norm to exclude Saix, so don't worry on that. Consider this the panic meeting that decides that Saix will be allowed at future cast functions.

If you want Crew Reccs 'The Raiders of the Lost Arts' is the one I mentioned before (because MOON themes and less subtle heroics). It's listed as a 'Corsair' ship but that doesn't matter. Every crew allows mixes of both. There's a tab to see them all on the navigation page. As a Paladin you can stay on the Royal Fortune as long as you want anyway. Some people never leave.

You. You don't want to be on Plus Ultra 'feral teen island'. Trust him. Sora joined Roxas' boat and proceeded to fill it every hero teen protag around. No matter how good you are doing, feral teen island would break you before you even start refinding yourself, Isa lol it's for your own good.

Saix probably needs the space to acclimate himself, but I'm also game for any bounty (and yeah Phantom Thief is DEFINITELY a draw!) if you want me.

Alternatively-- if you'd like a chance to foster some trust, I was still thinking about having Axel run in with a monster that causes Blindness/Silence. (We have the equivalent of a FF Malboro we just call them 'Balmoros') if Saix wants to bring him a cure from the locals? If Axel is blinded/muted (until the medicine kicks in) he won't be in a position to run or refuse the help and much more willing to talk. It could be a good chance for them.

But! I'm also happy to just keep winging things! I always put plotting plans on plurk so we can always come up with something on the fly there too.

Saix absolutely DOES NOT want to be stuck on a ship full of heroic teens, that would basically be his hell. They also would not have a good time at all with him there. Saix IS the Fun Police. I'll check out the other one! For now I think he'll just hang out on the Royal Fortune while he's getting his bearings (and while I am).

I love the idea of pinning Axel down with some status effects. They need to actually talk, which is something they're both just absolutely awful at. Saix wants to, but doesn't really have the first idea how to start when they're coming from such different places, so being put in a situation like that would give them a chance to work things out at a slower pace, I think. Also it would be very fun >.>

And yeah haha, even Axel needed Sora to convince him to initially stick around (and that Roxas would be sad). He knows Saix would NEVER tolerate more than visiting that environment. Baby steps!

Oh absolutely. Saix is not very good at actually being honest when he speaks (not that he lies, just... he's very good at avoiding things he doesn't want to, or doesn't know how, to talk about) so I fully abuse brackets to make that clear >.>

Axel is not a qualified babysitter so those kids better be careful!

Despite everything, I think she'll check up on him a bit here since she knows what it's like to try and be better. Obviously she'll also be pretty interested in A Phantom Thief so perhaps we could do something there?

I can also offer Arkady as someone who could need more chill people in her life and also did something really bad once and is now trying to do the right thing more often than not.

I'd love that! Both of them, though I don't know much about Arkady. But Saix is definitely going to try to make up for some of the shit Namine went through, in his own confusing way. I could see them both being pretty motivated to investigate someone stealing hearts, though I also think they.... MIGHT not be very good at it, LOL.

In an attempt to get freedom Arkady and her friends accidently caused mini apocalypse. So she's spent a lot of time trying to atone haha and trying to figure out if she even deserves it. But she also has a pretty good moral compass

I don't have any solid plans! I might reserve the Phantom Thief one for some castmate interaction, given the heart stuff, but I'm super down for anything else. Maybe a bounty? I feel like they could both enjoy some good old monster smacking.
