YO HO AND AHOY EVERYONE! This post is our catchall gathering place for all new and old players to meet and greet. Introduce yourself and the character you're bringing in, giving us whatever info you feel comfortable with! Don't forget to join the Discord server if you haven't already! Hello! I'm new here! Mich invited me! I'm terrible at talking about myself, but I'm going to give it a go!

I'm Heather, and I manage a cafe full time. When I'm at home, I crochet some (I have yet to finish a big project, and I think that says something about me). I enjoy indie RPG games as well as some mainstream stuff (if you hadn't noticed). I'm into horror novels and movies, hard rock, and viking music.

I'm bringing in two, one paladin and one corsair!

Dion Lesage is a classic Final Fantasy dragoon who also just so happens to sometimes turn into a dragon, though at the moment he can only turn into a very small (like 14 inches) dragon. He's been in Escordvi before, but has no memories of this place, but Cid has already offered him a role in the Hideaway, not that he's taken him up on it just yet. He probably will once he learns Joshua and Jill already signed up. He's earnest, kind, humble, and just all those qualities people think of when they think of a holy knight.

Fantomex is an assassin/bounty hunter with no affiliation save to one Betsy Braddock, but who will do Things for money, and will most likely be hunting bounties until someone gives him a higher purpose. Please try. He's a mutant/sentinel hybrid (if anyone's familiar with Marvel comics) who decided he didn't want his purpose in life to be murdering mutants and turned rebel. If anyone is familiar with French, he does have a French accent and goes by Jean-Phillipe. The accent is fake, just like everything else about his personality. He was built and everything about him is what he chose to be. He doesn't even speak fluent French! He's that guy who's willing to do what others don't have the stomach for, and it puts him at odds with others, sometimes even his own team.

I've enjoyed our thread on the TDM and Nimona is going to be bugging Dion lots more now that he's officially in game and sticking around. She often visits the Hideaway crew so he'll see her around there and even painted an awesome Eikon mural for Cid that includes Bahamut (she's only seen sketches). I'm going to add you on plurk if that's okay!

I loved our thread, and Dion is going to remember that Nimona said she spent a lot of time on Elah, and then be Concerned about the missing leviathan.

Hello Heather! I'm Avie, and I play Sherlock Holmes from Frogwares' Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened (2023). Dion, Cid's a pretty nice guy! You'll be in good company there. Fantomex is probably going to be glad that everything is auto-translated. No one will figure out he can't speak French fluently lol

Oh man, I have played Chapter One, but I haven't gotten the remake of the Awakened yet. I love Sherlock! So will Fantomex :)

He idolizes Phantomas, a thief character in French literature who had a crossover novella with Sherlock back in the early 1900s, he might secretly without letting on at all fanboy a lot

It's a much shorter, straightforward game, but damn does Sherry go through things compared to his older Frogwares' counterpart. He's very shaken from the whole thing

You mean wasn't Lupin enough? He had to cross paths with another French criminal mastermind? Everyone wants a piece of him. Hopefully Sherlock won't disappoint Fantomex too much for not being the master detective his name is known for

I just picked up the Thaumaturge, but it's definitely already on my Steam wishlist, so I'll grab it eventually. Yes! I heard they turned him into a proper Lovecraft protagonist. I can't wait!

Heya Heather! I'm Caprica, and I have two boys here, one in each armada faction. This tiny nerd here, Hiro from Big Hero 6, comes with an accompanying walking marshmallow robot healthcare companion, Baymax. He's a cocky prodigy that loves science and tech and robots. Hiro is in the teen super/heroes crew with Sora etc.

My other is Tony Tony Chopper from One Piece, a usually toddler-sized, adorable reindeer who is also a medic. He can change forms and talk etc because of having had one of the Devil Fruits back home (gives certain abilities depending on which Devil Fruit one eats, for example, shapeshifting/being made of rubber.....) He's on Zelda's crew as their one and only doctor on board.

I've played XVI and know of Dion (I just have yet to get to the DLC) and I am canonblind to your other but that has never stopped me.

Haa, got it. I wasn't sure since I haven't looked into the DLC yet, being distracted with other games (FFXIV and Baldur's Gate.) but I will get to it eventually! Good to know that it's at least not got anything new regarding him. I wasn't sure when exactly it was set etc to be sure if he might show up in it.
