ENABLE ME TIMBERS: OCTOBER 2023

YO HO HO EVERYONE! This is an ATP/EMP post where players can make cast requests for people to app into, or make ads for characters they are considering bringing into the game. It works like any other ATP/EMP, but we do have a few things to note down:

» Invitations are required to reserve and apply! But you can go ahead and post to the ATP/EMP post with a note you need an invite. You can either rely on a current player for help, or you can directly request an invite from the mods.

» We have a 50 player cap, but since this is only our second round and allow the public to request for an invite, we have temporarily upped it to 65 to give more breathing room.

» Players can only app 2 characters at once with a max limit of 3 in game. But since this is an ATP/EMP, feel free to put more if you're having trouble deciding!

» Our Game Info should cover everything you need, from basic premise summary to the nitty gritty details of the game mechanics. If you have any questions, post them there.

» Just want to make it clear that this is not a claims page. While we give priority to whoever is on the Reserve list, we do allow app challenges, and there is no rule against multiple players TDMing the same character. Of course we don't want there to be too much conflict, so everyone please be polite no matter who it is.

» TDM is Friday, October 13th. This TDM will double as our Halloween event, but we will include a traditional "starter prompt" for TDM specific characters. Everything will be carried over as canon!

» Reservations open Wednesday, October 25th.

» Applications open Wednesday, November1st.

Trafalgar Law

Law is the captain and doctor of the Heart Pirates. He's a swordsman who's tall, dark, and broody. But also kinda smart and likes to plan everything a thousand steps into the future until a certain monkey derails everything and likes to see everything happen in order.

He's good under pressure, and willing to work with anyone as long as they're strong.

Law is also a giant goof. He tries to hide it, but he reacts like a child whenever something he enjoys is brought up (like ninjas) or meets someone who's cool (like a ninja). He enjoys being childish from time to time, but always puts his mission in front of everything.

His goal in life is to get the One Piece, and making friends is totally not needed.

Also, I'd be taking him from after Wano!

THE BLURB

Enterprise is a Yorktown class aircraft carrier! She's THAT Enterprise, the one named Gray Ghost who faced off against the whole of the IJN! She's a bit of workaholic when she sees something that she feels needs to be done. Sometimes to the point of collapse. Enty is also the type to go off on her own, especially when she feels something might be a danger to others. Basically, Enterprise always puts everything she has into whatever she does and will sometimes run headlong into a problem by herself. Deep down, everything she does is for the ideal of peace, justice, and freedom. Having seen many of her own friends, and her two sisters, be harmed or worse; she doesn't enjoy seeing people being hurt, and just wants to live peacefully, or help bring about a world where others can do so.

...She is also a bit of a massive dork that enjoys junk food, despises lemons, and likes to be praised and given love.

AZUR LANE

Bremerton is bubbly, almost always has a smile on her face, and likes to help others. She is very considerate and kind, while also being loud and showy. Bremerton enjoys being who she is and showing it off to the world. Everything from how she dresses and talks is nearly always filled with energy. A person can expect to see her either at a party, shopping for new clothes, jewelry, or makeup. Or even the latest fashions. All that said, she is still very much capable of being calm and contemplative and will look to give advice to others where she can. She's also no slouch when it comes to fighting, she is still a warship after all~!

Also tennis, she enjoys playing tennis in her off time! Expect her to be the happy-go-lucky-big-sister type!

Syzoth/"Reptile"

Using my Nappa journal for this because I don't have a Reptile one yet nothing to see here~

The OG MK secret boss and Outworld Story Mode Jobber, Mortal Kombat 1 finally threw Reptile a much-appreciated bone by making him a hero and giving him a chapter of the story mode. Syzoth (sometimes known by the code-name "Reptile") is a Zaterran, a race of lizardpeople living somewhere in the reaches of Outworld, but a crucial difference set him apart from the rest of his people. Syzoth has the mutant ability to assume a human form, and this ability made him an outcast among his people. Briefly forced into a stint as an unwilling servant of traditional series bad guy Shang Tsung to keep his family safe, he eventually joins the good guys and post-game gets a job in the court of Outworld's new Empress Mileena as her imperial ambassador to his own people, and got a hot ascended demon gf to boot. Discovery of a conspiracy amongst his own people as a sequel hook notwithstanding, all told, right now things are comin' up Syzoth!

I'm leaning Paladin for him due to Syzoth's position in Mileena's court, and his experiences as Shang Tsung's henchman making him wary of a group like the Corsairs. If you need someone to act as a "face" or maneuever courtly dealings, why not consider the acid-spitting lizard monster ninja? He's also a skilled fighter with the ability to produce and control acid, as well as make himself invisible, making him good for stealth ops and recon-gathering, and his lizard form allows him to climb and swim real good, a package of skills I hope will make up for the fact that as of right now, Syzoth is currently completely pants at actual sailing stuff.

Daria Morgendorffer

Preferred Armada: She would be unsure at first but would be more inclined to join Corsairs because military enforcers of justice would strike her as very iffy.

Daria is from a canon that obviously doesn't have otherworldly things happening (unless you count that iffy holiday episode but we can't take that seriously). So I'm more inclined to have her CRAU from another game where she has more experience and a stronger more sympathetic code to others she's more willing to show. So she would be post canon and aged a couple years. Her journeys through the magical planes will give her insight of exploration equally survival. With more freedom to do what she wants, and not tied down to meager labor, she'd be more willing to look for writing inspiration and surviving on her own cord. Fairly willing to meet allies, once you get over the initial mistrust she might have.

Daria understands now that her life was incredibly sheltered and, thus, is more open to perspectives of others. But because she's Daria, she still follows a code of honor and overall cynicism to those of power. So she's not above learning from others when it calls for it, and talking nonsense with people who are willing to hear her out. Or share a snarky quip or two. Because of her hidden insecurities and fears to things she doesn't understand or feels unsafe, she could be persuaded to undergo experiences she wouldn't have dreamed to accept. Or force her to live a little and have fun. Fun of all kinds, maybe even thrills she won't forget. Or bonds she'll forever treasure.
