Our CR Meme CR Workship is where players can drop all the cool info for their characters and try to plot with others to continue existing or create new CR. Be sure to look over the MANTA Board as well as current events if you'd like to include them in your post.
We also include a designated toplevel for Crew Recruitment where players can make OOC ad posts for others to either join or request to join or make a crew. This is all for OOC coordination, so you'll have to figure out how it works ICly.
If you have multiple characters, make an individual toplevel for yourself with your player info and comment to it with each character separately.

Zelda's floating circusHand and Hearth, a Paladin-chartered mixed crew.About: A humanitarian relief organization dedicated to providing healing and medical care to people in need. (Think along the same lines as the Red Cross.) They operate a hospital ship and will sail anywhere that people need aid, even into the middle of an active crisis. Despite being chartered with the Paladins, they try to remain as politically neutral as possible-- something that is incredibly difficult in the current climate!
Pitch: If you're an altruistic soul who really wants to help people (and not already a member of the Boy Hero Squad), you might get along well in a crew run by an idealistic princess-in-hiding. The crew's main focus is running a hospital ship and acting as first responders in times of crisis, so anyone with medical skills or healing magic would be extremely welcome. (They still don't have any doctors or healers 🥲) But characters with other skills won't be turned away!
Zelda treats her crew like a place of employment, so crew members earn wages (except for Darin; he gets paid in other ways). But it's a non-profit, so don't expect great pay.
You can join as either a permanent crew member or a temporary contract worker. Temporary contracts are for people who want to help with Hand and Hearth's mission but don't want to leave their current crew. If you're interested in a temporary contract, please fill out the form on the crew page!
If you wanna join as permanent crew, just comment here. ICly, potential crew members either need CR with Zelda or a recommendation from a current crew member.... but if you have neither of those, just comment here and we can figure it out!

Crew: The Hideaway
About: The Hideaway's purpose is a bit "loose," taking more of a independent, free to do what you want direction. Taking the odd jobs, helping others, and just living a more "free adventure life" of the Corsairs, even acting something like "Robin Hood" with their actions. It's a place Cid hopes to foster the talents of others and help them feel like they belong somewhere. However, although the Hideaway is on the "nicer" side of the Corsair group, they still behave and act more like outlaws, willing to bend and break the rules if needed. Just usually for good.
Pitch: If you just want to have fun and have five powerful Dominants behind your back, this is the group for you! We're pretty loose and Cid himself tends to look at people for their talents (especially tech savvy!) and need for a place. So yeah a fun, comfy "found family" type of group. Cid is also running a "magitech" type business so, those interested in inventing and engineering are also welcome. With their own island, they'll be looking to develop more so they have the ability to have more independence if needed. Those who may want to stay in Escordvi long term may also find a place here as Cid is looking into it and the rifts. This does mean they will be more adventure/exploration bound in the near future! We'll definitely be taking advantage of those future Crew Quests 👀

Crew: The Scourge
About: Loot, pillage, plunder. Your stereotypical pirate ship up to no good and causing a rukus on the sea.
Pitch: BAD GUY SHIP BAD GUY SHIP BAD GUY SHIP yeah if you have a villain type and wanna go be a jerk, this is the place to be. Ganondorf really doesn't care if you do your own thing and is willing to help others with their plans as long as they align with his own goals, and as long as the favor is returned. About his only rule is to keep infighting off the ship.
Looking
Character: Faulkner
Looking For: Honestly, right now he's just trying to find his footing in this world; and he may not have that much to offer at first. Despite his river-themed past, he doesn't have much experience with boats and he never actually learned to swim (that would be disrespectful to the river!)
He does have ambition and determination, and would probably benefit from being pointed at missions to give him some purpose. I think he'd enjoy adventuring, in the long run.
Corsair-affiliated, with a strong 'rebel against presumably-corrupt law and order' streak, but not necessarily inclined to outright think of himself as a villain. (On the other hand, if you make it sound fun...)
Right now, he's just likely to jump at whoever happens to give him a chance.

Crew: Raiders of the Lost Arts, a neutral crew
About: A (currently) small crew with an interest in researching lost or ancient things (or pushing the boundaries of whatever niche interest you have). Legality not necessarily required.
Pitch: Anyone is welcome. Emet recently posted a public ad for interested parties. He calls himself the acting captain ever since the original, Dongfang, left suddenly. Since it's rather sad to have so much resources and no-one to use them, he's seeking out people to fill their numbers.
They have a fully-equipped ship with a small research lab and floating garden that's towed behind them. They also have an island base for the permanent members of their crew. Those from either armada are welcome!

Emet himself is basically his world's overseer of spirits and aliens are............not unknown to him.
So yeah he'd absolutely encourage spirit and alien research. With a mutter about how they better not send any messages up into space asking people why they're alive.
