Mini-Player Plot

Hey everyone, I'm kicking off the dust here be enacting a player plot!

Nappa's decided he's going to make a lot of money really fast by kidnapping Princess Zelda and forcing her boyfriend (with all his bed-buying money) Darin to pay her ransom if he wants her back. Just to be safe though, he's going to capture her just before this month's full moon and make sure the handover happens the night of, so if (when) things go badly, he'll have a surprise handy:

It's time for a Great Ape fight!

There are three main parts to this event.

Fight Great Ape Nappa
While there will be a main fight against Darin, in order to open things up a bit, other characters will have the chance to fight Nappa as well, maybe during lulls or in-betweens or what-have-yous. Since a giant monkey in space armour is likely to attract attention, even if Nappa is trying to keep to a relatively quieter part of Elah. I'd like to keep these threads to maximum of 7, and they will by necessity need to be brief; more than AC length, less than twenty posts at best. Characters can also be injured by Nappa, if you so desire.

If you're concerned about Dragon Ball power level bullshit, and don't know if your character could reasonably contribute, it's also important to know that Nappa is weaker in Escordvi; his Great Ape form is smaller, and not as powerful as it would normally be, thus allowing other characters to give him a run for his money.

Zelda Rescue
Furthermore, as Darin will otherwise be occupied with monke, we will need someone to rescue Zelda. This also gives the opportunity to be injured when Vegeta explodes, but not killed thanks to Zelda befriending the Saibaman while its prisoner. Also, please take note that I would prefer that this role be reserved for existing Zelda CR.

Saibaman Attacks
Besides Vegeta the Saibaman, Nappa will also be backed up by the rest of his pack. However, Saibamen are mischievous and malicious and Nappa's not exactly the most attentive guy, so they may wander off to other parts of Elah to cause mischief that other characters will need to put a stop to. This way, even if people don't want to directly participate in the fight, they can still deal with Nappa's Saibamen running rampant. Do with them as you like in these toplevels, even kill them. They are entirely disposable, but tougher than they look! There's a reason this pose is such a meme you know!

Taking Place
While the event itself will take place on the night of the full moon, I'm not actually going to start it until Saturday, February 22nd, so as to give people time with the event, and because that's when my Reading Week is so I won't be burdened with school and can focus more properly on this. Also, the "full moon" won't have a specific in-game date so as not to conflict with this month's event.

Character name: Gohan
Type of encounter: Realistically, if Gohan were to not hold back, you and I both know he'd be able to pretty effortlessly dispatch Nappa. But that's a big if, especially because Gohan knows he's stronger than Nappa and doesn't want to hurt him. So Gohan would play defensively, trying to minimize any damage he'd cause. Unless Nappa does something particularly heinous, like injuring (or worse) someone, Gohan's unlikely to actually try to fight him.

....If he does do something that would actually prompt Gohan to fight him, then godspeed Nappa you're gonna feel that in the morning.
Injuries: I'm okay with Gohan getting roughed up and beaten around, especially because he's going to hold himself back.
Questions: Dammit Nappa.

Character name: Sonic
Type of encounter: Sonic's all about super speed and being surprisingly durable for his teeny weeny size. He can't fly, but he can run up the sides of buildings and junk and launch himself like a spiky pinball. His strategy usually consists of slamming into whatever he's fighting really fast over and over until it breaks. Expect a lot of that lol
Injuries: WRECK THIS LITTLE DUDE!!! I'm pretty terrible so I'm down to break some BONES. He can hold his own for a while but he's used to fighting robots that break when he smashed into them, not so much super powered monkey aliens

Player name: Wahoo
Character name: Ranma Saotome
Type of encounter: Ranma's got your standard fare when it comes to shounen protag abilities. Super strength? Check. Superhuman speed? Checkarooni. Durable as all hell? You better believe that's a check. Ki-based attacks? No, I don't believe- Wait, no, that's a check. And if it comes down to it? He may finally get a chance to bust out his strongest final attack: uppercutting out a ginormous cyclone that redirects any opponent/opponents strength right back at them. He's battled supersized monsters in the past, Great Ape shouldn't be anything new for him. He'll be playing a mix of defense-offense of ducking and dodging, and getting in close to dish out as much damage as he can.
Injuries: MESS HIM THE HELL UP!!!! He can take quite a beating, so I'm definitely down for any bones getting crushed to saw dust.

Character Name: Emet-Selch
Injury: I'm not familiar with the canon so I don't know how much warning there will be before the explosion but I'm okay with most non-lethal injuries regardless. (I want Emet to participate in March's event so he just has to be Not Dead, lol. Being injured will make him easier to abduct anyway.)

I'm also okay with Emet assisting the rescue rather than being the main saviour, if Zelda's player has a particular preference amongst those throwing their hat in the ring.

Character Name: Miriam
Injury: I'm fine with injury! Extensive or otherwise, as long as she can walk for March's event. She also has a native healing factor boosted by her temporary lycanthropy.

Bonus: Miriam will be a werewolf by the time the full moon hits and may or may not have fully realized it and/or is doing repressed emotions Olympics to avoid doing a chomp (she might do a chomp if a player wants).
