ENABLE ME TIMBERS: FEBRUARY 2025

YO HO HO EVERYONE! This is an ATP/EMP post where players can make cast requests for people to app into, or make ads for characters they are considering bringing into the game. It works like any other ATP/EMP, but we do have a few things to note down:

» Invitations are required to reserve and apply! But you can go ahead and post to the ATP/EMP post with a note you need an invite. You can either rely on a current player for help, or you can directly request an invite from the mods.

» We have a 65 player cap.

» Players can only app 2 characters at once with a max limit of 3 in game. But since this is an ATP/EMP, feel free to put more if you're having trouble deciding!

» Our Game Info should cover everything you need, from basic premise summary to the nitty gritty details of the game mechanics. If you have any questions, post them there.

» Just want to make it clear that this is not a claims page. While we give priority to whoever is on the Reserve list, we do allow app challenges, and there is no rule against multiple players TDMing the same character. Of course we don't want there to be too much conflict, so everyone please be polite no matter who it is.

» TDM is Friday, February 14. This TDM will double as our Dragon's Gale event, but we will include a traditional "starter prompt" for TDM specific characters. Everything will be carried over as canon!

» Reservations open Saturday, February 22nd.

» Applications open Saturday, March 1st.

Do you like Pokémon? Do you play anyone from Scarlet/Violet, or any of the others that came before? Boy, would weAND ME!! ESPECIALLY ME!! There's so much to explore and discover in a world covered by ocean and islands; it's honestly a wonderful environment to get so much adventure packed into, along with plenty of room for character arcs and forming strong bonds.

I play Professor Turo(AI) of Violet and I'm having an absolute ball with the guy here in Escordvi- and as said already, I would love other characters from Violet or Scarlet, and would also love to have anyone from any other installments of the wonderful world filled with Pokémon. This game setting just feels like Pokémon characters would thrive.

Preferred Armada: Undecided- Paladin would suit her background with the Inquisition, Corsair speaks to her heart's love of mayhem.

Lace is a Ferelden born-and-bred farmgirl who signed up with the Inquisition in its infancy a decade past with the desire to do what she could to protect the people she loved and, just maybe, find some high adventure along the way. She served as one of the organization's premier scouts throughout its run and, later, assisted Varric in hunting Solas across Thedas before they decided he knew them both too well and worked together to assemble a new team to get the job done. In addition to tracking down potential teammates, Harding has enthusiastically served as a founding member of the Veilguard as well as serving as the Inquisitor's eyes in the north.

Harding has seen a whole lot in the last decade, but she would be thrilled with the prospect of new lands to explore! I think she would do well in either armada, and would bring a skillset tailored to exploration and recon. She's also a hobbyist botanist, and would love to see how all these unfamiliar plants could be put to use. Adventure on the high seas would be something new for her, but it would be a welcome and well-earned changed of pace after the last several years!

Also, she recently learned to hear and talk to rocks, and became an earthbender. That's a thing.

Dragon Ball (Z/Super/GT/Daima)

Do you like big buff men screaming their lungs for three episodes straight as they initiate their flashy glowy transformation scenes? What about goofy slapstick comedy the likes of which could only come from the 90s? Do you enjoy having a completely destroyed sense of time making you wonder just how long five minutes really is?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, congratulations! You might be a teenaged boy from the 90s! And that means you should consider playing a character from the Dragon Ball franchise! Take your pick, bring in someone from the Z era, or the Super era, or maybe even engage in complete chaos and pick up a character from the GT or Daima series. How do they fit into the main timeline of the series? Kami only knows.

We've got Gohan [Cell saga (Z)], Goten [Tournament of Power (Super)], and Nappa [Saiyan saga (Z)]. Consider bringing Goku, Piccolo, Trunks, Vegeta, or any of the other numerous characters introduced throughout the timeline of the franchise!

At this point I should give up on a third BUT ANYWAY. Shizuo is another character I used to play a lot and easy to pick up quickly. Coming from modern day earth but with superhuman strength capable of picking up and flinging around small vehicles, kicking cars, hurling stop signs, and all sorts of other things. Yet despite his quick to fire temper, he hates violence and just wants to live a quiet, normal life.

Too bad that's not happening.

I'm thinking Paladin would be an interesting fit for him since he did work at a debt collecting agency and he would probably be pissed off at the unruly Corsairs too often lmao. Even more interesting if he ever encounters one that isn't properly helping or upholding proper justice and laws lmao. Into the air they go—

This is Cait Sith. He's a cat, and he rides on a moogle, and he's just your totally normal 100% regular old ShinRa 9-5er, nothing weird to see here folks, let him tell your fortune!

Or you ever get pinged by a silly idea that snowballs? Yeah.

I'm hopefully looking to voice test him, though there are a few hurdles to get over first.
1. Icons. If anyone can point me in a direction, I would appreciate it.
2. Actually finishing the dang game. But in my defence, there is a lot of game to finish.

But, despite those, I'm willing to give him a shot and we'll see where things go!

FIRE EMBLEM: THREE HOUSES

Three different houses and four different divergent paths means that there can be a lot of variety when talking about canon points. There are a lot of really neat characters and in depth backgrounds all while taking it as seriously as Lin and sleeping. Or maybe it's as serious as a rampaging boar. Either way~

Honestly, it's a tactical game, but Three Houses actually does have a lot of world building and complicated ethical and moral dilemmas. It's a game that I've found myself coming back to numerous times. There's a character type for whatever appeals.

The original sin, the king of hell, the little big man himself! He's been MIA for millennia, but with the recent advent of his daughter's rehabilitation hotel, Lucifer has started to come creeping out of the mire of his depression with renewed hope.

He's been banished to Hell, and isn't supposed to leave. On top of that, being a Seraphim means there's nothing he's not used to being able to control or understand(he did have creation powers once up on a time), so being thrust into another universe will be Alarming.

Lucifer won't have any purpose or goals, but I think seeing so many humans from so many worlds with the same gift of free will that he gave Adam, Lilith, and Eve, and do beautiful things might be healing for the big guy. It'll be fun to have him swing in and out of things and events lackadaisically and play loose with him since he won't want to influence humans directly, but he'll come along for the ride to support or be with people. He's a good angel to have around if a character thinks a loved one is getting in over their head and might need a Get Out of Jail Free card.

His powers will be heavily nerfed, as in canon, he is an angel of creation. Plus as the sin of Pride, he is prone to trying to magically fix everything for others, so having that nerf is a good work-around. I think here at most it'll be lesser powers of transmutation, keeping his wings, up to two transformations a day, and item enchantment. Since there's no angelic weapons here, there won't be much that can kill him, but he could suffer!

Kingdom Hearts

Yo ho, Yo ho, a pirate's life for me?

Looking for Kingdom Hearts pals to join a small but mighty cast in the Not!Caribbean! All the benefits of being a pirate, none of the clunky sailing mechanics or annoying races against Luxord (unless you like that sort of thing).

The cast has expanded to include Roxas, Axel, Ventus, Vanitas, Young Xehanort, and Sora and we are happy to accept more members to the crew! The wilder the better, if I'm being honest! Bring out your rares! But also, anyone else would be more than welcome! I'd love to see Xion or the Twilight Town Crew, personally.

One Piece

Look. Everyone at least knows OF One Piece. Pirates go on adventures and found family with the crew. But here it is lonely because there is just Chopper and he misses his Straw Hats! We can't let that stand! This is literally a game about pirates and adventures and finding treasure! Bring me the pirates! You know you want to. Esco is perfect for pirates and OP and I have maintained that since opening and finally relented recently in bringing in the cutest doctor reindeer along.

Ignore that I am admittedly still way behind (I'm up to like. Thriller Bark?). I will get there. Eventually. I just want Chopper to have familiar faces around. As great as it is that others here are getting cr with him. He misses the Straw Hats and their hijinks. Or heck, if someone wants to bring in other cast beyond the obvious of the Straw Hats, I'd be keen! Like I said, I am behind but still getting through the series yet.

Final Fantasy VII

SE's most cherished darling. Who doesn't know about FF7 at this point tbh It's got everything. Late stage capitalism! Eldritch space horrors! Human experimentation! PTSD! Impossible weapons! An absurd amount of spinoffs! Butyeah. FF7 has a ton of characters and settings to draw from, and with the remake project in full swing, it's great to see so many of the characters in the wild. We have representation from more or less all areas of Compilation material, so come and join us!

We're currently 6/10 of the cast cap and there's plenty of room for more! We have Cloud, Tifa, Red, Zack, Reno and Vincent and tbh, I'd give my right eye for Cid for Crotchety Old Guy funtimes. My left for Sephiroth and Genesis for drama~! (Sorry, Cloud and Tifa.) Otherwise, Cissnei, Angeal, Aerith, Cait, Barret or Yuffie would be A+.

What I'd like even more is Shinra representation! Reno's going it alone and he absolutely needs fellow sneakyskulky Turks for underhanded stuff- Or even a bossman. Escordvi has ample opportunity for underhanded things, and not having a full crew of Turks is a waste!
