ENABLE ME TIMBERS: DECEMBER 2024

YO HO HO EVERYONE! This is an ATP/EMP post where players can make cast requests for people to app into, or make ads for characters they are considering bringing into the game. It works like any other ATP/EMP, but we do have a few things to note down:

» Invitations are required to reserve and apply! But you can go ahead and post to the ATP/EMP post with a note you need an invite. You can either rely on a current player for help, or you can directly request an invite from the mods.

» We have a 65 player cap.

» Players can only app 2 characters at once with a max limit of 3 in game. But since this is an ATP/EMP, feel free to put more if you're having trouble deciding!

» Our Game Info should cover everything you need, from basic premise summary to the nitty gritty details of the game mechanics. If you have any questions, post them there.

» Just want to make it clear that this is not a claims page. While we give priority to whoever is on the Reserve list, we do allow app challenges, and there is no rule against multiple players TDMing the same character. Of course we don't want there to be too much conflict, so everyone please be polite no matter who it is.

» TDM is Saturday, December 14. This TDM will double as our Winterstide event, but we will include a traditional "starter prompt" for TDM specific characters. Everything will be carried over as canon!

» Reservations open Wednesday, December 25th.

» Applications open Wednesday, January 1st.

So I've had this little ball of inferiority complex bouncing in my head ever since I finished the Pokemon DLC, and I figured I might throw him onto the TDM this time around to see how he fares! Kieran is from the Pokemon ScarVi DLC, and is a friend-turned-rival-turned-Champion for both pieces of DLC. The canon point I'm considering is going to be post-Epilogue, after the whole Mochi Madness shenanigans. So he'll have gone through a couple adventures with the player by this point, but now it's time for an adventure of his own!

While Kieran's had a some time to get over his Ogerpon obsession, there's still some evidence that he's got a few personal issues he's working through, and I think it could be fun to play through those and see how he develops. I'm still very rusty with him, and I'm still considering a few things, but I figured throwing him into Esco could be fun for him to learn and grow and have his own moment now.

He really was my type wasn't he LOL even when his hair was down I was like "oh no, blorbo..."

Yeah like, just thinking on the ones I've seen you kinda play--

Roxas- kid saddle with a totally raw deal existance wise, anger issues for justified reasons, is a villain/adversary but only so much, but over all means well/just needs some help from friends

Wanderer- artificial construct given a totally raw deal, manipulated, embraces being a little shit and making it everyone elses problem, but really just needs someone to smack him down some and give a damn about him for him.

Kieran- shy kid, constantly put down, idealized a legendary Pokemon that his own sister kept secret from him so he wouldn't be upset he missed seeing her, becomes more and more upset how the Protag-kun/-chan gets all these amazing things he wishes for himself, including Ogerpon bonding with them, to the point he falls into antagonist mode of thinking strength is why he didn't get his dream, and full on destructively embraces that until someone helps save his ass and he gets out of his own head.

Basically they're all justified angy boys who got a kinda to REALLY raw deal, made it everyone elses problem, until they got smacked back down to earth and then helped back up by the protagonist. //nodnod.
