ENABLE ME TIMBERS: DECEMBER 2024

YO HO HO EVERYONE! This is an ATP/EMP post where players can make cast requests for people to app into, or make ads for characters they are considering bringing into the game. It works like any other ATP/EMP, but we do have a few things to note down:

» Invitations are required to reserve and apply! But you can go ahead and post to the ATP/EMP post with a note you need an invite. You can either rely on a current player for help, or you can directly request an invite from the mods.

» We have a 65 player cap.

» Players can only app 2 characters at once with a max limit of 3 in game. But since this is an ATP/EMP, feel free to put more if you're having trouble deciding!

» Our Game Info should cover everything you need, from basic premise summary to the nitty gritty details of the game mechanics. If you have any questions, post them there.

» Just want to make it clear that this is not a claims page. While we give priority to whoever is on the Reserve list, we do allow app challenges, and there is no rule against multiple players TDMing the same character. Of course we don't want there to be too much conflict, so everyone please be polite no matter who it is.

» TDM is Saturday, December 14. This TDM will double as our Winterstide event, but we will include a traditional "starter prompt" for TDM specific characters. Everything will be carried over as canon!

» Reservations open Wednesday, December 25th.

» Applications open Wednesday, January 1st.

i know we're all already sick of seeing rooks, but hear me out: i just think they're neat.
anyway, he's from the newest dragon age game, he's an elf, an ex-veiljumper, and he's a sweet guy who's done some not-so-sweet things in his past. he's here to flirt with everyone and stab gods in the face, so watch out. :)

I do not have a Dragon Age character here but am VERY MUCH a Dragon Age person and would be interested in bouncing off of a Rook (or anyone)! Come talk to Gale about the Fade, he'll chat with you about the Weave and Astral plane, it'll be great.

PLEASE, he is very interested in learning things!! even if he's also a reckless guy who smashes dangerous magic things and hopes for the best. ......... it's literally a miracle he's lived this long.

Gale is also reckless in the pursuit of magical knowledge so, you know, they have that in common, Gale is just able to make it sound like it was a calculated risk because he uses a lot of big words. Sometimes you just have to touch things!

I will say that while the game does not typically allow malleable protagonists, I feel like Rook is more like Hawke and Commander Shepard as Rooks have a defined/shared canon personality, but you might want to check in with the mods on that one to be sure. I would love to see Rook on the high seas, personally (RIP re: swimming, though), and I will be sure to touch him on a meme with one of my own DAs, I've been meaning to...

yeah, i took a look at the faq and it seemed like he fits the bill for allowable malleable protags, but i'll check to be sure!! the DA protags have a pretty well-defined series of personality choices + backgrounds, so.. hopefully..

and please do, i would love tags from other DAs 👀

If you see a Lace Harding or Dorian floating around out there, it just might be me— with an Emmrich in the near future once I am done with his romance.
