CR WORKSHIP: NOVEMBER 2024

Our ~~CR Meme~~ CR Workship is where players can drop all the cool info for their characters and try to plot with others to continue existing or create new CR. Be sure to look over the MANTA Board as well as current events if you'd like to include them in your post.

We also include a designated toplevel for Crew Recruitment where players can make OOC ad posts for others to either join or request to join or make a crew. This is all for OOC coordination, so you'll have to figure out how it works ICly.

If you have multiple characters, make an individual toplevel for yourself with your player info and comment to it with each character separately.

Character: Denji
Canon: Chainsaw Man - Chapter 80

About: A teenage boy who lived a life of misery after his deadbeat father passed away and incurred his dad's debt to the Yakuza, Denji initially makes a pact with a devil named Pochita to survive together in this cruel world. The pair survived by whatever means necessary selling his body parts, being a lumberjack most profitably hunting devils for the mob. Unfortunately the boy is fooled by the head of the Yakuza who was also the zombie devil, killing the boy and his pet devil Pochita along with him. However his little friend bestows upon its heart to give Denji another chance at life, promising to live out his dreams to the fullest as he became something more than human, a hybrid who was capable of transforming into the fearsome Chainsaw Man. He was then picked up by one Miss Makima of Public Safety and given the life he always wanted eating good food and a chance at achieving his once unfathomable dreams all while serving under her as a loyal dog killing devils aplenty.

General: At the moment Denji has been pretty occupied with his newfound canine companion, Cal, along his part-time work at the Seventh Heaven to pay for his exuberant amount of burgers and milkshakes he devours. On top of this he is currently accepting the fact he's got the dokis for a certain Hideaway princess who he's been spending quite a bit of time with recently who is going to start schooling him! Lastly but certainly not least he and Emet are working on creating a television and DVD Player so the masses can watch MOVIESSSSS. YEAH THAT'S RIGHT, MOVIES IN PIRATE LAND. You can often find him poking around Eltrut or Nogard given his handy dandy Ring of Returning now being able to traverse freely throughout various places within Escordvi.

MANTA Board:
Whale Helpers -> Denji and his partner in crime at the time Gojo first tracked down the poachers and may or may not have killed the lot of them leaving only a few survivors to tell the tale of their companions demise so he would totally be up for hunting down these buyers and take them in for questioning!

Hungry LA-Island-> Did someone say TREES THAT GROW MEAT!? Denji will be super excited at the prospect of going to Meat Island and eating his fill with a compatriot.

I'd also be up for either of the bounties too if people would like to throw down with his maniacal Chainsaw Man counterpart! I'll definitely be tagging out to people's TL's as well so if you want him somewhere please let me know. :)

Event: I've got a few specific plans sorted out thus far for the event such as Denji and Eustace venturing into the Farplane as the boy tries to use these 'rifts' to bring back his friend from beyond the grave, putting his life at risk until his big brother figure forces him back to reality. Meanwhile Tifa and him are going bond a bit further fighting some corrupted ghost monsters!

I'd definitely be up for hunting down the Cultists with Denji as well with new or existing CR since I don't have plans for that personally!

CR Dreams: Any and all CR! Denji is a bit of an unhinged teenager at the best of times with a rabid streak when it comes to decision making so be prepared for him to kick ass first and ask questions later. If you're lucky enough you might get to see his coveted devil form in action!

Etc.: Power is going to be replaced by Eustace during the event.

Beat and Denji should go to meat island together.

But for real I am totally up for Denji and Beat to team up and find some meat weapons! Which Denji will most likely eat himself because he's a hungry lad who don't need no other weaponry besides his beloved chainsaws in his life.
