PLAYER INTRO: NOVEMBER 2024

YO HO AND AHOY EVERYONE! This post is our catchall gathering place for all new and old players to meet and greet. Introduce yourself and the character you're bringing in, giving us whatever info you feel comfortable with! Don't forget to join the Discord server if you haven't already! The invite code will be in the app notice.

The CR Workship is also available for you to post into or check out and try to plot with others on there. Be sure to read our recent Captain's Log for any important announcements.

Hi there! I'm Taku, and I'm here to join the game with Azul Ashengrotto from Twisted Wonderland! Like fellow castmate Leona Kingscholar, he is a student from a high school that is basically filled with a magical cast of characters based on popular Disney Villains, with Azul in particular here based on Ursula from The Little Mermaid!

As such, on the surface, Azul has a friendly and helpful demeanor, as well as very business-minded given that he runs his own cafe called the Mostro Lounge back home. He's also known for being someone that can allegedly grant any desires a person has, through deals he can make using his magic and contracts... that can sometime skew more in his favor than his customers because he can be very greedy sometimes. I will have more info on this later on the cr workshop post for anyone who wants to make any deals with him during his stay in the game and have a magically binding contract for something with their name on it! (do not make deals with him you will probably regret it)

It should be noted that he is also an octomer, but takes potions to help him maintain a human form and would prefer keeping what he really looks like as secret as possible due to some self-image issues he has with said form... so, you know, good luck to him for that when he's stuck in a game that takes place on the ocean lol.

I'm really looking forward to how Azul and Leona are gonna be in the future, especially since they're both emotionally constipated boys with issues.

We got some budding CR with Joshua and Azul but I also have Zack Fair (ff7) and Izuku (my hero academia). I think Azul is such a good fit for this game. Have fun!!!!

Hello! I'm happy to see the TWST cast grow! I'm Avie. I play Sherlock from Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened, who has aquaphobia and Cthulhu trauma, so it is possible to be in an ocean world and not go into the ocean lol There are also charms to help breathe underwater for a limited amount of time, so there are Options for Azul. Act like he's afraid of water, and Sherlock will be all too happy to tell him what can be done because it sucks being on a world of water when you're afraid of water.

I also have a Sebek journal (I follow TWST-EN so no JP spoilers), and while I'm in no position to do so now, the growing cast is making me tempted to really consider if I could...

Oh no, Azul is definitely going to try to keep his octomer status a secret as soon as he meets Sherlock and realizes that he has that going on with him, rip...

And oooh, Sebek... if you ever decide to throw him in, I will be sure to thread with him too!

Let's not concentrate on Cthulhu. Let's concentrate on how to make life a little easier when there is so much water. That is an easier problem to solve. Kinda.

It's hard because I both want to play Sebek again, but I also know that he's taking a major role in the current book and want to wait for more. But it's not even over on the JP side!

Ahaha yeah, it's definitely why Azul's own canon point here is at the end of Chapter 6 since the current book is still ongoing even in Japan. It's probably going to be a while before it ends and becomes a good canon point to update to on global servers...

I only know twisted wonderland from like rp osmosis but i am really excited to see the cast grow because i love yana's designs. Plus Ursula is one of my favourite disney villains.
