ENABLE ME TIMBERS: AUGUST 2024

YO HO HO EVERYONE! This is an ATP/EMP post where players can make cast requests for people to app into, or make ads for characters they are considering bringing into the game. It works like any other ATP/EMP, but we do have a few things to note down:

» Invitations are required to reserve and apply! But you can go ahead and post to the ATP/EMP post with a note you need an invite. If you know a current player, they can comment here to submit their invite for approval. Direct requests to the mods are currently closed.

» We have a 65 player cap.

» Players can only app 2 characters at once with a max limit of 3 in game. But since this is an ATP/EMP, feel free to put more if you're having trouble deciding!

» Our Game Info should cover everything you need, from basic premise summary to the nitty gritty details of the game mechanics. If you have any questions, post them there.

» Just want to make it clear that this is not a claims page. While we give priority to whoever is on the Reserve list, we do allow app challenges, and there is no rule against multiple players TDMing the same character. Of course we don't want there to be too much conflict, so everyone please be polite no matter who it is.

» TDM is Saturday, August 17th. This TDM will double as our Diamond Dust Casino event, but we will include a traditional "starter prompt" for TDM specific characters. Everything will be carried over as canon!

» Reservations open Sunday, August 25th.

» Applications open Sunday, September 1st.

Mr. I Am Gundam.

Meme-able phrase that it is, Setsuna lives by this code. He’s a silent, almost cold individual, but he cares so damn much that he saved the earth from total destruction from aliens. It’s a lot. He’s gone through so much that he doesn’t want others to live the life he’s lived, and that’s what motivates him to pilot his Gundam.

I’m not sure if he’s a right fit here, but hey, that’s what TDMs are for! I’m just posting here to see if there’s people who’d like him here.

Ky Kiske is the First King of Illyria, a country that resides in present day Rome… and a soldier that fought to protect his world from the tyranny of Gears during the Crusades. He’s also very polite and of noble status, despite his history stating he wouldn’t be. He’s also a total dork when it comes to anything relating to tea. He means well, I promise.

This will be his second stint in Escordvi, given I played him way earlier but life got in the way. He’ll definitely remember what he’s done, but definitely more CR is in order.

But my vote is for Ky, on the grounds of having previously had some of the best CR with a (different) Guilty Gear (and I was playing a different character, but still), and what I know about the canon suggesting that it would be really fucking interesting to throw this little telepathic bio-android against the king.

For a couple of months, I have been introducing the chaotic nature of Ranma's world to the inhabitants and the world of Escordvi and causing some mayhem here and there. But you know what they say: the more, the merrier! I play Ranma as a mixture between anime and manga canon, so anime or manga-based characters are more than welcomed!

Currently, it's just the pigtailed jerk who is a Corsair. Ranma himself is currently apart of the PLUS ULTRA crew with all the other shounens, and they're more than welcoming to any others. Especially to people Ranma's familiar with.

Gine is gentle, kindhearted and pure, a rarity amongst Saiyans on Planet Vegeta. Originally part of a crew meant to cultivate and purge planets, she routinely needed to be saved by the leader due to her personality making her unfit for combat. This leader? Bardock. She fell in love with him, retired from fighting to work in the meat distribution center, and had two sons. Raditz, the oldest, and Kakarot, the youngest, whom she and Bardock would later save from their doomed planet.

I'm sure neither one of those two definitely have no significance in the overarching plot of Dragon Ball.

Itachi is the last of the Uchiha clan - mostly because he's responsible for killing them. He is a wanted ninja in his world (depending on canon point), and also plotted his and his little brother Sasuke's life out for them. Deep down, Itachi is a good person who tried his best to protect the person he cared about most by becoming the bad guy. He's a powerful ninja with ocular powers capable of driving people mad within an illusionary world, but all that power comes at a cost - his life and the vision in one eye. Itachi has already died twice in his canon thanks to a puppet resurrection spell and semi-made peace with his brother.

While he would make a good Paladin, Itachi would also fit right in with even the most ruthless Corsairs (even if he had his own ulterior motives for it) or with others who were also willing to play the role of the "bad guy" to save many others. He could finally have a life of his own and find a place in Escordvi.

TADASHI HAMADA

My techie young adult who gave his life trying to save someone in a fire. He is responsible and kind, going so far as to create a squishy robotic nurse that we all know and love. Tadashi has no supernatural abilities, but boy can he help create things here in Escordvi. He would be wary of the magic and tattoos at first, but I'd be a little mean and give him fire magic. And hey, if Pyro characters in Genshin can heal, why not Tadashi?

If both Tadashi and his little brother show up long-term, you can fully expect them to open a shop to create or maintain Escordvi versions of your favorite tech.

ALPHONSE ELRIC

Fullmetal Alchemist

Preferred Armada: Paladin

Alphonse is an alchemist who can create or fix things so long as he has the base substances for it. He spent several years of his youth as a suit of armor as the result of trying to bring their mother back to life and went on a long journey to restore his and his brother's body. While I briefly debated Al while in the armor... I didn't want him to have to contend with both rust and losing his life because the blood seal that bound his soul to the armor could be washed away (so basically near end of canon Al). He's the younger brother to Edward Elric, even though he often times acts like the older one. He's polite, kind, and loves animals and please feed him all the food.

Like Tadashi, Al would have a business that repaired and created things, though his world's technology is somewhat similar to that in Escordvi already. Minus the magictech.

I offer Suou here. He's the main character from his movie/mini-manga and is just lost. He can be a bit aloof and blunt but is otherwise really caring to those he becomes friends with. Hes still new to that and learning. He's finding what his place in the world while being the last of his kind. Yagyuu are living weapons rumored to be created by humans designed to destroy the Shinobi. (To clarify, Shinobi are monstrous creatures that hunt down and kill humans and are not ninja in this case haha...) The Yagyuu basically ended up also feared by humans due to their power and fearsome appearance to the point the humans pushed them practically to extinction.

With their world safe, Suou lost his girlfriend and is just trying to find his footing and what comes next. I think sailing the seas and doing missions would be good for him and keep him busy. Id love for him to bother others by asking why they do the things they do and just finding a reason to keep going. He doesnt know what fun or peace is

This is Vanitas. I was thinking of tossing him here to poke more at the KH cast and to see what a life at sea could offer him. All of you are too friendly and great so I gotta toss some negativity in.
He'd be coming from the end of Kingdom Hearts 3 so while he still has a bad attitude, he wouldn't be as fighty or obsessed as he was in Birth by Sleep since the events and ending of the game opened up somethings.
But to keep things simple; Vanitas is Ventus' other half. He's literally Ventus' darkness that was extracted from him and given form. in other words Ventus wouldn't be such a good boy otherwise so you can thank him for that haha. He's a being of darkness and negativity and your friendship is gross.
He can also make Unversed from his negativity. Some of which are cute until they lash out.

I've just had an itch for him especially since when I took a break from rp he was one of the last muses I had. Also apparently I have a thing for messy spikey hair. idk im bad at these and just been having fun playing with you guys thankyouuuu

I AM GOING TO PREFACE THIS, Hrist is not from the FFXIV canon! I'm just using her XIV icons cause I'm a broke person that can't afford custom icons right now.

Anyway, Hrist is a mystic from her world, which is basically someone with animalistic features. She's originally from the sacred land of Kriafor, but was stolen from her little egg by her so called 'mother'. Her mother found her troublesome in her youth, and eventually sold her to the King, where he used her as a gladiator to fight to the death in the coliseums. One day he told her that she didn't have enough life in her and poisoned her to give her a reason to fight. The king's son rescued her after the events, and she escaped. tl;dr she's a child slave and fighter

Hrist is a bit chaotic, and honestly a bit of a tease. She likes to crack a lot of jokes, but is a supportive, motherly figure. She has four kids, so she's used to playing that part and doesn't mind providing it for someone else that needs it. Honestly, she's a bit too selfless after having kids but ya know. Side note, hi! I used to play Rin here, before my life exploded. I hope to come back in September now that things have. Sort of maybe calmed down. lol.
