About: Darin is modeled after your standard JRPG/Shounen protagonist. He's boisterous and outgoing and tends to act before thinking. He's a master smith who tends to exude confidence most of the time. He's also the reincarnation of a demonic god prophesied to end his world and because of that he's been 'blessed' with superhuman strength and resilience. He's got a pretty big complex about that, though, and is reluctant to use his abilities publicly thanks to a traumatic past.

General: Darin is opening his forge this month! He's also been wrestling with who he is and his general trajectory here. Thankfully, working on custom pieces should help distract him from the problems he's been having lately. He's been asked to join Cid's crew but hasn't given a formal answer yet, as doing so would mean disclosing the source of his powers. And he did that recently and it didn't go well! Aside from that, I just want him to find more people to build CR with! I'm also open to some one-on-one threads in my inbox as well!
MANTA Board: Aside from taking custom orders for his own specific MANTA board quests the quests I'm most interested in are:

EVERYTHING THAT GLITTERS - Darin hauled up a ton of those gemstones and will be tinkering with them. He also found one of those relic cards!
DOING IT THE BARD WAY - Darin is the creative sort and if anyone wants to learn more about his troubled past, or even about who he is, this would be a good one.
TRAILING DAWN - Darin grew up in a seaside town so he'd be interested in researching this out of simple curiosity
MEGAMAKI MADNESS - Darin's gonna get roped into this one for sure so he's going to want to investigate.

About: Pigtailed martial-artist who was doing Rule 63 before it was cool. Brash, confrontational, headstrong, prideful, cynical, tactless and blunt as a brick to the side of your temple, Ranma's bound to rub people the wrong way and get into spitting matches. In spite of this, he's a fighter who believe in honor above all else, on top of being normally chill and laidback when he's not a direct/indirect prick to people, and is willing to drop everything to help even his worse of enemies' plights.

PLANS

General: Same ol', same ol'. Ranma's going to be doing his usual thing of hanging with people, helping them out, and pissing people off (intentionally or unintentionally notwithstand). Other than that, and still looking into possible ways of curing his curse, he's chilling.
MANTA Board: Hoo boy-
-Everything That Glitters: Ranma's already announced he found a bag of rum, but he's also acquired a bell that can halt time for a minute. He just needs a poor sap volunteer to help figure this out.
-Getting Caught In The Rain: Anyone up for sharing a drink in the rain with a redheaded girl? Ranma's your guy.
-Megamaki Madness: This is why he wanted to burn the island with these freaks on it. When Ranma hears of people being taken off the street and kidnapped, he's going to look high and low for signs of them, as well as planning on taking on the deviously dastardly bastard/bastards behind this devilishly delicious dodge that's been devised.
-Suspect Fowl Play: Hope you brought your bowling shoes. Cause Ranma's planning on scoring a turkey. Protect the innocent AND get fresh turkey meat from the whole ordeal? Sounds like a win-win to him.
-Trailing Dawn: Stake out time on a beach? Stake out time!
-Light Cleaners: Ranma's been getting light-based tattoos in order to utilize his ki, so he'd be a big boon in helping clear the black smudge.
-Whale Watchers: One of the things Ranma can't stand is a mess. He literally stopped in the middle of breaking into someone's house just to clean their pigsty of a room. If someone or something's polluting the waters, you can guarantee he'll be there to clean it up.
-*Don't Go Chasing Waterfalls: Expect Ranma to sneak in to participate in this. Sitting under a freezing raging water in the buff is one of the most standard form of training in the art! This'll be a cakewalk for him. Well, her, cause y'know.

About:
So Agatha's hometown of Gavaldon has a curse you could say -- every four years a mysterious figure known as the Schoolmaster comes to town and kidnaps two children. One goes to the School for Good, the other to the School for Evil and neither are ever heard from again. Well, most of the time -- sometimes they may show up in fairy tale books that the local bookshop receives from an unknown benefactor.

In the first book Agatha and her best friend Sophie are the ones kidnapped. Sophie has dreamed of being a pretty princess in the School for Good and everyone thinks Agatha is definitely a witch destined for the School for Evil. Imagine the shock when Agatha ends up in the School for Good!

Beyond her looks (which nowadays aren't quite as witch-like anymore) Agatha is said to have a soul of such pure good that her talent is making wishes come true for other people. It also helps her be very talented with magic

Despite starting off the series as withdrawn and sullen, seeing herself as dark and depressing and ugly Agatha's opinion of herself shifts a lot in the first book.

By the end of the second she comes to grips with the fact that she deserves to do what is best for her now and then rather than everyone else. Her leadership abilities also begin to develop, though they won't fully bloom for another few books.

General: Make more CR! Agatha has witty attitude and a sharp bit of sarcasm to her and though it's softened in the second book she gets along with people a lot better by then too. She's around 16 at her current canon point so I'd love for her to make friends around her own age, though I'll take CR with anyone.

MANTA Board:
A MOOGLE BY ANY OTHER NAME: What a good chance for Agatha to test out her Escordvi-given light abilities.

DOING IT THE BARD WAY: Because I love the idea of sharing lyrics and her getting all flustered over how bad she is at it.

DON'T GO CHASING WATERFALLS: Because I think the idea of her going, "No way why would I do this?" and then ending up in the freezing cold waterfall still is real funny.

LIGHT CLEANERS: Another chance to try out light abilities!

MEGAMAKI MADNESS: She's sneaking in mogrified as a cockroach so she can go skuttling around to try and find the captured people. You want to hear a cockroach talk to you?

SEEDS OF HOPE: Agatha took some of the mushroom caps from the Abyss so she's going to be planting and cultivating those. At first she might try them in the dark because mushrooms but once she notes they want the sun she'll transfer them over.

About: Leads a group of outlaws working to change the world's current system in treating magic users, making a name for himself as an outlaw in doing so. The Dominant of Ramuh, he's capable of using and turning into the Eikon Ramuh himself and wields lightning as his main element. Goodnatured, friendly, classic rogue, with enough wit and Dad jokes to help lighten any heavy situation. With his experience and endless worldly wisdom, he's the perfect mentor for any young lad who is going through a self-identity crisis and angst. Oh that's just Clive—but he can be a mentor or father figure for anyone who needs it, too. He is also a brilliant inventor and bit of an engineer. There will definitely be spoilers since he'll be after a certain canon point. I usually try not to reference canon events with non-castmates, but I'll be sure to mark them just in case. General: A lot of stuff happened in the past couple of months and Cid needs a break, so won't be having too much "quest adventuring" this month. There will be a lot of crew related stuff happening that will keep him busy, but he will be active part of the event! Of course I'll be open to other specific plotting so hit me up huhu.

About: Benedikta is a woman who is all about her survival and self-preservation first and foremost. Having climbed out of the depths of a cruel and terrible youth, she ascended to a place of power within the kingdom of Waloed after being rescued, both because of her talents in subterfuge and swordplay, as well as awakening as the Warden of the Wind, the Dominant of Garuda. She is the Commander of Waloed's Elite Intelligencers, and she is fiercely loyal to her king.

However, not everything is as it seems to her. She is loyal, yes, but to a fault, and part of it is because she is stung by the bitter bite of betrayal. She is ruthless, unkind, only cares about her own skin, has done a lot of bad things, and resents the world for what it has done to her. Deep down, however, she is merely a woman who has looked for love and validation all her life, a need to be useful not to be discarded again, but she finds it in all the wrong places.

PLANS

General:

🗡️ Benedikta is still working through some things surrounding what happened to her, both in canon and having primed into Garuda. Coming to terms with it and dealing with her anger about it is hard work.
🗡️ Benedikta will be helping Joshua and the rest of the XVI cast with some Stuff. Killing gods and all that.
🗡️ I have a personal arc planned for her that involves her rebuilding her confidence into something that is less of a glass house and more Real. She is arrogant and proud, but it was more a mask before, so I'd like for that to be more genuine in being sure of herself. while still being a queen of course
🗡️ She's still searching for new hobbies. So far, she's learned how to (sort of) garden, but she's not sure if it's something she wants to do often. So, it's a work in progress.
🗡️ She is still very eager to find the relics that control the rifts, because she absolutely does not plan on letting them take her home, and her search for them is more desperate now.
🗡️ Speaking of searching, now that she has been afflicted with the petrification curse that all Dominants eventually suffer from on her back, she will be trying to find a cure for that, too.

MANTA Board:

🗡️ Seeds of Hope: So about that gardening hobby... Mostly interested in trying to cultivate a garden of the Herb-of-Grace for Reasons.
🗡️ Megamaki: mostly just investigation stuff since I won't be signing up for the encounters.
🗡️ Suspect Fowl Play: if there are birds, I am throwing Benedikta at it. The image of her trying to wrangle angry turkeys is just too good to pass up. And she'll bring them back to her crew island for a big turkey feast later—

Event: She'll be going to the casino for some good ol' gambling fun. She is not above cheating, either, so hopefully she doesn't get caught??? And of course, with the birdfolk, something is always bound to happen whenever Benedikta is around. Probably will just stick to tagging around, though. But I'm happy to plot specific closed stuff as well. Also, screw the moogles, she says, as she will be getting harassed by them left and right probably.

Eustace | Granblue Fantasy | Corsair

About: Typical stoic, aloof, silent elite agent soldier lone wolf type with the biggest soft spot for all things dog. His ideal is to live a life filled with peace and quiet, and so he fights to protect not only his peace but others as well. Eustace can be a bit rough around the edges, but he's softened up and can be amiable with those he's grown to trust and care for. Often compared to as a "guard dog" he is fiercely loyal to those close to him. He is skilled with guns, short blades, and grenades with his favored weapon being Flamek, a special rifle that can unleash lightning. His main element is also lightning in game. As an Erune, the dog-like ears on his head are very real, but he does not have a tail. Also as an Erune, the fashion choice of open sides and backs is the norm— He also loves dogs. Like. A lot. He has his dog Valo. More detailed info can be found here!

General: I am not sure how and I'm not even sure if I can this month, BUT!!! Something with dogs. Come on there have been enough stuff about cats DOG LOVERS RISE UP!! But no seriously it would be cute to have some kind of dog meet up at the park or something...

MANTA Board: A couple in here that might be interesting:

• Whale Watchers: surely the whales have a reason, so time to see what's been going on... Since Eustace is Corsair he'll be looking into it from that side, but he'll also want to try and help calm the whales or escort them away if possible. He won't stop any Paladins, either—go beat up the idiots, he doesn't care.
  
• Suspect Fowl Play: He's a good shot and a seasoned hunter so this should be easy for him
  
• Trailing Dawn: stares at mich as i continue to have Eustace on all animal related quests— if anyone wants a contemplative, broody companion, Eustace is your guy

I might try to make an open log since IT'S BEEN A WHILE as well as just wanting to get Eustace more CR in general wheeze.

About: Tifa is the "Mom Friend" if there ever was one. She is a kind, empathetic, patient, protective soul who is always looking out for others. Sociable and friendly as she can be, she's much more reserved than she appears—she never wears her heart on her sleeve and keeps her emotions close, and prefers to talk about anything but herself. But don't let her shy, timid exterior fool you. She is a savvy business woman who ran a bar and can kick a lot of ass, too.

Internally, Tifa carries a lot of grief and has had plenty losses in life, is incredibly self-critical, and it's because of this that she is always pushing herself to do better. She'll always try to think things through first and put on a smile for others, but deep down beneath all of that is a woman still struggling from her past. In spite of her anger and her past, she is still always trying to do the right thing and to help anyone in need, and treat everyone with kindness, regardless of who they are or where they come from.

PLANS

General:

🌠 With the Seventh Heaven Bar and Grill now open aboard Avalanche's ship, Tifa will be busy working there for now! She's trying her hand at new recipes, both for food and drinks, so people are always free to stop by!
🌠 Now that the OTHER ONE'S plot is done, I really want to work towards opening up Tifa's martial arts school/dojo sometime this summer! It's been in the cards since the beginning, it's just a matter of me finding the time to do it!
🌠 My biggest goal for her is to get her out and making more friends, and just being more open about what she wants. She's struggling a bit with that, and her confidence had taken a bit of a hit after her canon update, so I'd love for her to make some friends here from other worlds! And also... her trying to voice her feelings, too, and to stop being such a people pleaser all the time!!!
🌠 Other than that, Tifa is just doing Tifa things, which means that someone's going to have to remind her to take breaks every once in a while so she doesn't overwork herself!!!
🌠 Just mostly taking it easy this month again. Will be tagging around most likely.
🌠 Because she has a Rebirth canon point, I will be avoiding spoilers in tags, but please let me know if you are okay with spoilers! I will be sure to mark any that do come up.

MANTA Board:

🌠 Seeds of Hope: She brought back some mushrooms and other herbs, so she's definitely down for trying to plant some more.
🌠 A Sheep in Sheep's Clothing: Save the sheep! 😭
🌠 The Plot Chickens: Ghost chickens? Or just chickens? Either way, sign her up.

But she's for sure going to be helping the moogles, because she knows the important lesson that you should always help a moogle in need. That, and she wants them to find a home so that they stop bothering her and everyone else! She'll also try her hand at some of the stuff at the casino as well!

General: I am trying to get back in the saddle after this summer sure was...sure was. Kaveh has another quest up, and will have an open log for this month, but is likely to get swept up in cast and crew Shenanigans.

He is also finally looking to start a cosmetics business and might quietly be looking around for partners. If left to his own devices it will...not stay just cosmetics.
MANTA Board: Given Kaveh has plant magic, he is deeply invested in Seeds of Hope. He is much less interested in actually...testing what he found in the Abyss because he'd like to pretend it didn't happen, but he will turn up to see what he can do with the gems he found...and see if anyone has any insight into the dot matrix cards tablets?

He will be involved in the Megamaki plot but on the support/investigative side of things, not combat. He will also be trying to help the whales!

And of course, he's released another plague of butterflies upon Esco.

About: ah, Angel Dust, the sassy spider demon from hell. while he is being very secretive about his life and job, i would like for other people to find out more about him. he likes making friends, even if he's kind of a jerk. he's getting better, probably.

General: Angel is open for friendship CR, enemy CR, romantic CR... what have you. i'm happy to plot with anyone, so come at him. long-term, i'd like him to have people he can lean on, as well as support, but i'm totally open for negative CR, too. he can be pretty abrasive.

General: For this month Alhaitham and Kaveh will be relocating back to The Roost due to Reasons of the Knave variety don't worry about it. Alhaitham specially will be mostly staying on the Roost, and I will be putting up an open log for the Hideaway crew if they want to come and poke at him. He's totally NOT sulking okay!!

MANTA Board:

Seeds of Hope and Elemental Energy Survey in tandem with Kaveh; he'll be there when Kaveh is, so most likely you'll get the both of them together there.

A Sheep in Sheep's Clothing because killing cannibalistic sheep is a good way to work out his frustrations right?

Whale Watchers & Light Cleaners - the latter more than the former, but people should maybe not litter so he will be there to help the whales too.

Event: Will probably tag around but expect Alhaitham to be winning games with his unintentional poker face Ultra :') He will also help with moogle relocation!

If you're interested, might I offer an invite to come aboard PLUS ULTRA!, aka the shounen ship? It's mostly comprised of paladins, with some corsairs (like this jerk) sprinkled in.
