About: Ever since he was born, Ranma grew up training to be the very best in the arts, following the practice of Anything Goes Martial Arts, which is exactly as it reads on the tin. The word 'surrender' does not exist in his dictionary, especially when it comes to a challenge. If it has anything to do with fighting or martial arts, you can bet Ranma'll be first in line to learn and typically master it at the drop of a hat.

... He's also kind of a headstrong prick with all the social cues of a bowling ball, and willing to play dirty should the cards come to it. That said, he's mostly a respectable young man with a high sense of honor willing to lend a hand if need be while enjoying a good fight

Oh, he's also the living definition of 'Rule 63' due to a magic curse. Add water to him, you get a female headstrong prick.

PLANS

General:
Ranma's doing his usual thing since getting here. Minding his business, getting into fights with people, and look for a way to cure his curse while he's here. Just recently, he's purchased himself a cottage with a basement he's converting into a training hall. He's given people free reign to come over and train and spar any time they'd like to. Other than that, nothing too major for him at the moment.

MANTA Board:
💧 His series thrives on polymorphing shenanigans! Ranma himself'll most likely change (to see how the others back home feel) to either a horse, dragon (albeit a tiny one) or if I really wanted to torture him, a cat. Don't be surprised, though, if Ranma sees someone else take a dive into the pool and tries to boil them with hot water to see if they change back.

💧 Ranma's a fighter by heart. There's no way he's going to miss out on the fighting ring, if anyone wishes to go up against this pigtailed gremlin and get a chance at punching his face.

💧 He can teach the pottymouthed parrots new insults and swears they haven't known before!

💧 Now that he's agreed publicly to help take out the bastards behind Dead Kraken Island and the murders, there's a high chance he'll end up getting captured and most likely instigate a prison break, if anyone wishes to assist/get caught up in it.

🧀 He's a shounen protagonist. He's got the appetite of a muenster, a bottomless pit for a stomach and can put down a lot of food without feeling full. You cheddar brielieve he can do this.

💧 Ranma's canonically great at mimicking people's voices in the manga to fool people, and uses disguises left and right. He's perfect to swap clothes with. Plus look at this shirt and tell me it doesn't look comfy to wear?

💧 Treasure AND trolling one of the few people here who gets on his nerves. Count him in, he knows how to sneak and stalk without making so much as a peep.

💧 Bounties are a favorite of his, and while the little green guys may be disappointing (until he finds out that those knives really pack a punch), water sea slug kaijus are up his alley!

💧 Speaking of bounties, call him video, because he's prepared to take on the radio star! Sure, like what he did with Cid, he might before tempted to offer to split the bounty with 'Radiohead'... But the difference between him and Cid is he likes Cid a lot more, plus fighting a demon sounds a LOT more fun. Anyone willing to tag along with him are free to.

💧 While Ranma could assist in researching, being used to both sticking his nose in books and diving underwater at deep levels, he's a lot more inclined for the more brawn aspect of this job.


Event:
💧 Beach episode? BEACH EPISODE!!! Of course, he's willing to pay for his stay by working his butt off, it's no skin off his back.

💧 Considering the last wedding Ranma was at was crashed, he'd be onboard with helping stop the wedding crashers. Luckily, Ranma can fill the part of either groom or bride

💧 If any couples get violent with another, Ranma's going to step in to break it up and prevent any fights.

💧 Ranma'll still attend the Fyre Festival, if only to pay for his stay at the resort.

Anyway, Sumina has been here for about a month of doing the babiest little quests and continues to adjust to the whole being a Corsair thing. Normally unable to wield any kind of magic, but manages to live a most magical life anyway by way of the magical inn her family has kept for generations. She's your gal for foodie adventures, a great listener and problem-solver, and would be a steadfast friend.

General:
Sumina is going to want to start building out her connections, so she continues to be super available for new CR from any and everyone! She'll also be realizing that she really needs to train up in something if she wants to be more useful around here, so she'll begin to explore harnessing the magic granted to them by their tattoos and would be eager for information or training around that.

MANTA Board:

Spirited Away: Sumina has honestly had her fill of being turned into an animal, but she'll offer herself as a volunteer uh, cat-wrangler or whatnot for anyone who does want to be polymorphed! She can also be Ratatouille'd if you want. Or somehow end up as a little field mouse or pomeranian anyway!

Starships: Sumina is super up for stargazing and charting stars! She has spent some time in d&d outerspace with her alien astral elf family so and this would be a nice familiar feeling of home for her...

Gold & Gears: who wants to lowkey invent being an influencer with Sumina by haggling for free jewelry in exchange for exposure,,

Special Investigation: she would absolutely be interested in helping with the Archive Research here and learn more about the leviathans. Despite being a corsair she loves this kind of thing please let her be a nerd with someone!

Event:

General beach resort shenanigans could be a fun way to meet Mina! She'll be around taking copious notes on the business and hospitality here... for research...

Wedding Crashers and Kidnappers:Offering an incredibly wife-shaped person who can act as a decoy for sting operations but what also, hear me out: what if we crashed a wedding on wedding island together because we witnessed one of the to-be-weds having an adulterous affair the night before the wedding!!!! (i am yanked off the stage via cane)

Spirited Away: Is intrigued enough that he could be talked into trying it out. He will very much be a cat when that happens because he is so very cat-coded lmao.

Starships: Down for this as well! He's probably gonna try and compare what he has here with the one he made in January at Avaleci.

Canon: Tales of Zestiria, canon point being that he is taken from earlier on when he passes out with the fight against Heldalf and is taken back to Rose and the gang's ruins base.
Armada: Paladin

About: Sorey is the most sheltered and oblivious seventeen year old who was raised among seraphim (elemental spirits) who basically leaves his village and goes on a journey to try support relations between the seraphim and the humans and to save his world from Malevolence (like a negative energy that can corrupt sort of deal). His bff is a water seraphim named Mikleo and it is honestly a miracle Sorey has survived in this game as long as he has without his water bff. Mikleo grounds him and is basically 99% of Sorey's impulse control with how reckless he can be.

His thing is that he can armatize or basically ala fusion in Dragonball, with the seraphim in his party to help him fight and make use of and control their different elements.

I have his app and more info in his journal if anyone is curious and has yet to get through Zestiria.

Abilities:

Shepherd:

As the Shepherd, I'm going to try umbrella this since it covers a few things:

Armatization - being able to channel the seraphs in the party and use this to their advantage in combat. Combining into one (the seraphs using Sorey's body as a vessel) and thus granting Sorey access to their Seraphic Artes (using their particular element that seraphim is attuned to, out of fire, water, earth or wind) in combat along with their particular Divine Weapon. This does take time initially for him to adjust to in willing it to finish however, but he does eventually come able to revert back to himself at will.

Resonance - Ability to see and hear seraphim, potentially other supernatural beings most other normal humans cannot usually sense, due to his having been brought up among seraphim back home at Elysia. Think of it as like some sort of spiritual sense. Along with this is his ability to sense Malevolence, which is sort of like a dark energy that makes him feel ill, tight in the chest. It's basically a big part of his whole 'purity' thing, really. His resonance is what allows him to become the Shepherd, basically, because he can see and hear Lailah in order to make a pact with her. This pact is what allows him to thus be able to purify the hellions. He can manage animal or plant based hellions fine, but humanized hellions, according to expanded information in the anime, means Sorey takes on their Malevolence.

Pacts - Sorey can make a pact with another human with resonance to take them on as a Squire. A Squire can essentially also assist in purifying hellions and help the Shepherd on their journey, basically. Acting as a support to them along the way and assisting them in carrying out their duties to deal with the hellions. If the Squire has a high enough resonance, such as Rose in the game, they can also then armatize with the seraphim once they have made their pact and been given a True Name by the Shepherd. In Sorey and Rose's case, if something happens to the Shepherd, the Squire can thus make a pact to take on their role in turn too.

- History/Ruins Knowledge - Sorey is really keen on this sort of stuff and grew up wanting to explore ruins and learn about history so this is kind of his Thing. He and Mikleo are all about geeking out over ruins together. So he will easily pick up on this sort of thing in Incensed's setting and all.

- Fighting/Hunting ability - Sorey has a sword and can use a bow when hunting as well, so he can fight/defend himself or go hunting for meat for example if he has to with these basic survival skills.

PLANS

General: Sorey is part of Cid's crew and is the biggest history nerd so is always up for exploring (maybe finding ruins!!!!) and helping out in general. He is the kind that can't really say no. He is also trying to learn more in general about things with this world and learning about and meeting everyone to work together. Because that helps in not being as clueless and sheltered a country bumpkin.
MANTA Board: Books? Sorey is there. Unfortunately these ones have been bitten???
And if there are ruins even underwater, well. Sorey is prob gonna check those out?? If I remember??

Event: Prob top level or if not then I will tag around. Sorey might not be keen for the romance aspect because lol he is Mikleo-less if that were to ever apply to him at all and otherwise has zero interest in that sort of thing. But he might at least check out the resort and help out working there or something??? Maybe help with the weddings as a Tribute to be kidnapped??

Dongfang Qingcang plays Hades to her Persephone and kidnaps her to his realm after the other fairies decide she's a traitor for being connected to him, she falls in love with him and tries to make him a better person. She isn't much of a fighter, but if she gets hurt, please fear the wrath of her gardener.

- Attend Kaveh (& Alhaitham's wedding)
- Helping to explore the Raiders of the Lost Arts crew island, possibly ending up in trouble.

MANTA Board:

- Get Shirty: She and Daqiang can already swap bodies, so why not clothing? Please help her, she'll drown in his outfit.
Event: I will likely make a top-level for her on the event, include her MANTA Board prompts on it, since I don't think she'll be up for any of the other ones anyway. She will be attending Kaveh (& Alhaitham's) wedding there on the island and I haven't made a lot of other solid plans except getting a special feather and being in Daqiang's presence. Otherwise, I'm open to a couple of things - I won't take on too much due to her being occupied with her crew island this month.

About: She is a 1,000-year-old shape-shifter who never talks about how she really acquired these abilities. Never fit in with other animals, had one human friend who eventually turned on her. Spent a thousand years doing ???. Turns up in a "futuristic" Kingdom, befriends a guy who was set up to murder the queen. Gets betrayed by him too. Nimona is a wild "child", she enjoys metal music, cooking, and generally being a little gremlin. Her goal is to get friends and be accepted for who she is - and what she is.

Event: I might... do a top-level for Nimona. It also may involve her posing as a shark in the beach water to scare people, crashing weddings just to eat some food (shapeshifted as random party guests for facetwin shenanigans), and some serious heart-to-hearts that have a CW warning. She may also help with the brides and grooms getting kidnapped considering she can look like anyone.

He may be a Corsair himself but Denji unlike her is very good at yelling profanities and if it's to help out her I'm sure he wouldn't mind stealing the birds back to help a Paladin. Especially considering he's part of a Paladin crew nowadays. You can learn to swear from the best of them, Orchid!

Faris is a lifelong sailor, so he'll be very keen on doing the starships quest because ACCURATE NAVIGATION IS VERY IMPORTANT.

Also, as a JRPG protagonist, Faris has spent a lot of time in inns! So I think he and Sumia might be able to get along because she'd strike him as familiar in that way and it'd be interesting for him to meet someone who actually says more than "it's 50 gil per night" or "there's plot happening so you can sleep free."

Hello! I'm still interested in Faris meeting Lloyd (may was busy for me so I was not able to do as much as I'd hoped myself). Fighting is a good way for Faris to get to know people so how's about they fight a giant slug together?

Faris is also going to be getting involved in the Life In Color quest! Faris is... a VERY DIFFERENT person from Sherlock (princess raised as pirate) but is definitely an expert in denying that he's having feelings :') so I think they could have some interesting threads together!

Faris also got beat up pretty good by Garuda and I am totally down for him having seen someone else take her on. Honestly he'd want to ask about it on that basis alone but the fact that Darin SHOULD HAVE BLOWN UP would definitely merit a comment from him. Especially since he's also been doing construction work when he should have been recovering and it's been pretty taxing. So he will definitely bring it up during their Great Escaping (it'll go great I'M SURE)
