CR WORKSHIP: MAY 2024

Our CR Meme CR Workship is where players can drop all the cool info for their characters and try to plot with others to continue existing or create new CR. Be sure to look over the MANTA Board as well as current events if you'd like to include them in your post.

We also include a designated toplevel for Crew Recruitment where players can make OOC ad posts for others to either join or request to join or make a crew. This is all for OOC coordination, so you'll have to figure out how it works ICly.

If you have multiple characters, make an individual toplevel for yourself with your player info and comment to it with each character separately.

Character: Nimona
Canon: Nimona; post-Ballister fight - pre-movie climax.
Armada: Paladin

About: She is a 1,000-year-old shape-shifter who never talks about how she really acquired these abilities. Never fit in with other animals, had one human friend who eventually turned on her. Spent a thousand years doing ???. Turns up in a "futuristic" Kingdom, befriends a guy who was set up to murder the queen. Gets betrayed by him too. Nimona is a wild "child", she enjoys metal music, cooking, and generally being a little gremlin. Her goal is to get friends and be accepted for who she is - and what she is.

Abilities: Shapeshifting (animal and human), breathing fire, breathing large cereal balls.

PLANS

General: Long-term, I do want her to feel so comfortable with her little found family. But also want Nimona to go dark-dragon mode and maybe tear some things up, so she can be saved from herself.
MANTA Board:

Snaxburg Secrets: She wants a snackbox, okay? Nimona will be interested in finding at least one of each creature to just sort of watch it and see all the creatures this world has to offer.

Everybody's Grudge: Time for Nimona to be introduced to Tonberries! Their little knife is sooooo cuuuuute! She wants it.

Sea Slug Kaiju: Whoops! Nimona will feel a little responsible and try to help fight the Kaiju. Who wants to be introduced to her phoenix form?!
Event: I will probably hit up the event. Though haven't decided if I'll top-level with her or if anyone wants a specific prompt thread with Nimona. I'll see as people tag into it.

CR Dreams: Moar friends, found family that she can adopt and invite onto the ship, people who are maybe a little annoyed by here so she can troll them.

Absolutely. I would enjoy that. Dark-dragon mode would definitely have to be a player plot later on, but I'm here for building the groundwork on it.

Having seen Nimona now, I really want to have Faris do more stuff with her! Faris also feels out of place a lot, not for being shunned by society but because she's wound up in a place she's not supposed to be and still... likes it... also she'd enjoy Nimona's chaos.

Faris will be taking on the Kaiju, so that might be a good thing for them to do together?

Yes! I know only a little about Faris, but feel like they'd get along great.

Absolutely, they can fight the Kaiju together.

Orchid | Love Between Fairy and Devil | Paladin

Character: Orchid (Xiao Lanhua)
Canon: Love Between Fairy and Devil; post-human realm aka after she and Daqiang kissed because they wanted to.
Armada: Paladin

About: A thousand-year-old plant fairy who accidentally brought the Three Realms' greatest "evil" back into the world, but it's fine because she accidentally and unknowingly placed a curse on him. Now he's her personal gardener. I mean, she has him practically wrapped around her little finger. Whoops, he is her protector. Dongfang Qingcang plays Hades to her Persephone and kidnaps her to his realm after the other fairies decide she's a traitor for being connected to him, she falls in love with him and tries to make him a better person. She isn't much of a fighter, but if she gets hurt, please fear the wrath of her gardener.

Abilities: List of abilities. I do want better healing and plant growth in her future that's possible because of the tattoo.

PLANS

General: She will be Daqiang's handler, from now on. While helping him redevelop his emotions and humanity. Become stronger in her own right, but I want her to make all the friends to help look after her. Exploring the world and gaining more experience because she's seriously lacking. There is an eventual idea to deal with uh... a life-killing curse that is currently attached to her, but is dormant at this moment. Otherwise, just seeing how this game will help Orchid develop into a beautiful flower. Oh, plant collection; she wants all the plants. Maybe one day, she will have a flower shop.
MANTA Board:

Every Day I’m Brusselin’: She will be here to make all the little green men appear, and maybe try to adopt a couple. They will be her new plant spirit friends!

Snaxburg Secrets: Orchid will be fascinated by the bugs, and try to feed them. Not sure if she'll try to adopt any of these, but I'll go through the full list to see.

Ethereal Emberblooms: Yes, she has to go see the very rare flowers! No, she will not be very good at fighting anyone who tries to hide a dead body. So clearly this should happen and people can help her out with that!

Serenity Illuminated: Fireflies! Orchid would love to have a little firefly lantern, so her garden doesn't get harmed with actual fire. Plus, she's very good at catching them, feel free to ask her for help.

Ruffeo and Mewliet: Time to... take Daqiang's cat out for some exercise and cast him as the male lead in this romantic story!
Event: I will most likely have a top-level for her on the event. Try to tag out with her both there and in the comms bc I do need to get her better established. I'm coming for you all.

CR Dreams: Friends, people who pretty much adopt her, people who will teach her to at least protect herself, people she can protect. Orchid is the most loyal friend a person could ever have, seriously; someone could betray her and she'd still protect them. She will be a little nosy about their business, and try to help them with the whole goodness of her heart.

Etc.: Again, sorry to everyone I had plans with before, but if anyone wants to handwave meeting her - especially crewmates. I'm good with that.

Maybe she finds him repotting some of them across the turtles. I could still hit up the backdated log for it.

I can also make a starter for her, I was planning on making a closed log for him and alhaitham this month for the people who want to check on them! If she's around eltrut it wouldn't be too hard to stumble upon a house with Bigass Flowers lol.

Daqiang is going to do the firefly lantern quest and make her AN EVEN BETTER FIREFLY stone LANTERN THAN THE ONE that got stolen CHANGHENG BROKE HER HEART WITH. They can collect them and the glowing lily flowers in the swamps at the same time.

DO IT, SHE WILL LOVE IT FOREVER. And keep the Firefly Jade that Xiao Run gave her hidden forever. Provided he hasn't seen it anyway, having been in her body and therefore holding her possessions for a bit. Yes, she will be extremely excited for the glowing lilies! Time to add them to her garden.

He wants to hide that stone somewhere it won't be found again so because that sure does look like she's holding a love token from Changheng. But since that would probably make her sad, he's just going to fantasize about it. a lot.

Daqiang wanting to yeet the stone as far as he can throw it into the ocean is valid. She just wants to return it to him, bc she's nice like that. And it's very much turning him down at the same time. But it being an object of misunderstanding is fun.
