CR WORKSHIP: MAY 2024

Our CR Meme CR Workship is where players can drop all the cool info for their characters and try to plot with others to continue existing or create new CR. Be sure to look over the MANTA Board as well as current events if you'd like to include them in your post.

We also include a designated toplevel for Crew Recruitment where players can make OOC ad posts for others to either join or request to join or make a crew. This is all for OOC coordination, so you'll have to figure out how it works ICly.

If you have multiple characters, make an individual toplevel for yourself with your player info and comment to it with each character separately.

Etc.: Anything else or, you know, the usual memes. NOTE: we have an image code for players to use as it will fix the width of the image to 400px. This is so large images don't take up entire pages. If your image is smaller than that you can remove the code, otherwise please use the code.

HELLO THERE I would like to continue throwing these two together!

I'm planning on TLing at the Garuda log At Some Point; if you'd rather them meet elsewhere I can do a closed starter or inbox thread. Miriam's pretty used to being a bodyguard for squishier scholarly types, so that'd be a handy way for them to meet. She was essentially raised by alchemists, so she'd find Zelda's interests familiar. And Zelda's, like, actually nice and not doing unethical science so Miriam has no reason to distrust her.

For later CR things, if Zelda's sealing power comes up Miriam would be immediately interested. The crystal flower things on her are basically trying to constantly grow and kill her, and while they're currently held in check by a seal she no longer has a backup in case that seal fails. Having a "break glass in case of horrible demon curse" option would be super helpful.

Yes lets continue doing things!! I am planning to continue Zelda's threads on her TDM and treat that as her "canon" arrival in the game, but if you'd prefer for them to meet another way, I'm flexible! atm I haven't even had a chance to do more than a quick skim of the notes, manta board, and garuda log

but wow it sounds like zelda and miriam will get along great! zelda is very ethical about science and would never force anyone to be part of an experiment (altho she won't hesitate to ask people to volunteer lmao). Also I would love to pursue this idea about miriam learning about zelda's sealing powers. In the past, I've had zelda create seals on other characters/their powers, so we could definitely explore something like that in the future

The TDM thread works for me! It seems eldritch potatoes are quite versatile things, lmao.

Given some trust build up Miriam won't be too bothered if Zelda asks to prod at her crystals For Science, which could lead to them talking about sealing magic.

good good good I think that will work well! Zelda is USUALLY polite enough that she doesn't immediately ask folks about the weird crystals growing on their bodies, but she certainly will think about it a lot until she DOES finally ask
