CR WORKSHIP: MAY 2024

Our CR Meme CR Workship is where players can drop all the cool info for their characters and try to plot with others to continue existing or create new CR. Be sure to look over the MANTA Board as well as current events if you'd like to include them in your post.

We also include a designated toplevel for Crew Recruitment where players can make OOC ad posts for others to either join or request to join or make a crew. This is all for OOC coordination, so you'll have to figure out how it works ICly.

If you have multiple characters, make an individual toplevel for yourself with your player info and comment to it with each character separately.

About:

Magic, Science, and all-the-ways-they-mix Research Team! There are a lot of forgotten relics, forsaken lands, and forbidden arts lost to the waves and time. The Raiders of the Lost Arts are dedicated to finding, researching, and potentially utilizing whatever they can find. Legal methods of acquiring information and research materials may or may not be followed.

Pitch: Every character type is welcome even if you don't want to be a researcher - we have researchers, bodyguards, a captain, a couple of not!detectives, and a very pretty little gardener/cook. Corsair based, so you have to be open to docking at Nogard most of the time.

We also have a higher than normal Immortal + long-lived non-immortals to Non-Immortal ratio (at least 3 Immortal characters over 1000 years old and several non-immortals over 100; not sure where Turo falls in that spectrum, but he's there). So if your character is on the longer lived side (or maybe interested in being around those sorts of folks) you might find yourself more at ease on this crew for the simple matter of having others that are likely to share a similar long-lived outlook on life!

Magic users or those that want to learn/learn-more-about magic will find a plethora of resources on this crew. Those more used to non-magical methods are very much welcome. Many of the magically inclined are actively learning and researching non-magical stuff as well as magitech!

Requirements:

Must like cats. We have 4.

Must like animals(?) in general. We have pokemon.

For IC handwavey purposes, we ask that prospective members plan on getting a ring of returning within the first couple of IC months and/or have teleportation powers so that when the ship is out at sea - and away from the leviathans - there is an IC way for individuals to get back and forth between the ship and event locations. Until a ring is purchased, others with rings can transport them and that's mostly handwaved, too.
