yesss i think that's what could be fun about it. depending on what happens things could go so many different ways for him. he's very malleable at this age so he could turn out any number of ways. Will he focus on his training and stay strong? Will he devote himself to his studies even without his mother's watchful gaze? Will he thinks pirates are the coolest thing ever and style himself as some weird pirate superhero hybrid? The possibilities are endless!
