SNAIL WITH ME: APRIL 2024

An abbreviated version of our CR Workship! Same concept, just a lot smaller. If you have multiple characters, make an individual toplevel for yourself with your player info and comment to it with each character separately.

We also include a designated toplevel for Crew Recruitment where players can make OOC ad posts for others to either join or request to join or make a crew. This is all for OOC coordination, so you'll have to figure out how it works ICly.

About: Sherlock is a 23 year old Victorian still very much learning how to be a consulting detective. He's more emotional than the average Holmes and is. trying. his. best. He hasn't gone on any of the cases he's known for yet. His first adventure with John Watson was chasing a Cthulhu cult across the world. He can't sleep because The Horrors. He also has trouble knowing what is reality because of said horrors, seeing things humans are not meant to comprehend, and having an imaginary friend/tupla named Jon(athan) from age 6 to 21 as a mental/emotional trauma defense. He fears he's losing his mind, but really, he's traumatized and dealing with a world that uses multiple Holmes adaptations as both references and a plot point, and he notices a pattern.

General:
- Short term goals: getting him help with his sleeping problems, working on removing/reducing his seasickness, getting him a violin.
- Long term goals: get this boy some self confidence, self worth, and finding himself again, put him on the path to becoming his own version of Sherlock Holmes rather than someone who feels like he's failing at every turn
MANTA Board:
- General: A Wishing Tree (to be studying the flower more than anything else)
- General: The Haunting of Forgotten Cay (let's help the husband know what happened)
- Bounties: Bashful Bunnies (He likes bees. He wants to protect the bumble bunnies. ;~; Can they help locate them to some place better? He'll even offer up his own place. It's not like he sleeps there)
- Special: Crab Curry (He told you so! Will people bloody listen to him for once?!)
Event: I'll be topleveling and tagging out because that's how I usually roll. He'll help save the turtle hatchlings and do special activities. ... As soon as the Ice Giants and battle of the leviathans starts, Sherlock will probably be out of commission as he will be frozen, curled up into a ball, and/or trying not to panic because Cthulhu trauma.

About: Fyodor is from a canon which uses RL authors as characters and gives them abilities/powers based around their literary works. Sometimes the results are hilarious, case in point: Fyodor. He is one of the main antagonists in the series, usually appearing like fucking Batman on some rooftop and letting the wind sway his cloak. Aside from a plethora of crimes (and this man has done so. much. crime.) he enjoys religion, music and seeking for a book that allows the user to rewrite reality.

Fyodor is, at first glance, polite and seemingly harmless though he is not. He is constantly paying attention and trying to find out the ways to manipulate people around him.

PLANS

General: Trying to get him acclimated, he's a solitary individual by choice so it is time to make him suffer and be forced to socialize.

Also someone get this man a cello so he plays music and calms down.

MANTA Board: Bashful Bunnies Fyodor will be found chasing these little critters about and taking photos with his shellphone. He initially thought they were rats.

Potion Permit Do you want to join this man in reckless potion experimentation? He will happily try to talk any innocent bystander to help him with this. Oh and he's going to probably try to keep a potion or two for future use...

Also interested in Whack-a-plant for some seriously silly almost-lose-your-fingers shenanigans.

Event: Plans to tag out, because we love turtles and Fyodor already helped with baby crabs, he deserves to help baby turtles this month. I am happy to write starters too if anyone has anything in mind.

Etc.: There have been some major reveals about him in the last few manga chapters, please let me know if you want me to steer clear of any spoilers while interacting with him. Otherwise, if you don't mind, let me know and we can do further planning because exploring some of his background is so something I'd love to dabble in.

Sorey l Tales of Zestiria l Paladin

Character: Sorey
Canon: Tales of Zestiria (canon point being early on when he is knocked out/passes out and is taken to Rose's hideout in the ruins.)
Armada: Paladin

About: Sorey is the most sheltered and oblivious seventeen year old who was raised among seraphim (elemental spirits) who basically leaves his village and goes on a journey to try support relations between the seraphim and the humans and to save his world from Malevolence (like a negative energy that can corrupt sort of deal). His bff is a water seraphim named Mikleo and it is honestly a miracle Sorey has survived in this game as long as he has without his water bff. Mikleo grounds him and is basically 99% of Sorey's impulse control with how reckless he can be.

His thing is that he can armatize or basically ala fusion in Dragonball, with the seraphim in his party to help him fight and make use of and control their different elements.

PLANS

General: Sorey is part of Cid's crew and is the biggest history nerd so is always up for exploring (maybe finding ruins!!!!) and helping out in general. He is the kind that can't really say no. He is also trying to learn more in general about things with this world and learning about and meeting everyone to work together. Because that helps in not being as clueless and sheltered a country bumpkin.

Event: I might try top level?? Depending on timing. I know I will be busier this weekend at least. But I was on hiatus so I want to do things!! Or just tag out idk. Will see???

If you need an in for Potion Permit, Sherlock won't be taking it himself, but he was one of the ones who stole some samples for them to investigate. He'll also be interested in seeing the side effects and would be willing to deal with charades or even helping to come up with alternative forms of communication.

Sherlock is also interested in helping put the souls to rest for Haunting of Forgotten Cay and doing things during the event. Let's go flower picking.
