Unfortunately I play an idiot who would attempt this so CW for self-inflicted bodily harm.
I'm pretty sure that cutting or burning away the marked skin wouldn't fix the curse itself, so I wasn't going to ask about that. BUT-
How would doing so affect the mark itself? Would it be obscured by the damage, or would it turn up underneath the skin/on top of a burn? If a source of healing was used to restore the skin to normal, would it be there on the new skin (and if so would it be immediate or something that reappeared over time)?
Also: would doing this very stupid thing have any affect on the speed at which the curse grows more severe?
