Daqiang's ability to enter metaphysical spaces includes dreams. If he entered the dreams of someone afflicted by the curse/actively having the nightmare, would it be possible for him to find the source of the affliction, or something that indicates what the source is, inside the nightmare and use that to track down a cure and/or means of preventing the death long term while a cure is found?

I want to traumatize Daqiang further with drowning stuff so he's definitely gonna try entering the nightmare, but just wanna check if it would get him anything other than more fear of death by drowning.
