Character: Faris Scherwiz Canon: Postgame Armada: Corsair
About: Faris was chosen by the Fire Crystal for embodying the virtue of Courage but also once tried to physically flee from her own emotions. That's what happens when you are lost at sea as a small princess, taken in by pirates, and raised as a man. Shw's sort of a little better at sometimes saying a feeling, if it's to a person he knows well and can still couch it in joking.
Apart from that, Faris is a pirate through-and-through and... doesn't actually mind being here that much! It's being a real wild ride for sure.
Faris has a soft spot for kids, altruists, old geezers, and well-intentioned goofballs, which he won't admit but isn't that great at hiding either.
1. I need to count up my reward points and see if I can afford to give Faris her dragon Syldra back as a summon spell! 2. I would like to have Faris be on a separate ship. I'm going to wait until the new year to decide if Faris is gonna start his own ship or join another ship because I've been out of the loop, but if I can get myself combobulated by hte new year it'll be the former. 3. Long term? Faris needs to sort out how she feels about being a pirate when she was born into the most ABSURDLY ALTRUSTIC FAMILY in all of Final Fantasy. The princess thing is tough, but it's really just window-dressing on the knowledge that her father, mother, and sister repeatedly fling themselves onto swords to save dragons. 4. Deepening CR links and forming new ones!
MANTA Board: Magitech Madness: Faris helped with the portal staff last month, and this month he is STOKED to help out with the cannons. One of his mastered job classes is Cannoneer so he actually has some independent knowledge in this area. If anyone wants to help him fight a goose all the better.
Poke and Prance: Faris has the highest base agility stat in FFV and knows it. It's less about the bottomless coffee and more about the fun of it. He promises not to stick anything important. Really.
Bounties: Faris would be willing to take on the hydra goose and the dynamite rabbit this month, since they are demonstrable threats.
Event: Winter traditions: If Faris gets bit by a bat, it's going to be the one that makes him want to punch people. Maybe the lovey-dovey ones know that his emotions are way too annoying to sort through. He'll definitely be helping the other Corsairs to 'regift' things, Robin Hood style.
Island of Misfit Toys Faris is going to be a 12-inch dress-up doll, complete with a little plastic trunk containing different job class outfits: Thief, Dragoon, and Cannoneer. (His doll form will also have the appearance and proportions of that art!) SHOULD BE FUN TO DO QUESTS IN THAT STATE.
