CR WORKSHIP: NOVEMBER 2023

Our CR Meme CR Workship is where players can drop all the cool info for their characters and try to plot with others to continue existing or create new CR. Be sure to look over the MANTA Board as well as current events if you'd like to include them in your post.

We also include a designated toplevel for Crew Recruitment where players can make OOC ad posts for others to either join or request to join or make a crew. This is all for OOC coordination, so you'll have to figure out how it works ICly.

If you have multiple characters, make an individual toplevel for yourself with your player info and comment to it with each character separately.

Kell Maresh | Shades of Magic | Paladin

CHARACTER INFO

Character: Kell Maresh
Canon: Shades of Magic, Book 2 Part 10, Chapter 7.
Armada: Paladin

About: Kell is a prince from a magical world parallel to 1820 London. He is the strongest magic user in his world, and can travel between worlds (usually). He's legitimately fascinated but new places and really needs to live a little bit. He means well but he just gets more abrasive the more you get to know him. But he means well I promise!! He is just frustrated and kind of stupid and has only ever been wanted for his immense magical talents.

Abilities: As above he's super powerful and can do magic in a number of elements and blood magic. However, he doesn't have enough balance to do the kind of healing priests do or help tend to growing things, so that's something I'd want to explore with him!

PLANS

General: Long term I'm excited for him to get out. Despite being able to travel between the three Londons, he's never been allowed to leave London. Traveling is going to be super good for him! Short term I'm just excited to get him settled in and I hope I can get him some fun CR!
MANTA Board:

♠ Spellbound Circuitry: Kell is very academically inclined and loves finding new magic things and new machinery things! He'll be excited to have a part in helping, if he can.
♠ Thinking With Portals: travelling is an Antari's main job, so he'll want to see how other kinds of teleporting magics work! There is definitely a theme here...
♠ Found of Blades: Some of Kell's childhood memories are literally suppressed by magic, so from a personal standpoint he'll have a really interesting time with this quest. But on the flip side, he can also help others get out of dangerous situations as needed.

Event:

Like with Astarion, I'll have an open log for Kell with a mix of MANTA and event prompts. I don't have as many thoughts on the event but some ideas:
♤ Pumpkin Spice Turtles: Helping out with the little guys! They're cute...
♤ Fire Sprites: Kell has plenty of stories to share to help + he can do fire magic.
♤ Research: Kell will try and help defend the research from those naughty corsair thieves, and he'll probably over do it and also experience some of that energy drain.

CR Dreams: Kell is a new character for me and as a book character I know he's a little more obscure, so it's just my hope to find a good little home for him! I'm down for basically anything.
