Character: Azul Ashengrotto Canon: Twisted Wonderland (End of Book 6) Armada: Paladin
About: Azul is a pretty boy based on the Disney Villain Ursula from Little Mermaid. As such, he is a guy that is on the surface friendly and helpful, but in actuality can be rather greedy and more interested in building up wealth and power through his business ventures and magical contracts. He has been trying his best to play nice so that he can build up some rapport and investigate the best avenues that will allow him to return home... for better or worse, as everyone will find out this month lol. Abilities: Azul is an octomerman: his true form is that of a mermaid with octopus features. As such, he is able to swim farther/faster, breathe underwater, enhanced grip-strength, and has the use of his tentacles to grab and lift objects. He despises his octomer form due to his insecurities regarding his appearance, so he will try to avoid being seen in this state very often.
He is also an exceptionally skilled mage and alchemist: he can create and craft spells, items, and potions that anyone may be in need of for nearly any request, no matter how impossible it may seem. However, he will insist on people signing contracts with him using his signature spell "It's A Deal" in order for his magic to be able to accomplish the request being asked of him if it's a difficult request (or rather, if he feels it is difficult enough to require it), details of which can be found here.

General: So! There sure is some funny business happening with these rifts suddenly opening up all over the place this month... remember how I've been saying for the past few months that Azul has been trying to look into rituals and such that would allow people to go home if desired rather than waiting around for something to happen? Yeah. You can thank Azul for attempting one such ritual here and causing all these rifts to appear now in reaction to strong desires or thoughts about things that remind a character of "home"... you're welcome? You can go yell at him about it here if desired. I'm sure though that this is all fine and that there won't be negative consequences at some point down the road from all this magic and things he's been up to here lately...
In general as well, he is offering his services for spell/potion crafting for anyone interested! It's part of his business that is the Mostro Lounge, both a shop and a lounge/consultation office that may even host a few Game Club nights and opportunities for entertainers to perform on stage for an audience. He's also currently helping Kaveh out at his cafe at the moment due to the latter providing a place for him to stay, so anyone can feel free to catch sight of him there. MANTA Board: So aside from the quest that anyone is free to take that involves investigating into the rifts (and into Azul as figuring out that he's the person who caused said rifts to begin with) I am also interested in Eltrut Snap, Maid Day Mayday, Drowned In Silence, Shrimpy Business, Feather Me This, Medicine Crafting, and any bounties should someone desire to do one of these quests with Azul here! Just hit me up somewhere and we'll do some quest shenanigans together~! Event: Azul is absolutely going to go on the deep sea trip... but he is a very nervous and anxious octomer around other mers due to childhood trauma, so he plans on investigating and observing things from the shadows and tight places he can hide in around the sea.
