Extra: Alhaitham participated in figuring out the map pieces! He and Sherlock decoded the message that's left on Sherlock's piece and also had Mehrak scan everyone else's pieces to play around on his own.
He and Freminet got abducted by a hired group that basically had a case of mistaken identity (they were trying to get a kid but got Freminet, Alhaitham interfered and got taken too). They were both busted out by the rest of the Genshin cast (sans Heizou). Alhaitham in particular was intercepted right before he could be transported away. No lasting damages on either of them, but Alhaitham is fairly scuffed up from repeated beatings because he kept pissing their captors off lmao.
Most if not all the captors are dead because uh. Yeah.
